chapter 39

I was around time for Lucifer to be back I was dressed I did my hair and make up and then went into the closet to find a dress I picked a green silk dress

Now to find my shoes I'm so stressed cause i can find a shoe to go with the outfit and I'm running out of time I just choose some black heels

Once I was done i looked myself over and went downstairs to wait but Lucifer was there and he looked at me and his mouth fell open I reached the bottom of the stairs as he held his hand out to me "you look beautiful babygirl" I smiled looking down at my shoes when I heard giggling I turned and saw jennifer and Angela(my bad if that ain't they name I keep forgetting and I'm to lazy to start reading through old chapters to find out)"ooooooh yall so cute look at you imani getting dressed to go get some dick aight gone sis" she said laughing at me I just stood there scratching the back of my neck to shy to say anything

"Aight that's enough teasing come on babygirl"he said pulling me to his side and walking out the door we got to the car and he opened the door for me and then got in and started the car "so where we goi hold on lemme guess it's a suprise" he laughed "no actually we're going out for dinner"

"You know typical men would say it's a surprise put a blindfold on my eyes and surprise me with a beutiful dinner but then again nothing about u u is typical"

"From the way u were screaming last night I'm sure nothing about me is typical right baby" I just sat there chocking on air as he laughed  we pulled into some fancy restaurant as he got out to open the door for me and we walked in we went straight in as they greeted us and we go into an elevator and he pushed the button to the highest floor it was a quiet ride we got there and there was a beutiful dinner waiting for us "oh my God this Is so beautiful"

"Not as beautiful as you" he said pulling a seat out for me and then going to take a seat him self "I hope you like steak"he said smiling at me I nodded and we started eating and talking I ate half the food before I couldn't eat anymore as we talked and talked "you have room for dessert"as he said that a waiter came in with a tray in his hand and he opened it to reveal a beutiful diamond ring it he took it of the tray and went on one knee "imani Smith I love you with all my heart and u swear to love you till the day I die will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man alive by marrying me" I felt tears built up in my eyes "yes yes I do I'll marry youu" he put the ring on my finger and got up picking me up and kissing me as I laughed today was the best day of my life after dinner we went to the beach as I was looking at the ring the entire time

"You've been stareing at that ring the entire ride here" he laughed at me "well how do u expect me not to admire something so beutiful I said kissing him on the lips we stayed for a few more minutes enjoying each other's company but then I felt something build up in my throught as I felt like throwing up I quickly ran to a corner of and let everything out and Lucifer ran behind me holding my hair and patting me on my back "you okay baby" I nodded "yes I'm fine its probly cause I ate to fast" I felt another urge and went back "come on let's go back home where going to the hospital first thing tommorow morning"

I nodded my head not having the strength to argue and followed him to the car through out the car ride I just kept staring at the ring till we got home "so how was your date" Jennifer asked smiling I just lifted my finger showing her the ring she jumped up squelling giving me a tight hug and so did Angela "oh my God I'm so happy for u"they said I laughed saying thank you and we talked for a few more minutes before Lucifer pulled me away "come on u need some rest"

"Alright good night girls we'll talk tommorow"i said as I walked up the stairs to the room Lucifer right behind me once we get in we take a hot shower and get in bed "you feeling better baby"

"Yeah I'm just a bit tired that's all" he sighed "ok catch some sleep then I love you"

The next morning I was awakened by an already dressed Lucifer and I was so drained and tired to get out of bed "come on babe we have to go to the hospital remember "I groaned amcking his hands away "leave me the hell alone for u kill you bitch" before I could comprehend what was happening I was picked up and placed on the ground "now you mind repeating that to my face" I quickly shook my head running into the bathroom and getting dressed and then we went down for breakfast and drove off to the hospital  we went to see the doctor and he took some pee samples and checked my eyes and then checked my boobs he asked me if they hurt and the entire time Lucifer was waiting to pounce on him (ion know if I'm right but i heard that boobs hurt when pregnant how would I know I ain't had no damn baby lol) the doctor was literally shacking "I'll be back in a few minutes with the tests"he said literally running out of the room I turned to Lucifer placing my hands on his cheeks "baby relax it's only a checkup" I said nad I kissed him he smiled holding my hand after about 30 minutes the doctor returned

"Well congrats to you both your expecting a baby" and with those words everything froze
