Chapter 83

The next two months were a whirlwind for the Olsen family. Maggie enrolled in the class, which was on curriculum development, one of her specialties. She loved the module, and the class was a breeze.

She updated her resume and was called for an interview. Even after all her preparation, she was a nervous wreck on the day.

Maggie dressed in a favorite deep blue two-piece suit and a pair of the Louboutins that Liam had bought her when they first got together.

She pulled her hair back in a professional twist and drove to the school. She met with Ed, Dave, Cindy, the instructional coach, and two members of the governing board.

She knew she knocked it out of the park and when she left and felt like she had a good shot at the position.

Dave called her the next day and told her how impressed they all were. His first official act as principal was to offer her the position.

Maggie accepted, hung up, and screamed, jumping up and down.

The boys heard her and came running into the kitchen, followed by the dog. Maggie picked up each of her boys, kissed and hugged them tightly, then hugged Tonya who took pictures of the occasion.

Maggie picked up her phone and started a video call with Liam.

“Hey, darling, how’s it going?”

“I got the job!”

“Maggie, I’m so proud of you! Congratulations! We are going out to celebrate tonight, so be ready by six! I’m calling my mom to see if she and Dad can watch the boys, okay?”

The boys heard him and started yelling at the prospect of a night of no rules with Grandma and Granddad. She promised to be ready and hung up.

She took the boys outside to the swing set Liam had made for them when Patrick was little, and they played outside before lunch and nap time. She wore them out, fed them, and set them down for a rest.

Maggie pulled out her favorite summer dress to wear for whatever Liam had planned for the evening. It was a black and white halter dress with a full skirt that flared around her knees.

She loved the way the dress showcased her still full and plentiful breasts and her wonderfully tanned arms and back. She felt so feminine and sexy in it and wished she could wear it more.

With Tonya on boy patrol for the afternoon, she told Maggie to go take a bath and pamper herself.

She didn’t need to be told twice and sunk into the steaming water, scented with her favorite oils. After her bath, she rubbed on lotion and gave herself a manicure and a pedicure.

She dried her hair in soft sexy waves and then pulled it into a high sleek ponytail.

She finished fixing the ankle straps of the shoes that Liam loved on her, grabbed her purse, and went downstairs to see her in-laws and husband in the kitchen.

Liam saw her come down the stairs and his heart stopped. She still made his breath hitch every time.

She came in hugged Elizabeth and Charlie, kissed each of her babies, took her husband’s hand, and left.

He drove her in the Corvette to a five-star restaurant on the beach where they had champagne and caviar to start, lobster and lamb for dinner, and an incredibly decadent chocolate dessert.

They got up and danced, remembering when they were first married and all the fun they had.

As they were drinking coffee with their dessert, Liam pulled a long black velvet box out of his coat pocket. “Look what I found!”

She rolled her eyes at her corny husband and took it from him. “Liam, you didn’t need to get me anything! This night out is perfect!”

“Oh, no! My wife is brilliant and just secured her first principal position! So she needs the appropriate accessories!”

She giggled as she opened the box and then gasped at the contents. Inside was a stunning diamond tennis bracelet.

“Oh my god, Liam! This is incredible!” Maggie hissed to her husband.

“You are worth it, darling! Congratulations! I love you and am so proud of you!”

He leaned over and kissed her sweetly as he took the bracelet out and put it on her wrist, attaching the clasp.

Maggie was speechless as she twisted her wrist in the light, watching the way the stones shone and twinkled. It was mesmerizing.

“Do you like it?”

Maggie took his face in her hands and kissed him seductively “I Love it, babe. Thank you!”

He felt a stirring in his groin and rubbed her back. “Let’s go home. I want you wearing nothing but this bracelet the minute my parents leave!”

Maggie loved the sound of that, and Liam stood and threw six hundred-dollar bills on the table, more than covering the bill before they rushed off.

They all but ran to the valet station and jumped in the car as Liam sped home. She couldn’t keep her hands off him and hoped that Charlie and Beth didn’t linger when they got home.

Charlie could tell that the sexual tension was pulsing between his son and daughter-in-law and ushered his wife out of the house quickly.

“If we don’t leave quickly, we will see things we never could unsee!”

Beth laughed and agreed as they drove home.

Liam and Maggie checked on their children, found them all sleeping, and then went to their room and ravaged each other for the next two hours.

They licked, sucked, and pleasured each other until they couldn’t even move from the exertion. Liam went in late the next day, having slept through the alarm.
