YOU ARE THE RHYTHM OF MY HEART!Chapter 46 :Assuring him and the other family members about their return to town once again, Nandu, along with the rest of the family, bid them farewell and started their journey back to the city after packing all their belongings. Janaki had thoughtfully arranged food, snacks, fruits, and water for them to eat along the way.Since it was a long journey, they arranged for a driver. Akhil took the passenger seat, while Yeshwanth, Parasuram, and Sruthi occupied the middle row. Nandu and Aadhya sat in the last row of the seven-seater car.As they traveled, Nandu noticed Aadhya fidgeting with her fingers, gazing out of the window in silence. She seemed anxious, lost in deep thought. Sensing that something was troubling her, Nandu gently took her hand in his and gave it a reassuring squeeze.“Aadu! What's wrong?”, he whispered, not wanting to disturb the others. His voice was laced with concern as he continued,“You look so worried”.Aadhya's eyes glistened with unshed tears as she whispered back,“Everything happened because of me. You're facing all these troubles because of me. My presence in your life might bring misfortune to you. I—”. Her voice faltered, choked with emotion.Placing a finger on her lips, Nandu gently reprimanded,“Don't say such nonsense. You have no idea how much joy you've brought into my life. You are my real happiness. In business, we always face challenges, and I consider them trivial matters. When I can handle everything with ease, why should you worry? And don’t you dare say that you are a misfortune for me. You are the best thing that has ever happened in my life, something I will never regret—even at the brink of my death”. His voice was steady, unwavering.“Krish!”, Aadhya gasped, throwing herself into his arms. She sobbed softly, whispering,“Don't say that. Don't use such words. I can't bear to hear them. I wish for you to live a long, happy life”. Her voice overflowed with love and affection.Chuckling softly, Nandu wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. “Okay! Now don’t start crying again. You've been anxious since the journey began. Close your eyes and get some rest”, he gently suggested, guiding her head onto his shoulder.Feeling comforted in his embrace, Aadhya rested her head against his shoulder, closing her eyes. She believed with all her heart that Nandu would handle everything with ease.They reached their destination in the middle of the night. After dropping off Nandu, Aadhya, and Parasuram at their house, Yeshwanth and the others returned home.The next morning, Aadhya woke up early and prepared breakfast in advance, unsure of what time they planned to leave for the company. Parasuram was still asleep, exhausted from the journey, and Aadhya chose not to wake him, wanting to let him rest.After placing all the dishes on the dining table, she heard soft footsteps behind her. Turning around, she gasped in amazement, her mouth slightly open in surprise.Nandu stood before her in a business suit, looking as handsome as ever. The tailored fit perfectly outlined his tall figure, broad shoulders, and well-built body. His neatly gelled hair and freshly shaved face only added to his charm. Watching her stare at him in awe, Nandu chuckled softly and strode toward her, pulling her close by the waist, making her collide with his chest.“You know, seeing you ogling at me like that makes me want to change my plans”, he teased, his voice husky. “Shall we go to our room instead? I’d love to show myself off a little more if you admire me this much”.Blushing at his words, Aadhya lowered her head and gently punched his chest. “You always have dirty thoughts”, she scolded. “Come, have breakfast and get ready. You have to go to the company”. She tried to wiggle out of his embrace.Lowering his head to her ear, Nandu whispered seductively,“I’d rather have you for breakfast, but time isn’t on my side. How about a quick one before I leave for work?”, He playfully nibbled on her earlobe, making her clutch his suit as warmth spread through her body.Noticing the effect he had on her, Nandu chuckled and lifted her chin. Checking Parasuram’s door, he leaned in and captured her lips in a deep kiss, savoring her for a moment before pulling away.Gasping for air, Aadhya clung to him with closed eyes before looking at him with overwhelming emotions. “Krish! Don’t start something that will distract you from work”, she murmured. “Come and have breakfast”.She gently pushed him away and walked toward the dining table, trying to hide her flushed face.Smirking, Nandu followed her and wrapped his arms around her from behind. “Don’t worry, sweetheart!”, he whispered into her ear. “Whatever I’ve started, I’ll make sure to finish it once I return. Be ready for the night”.Blushing like a ripe tomato, Aadhya quickly pushed him into the chair, placed a plate in front of him, and served his breakfast, gesturing for him to eat.Watching her flushed face with admiration, Nandu ate his meal, his eyes never leaving her. In between bites, he even fed her a little, enjoying every moment. After finishing his breakfast and coffee, he bid Aadhya goodbye and left for the company in his car.-  *KRISH*
