Chapter 719 - Ask My Boyfriend If He will Let Me Go with You

A sigh of relief escaped Yan Qingsi when she saw Ji Mianmian. She let Ji Mianmian pack her things before leaving.

Yan Qingsi wanted to ask if anything happened while Ji Mianmian and Ye Shaoguang were alone. However, she could not ask while Yue Tingfeng and Xiao Xu were around.

Ji Mianmian did not seem to exhibit a noticeable difference. She did not seem to be injured, physically or emotionally. Surely nothing happened to her?

They reached the airport at around two. Once they finished checking in, Yue Tingfeng tugged on Yan Qingsi’s hand. “Let’s go home. Mom is waiting,” he said. “We did say that we would go on a holiday— the three of us. I will let you take one month’s leave.”

Yan Qingsi nodded her head. “All right!”

When they were going through customs, two men in black suits suddenly blocked her from proceeding. “Miss, our master would like to see you,” they said to Yan Qingsi.

Yan Qingsi was stunned. She lifted her head to look at Yue Tingfeng. He was quiet.

“All right. Ask my boyfriend first,” she said, smiling.

Yue Tingfeng slowly wrapped his arms around Yan Qingsi’s waist. “Please tell that your master that her boyfriend does not approve of this.”

The two men seemed troubled. “We apologize, but we’re just following orders. Please don’t make this troublesome. Miss Yan, please come with us. Otherwise... you might not be able to catch your flight.”

Yue Tingfeng thought this indirect threatening was laughable.

He nodded his head while smiling. “All right. Let me see how much power... the You family has.”

His sentence shocked Yan Qingsi and the two men. They did not think that they had revealed their identities. How did Yue Tingfeng know that they were under the You family?

Confusion whirled in Yan Qingsi’s heart. Her mind worked quickly. She did not even know that these two were under the You family. How did Yue Tingfeng know?

Did this mean that whatever she had tried to hide from him earlier was not really hidden at all?

Did Yue Tingfeng know far more than she did?

He.. he... Yan Qingsi did not know what to say. Sweat slicked her palms.

“Since you know that we work for the You family,” the two men said, “don’t struggle any further.”

Yue Tingfeng gave a devilish grin. “I know who you are, but you don’t know who I am?

“Didn’t your master teach you to not say anything stupid before you’ve verified who it is you’re talking to? You two have no idea on how to be careful.”

Yue Tingfeng’s smile was amicable, and he was not being arrogant or brutish. He looked calm like he was joking around.

The two men evaluated Yue Tingfeng. “Go and ask around Hai city— see if anyone dares to oppose the You family,” they said. “You better be careful where you step.”

Yue Tingfeng lowered his head towards Yan Qingsi. “Is the You family... powerful?” he asked. “I don’t think so.”

Yan Qingsi threw her arms out. “I don’t think so either.”

The corners of Yue Tingfeng’s lips quirked upwards; the smile on his face turned vulpine. “That’s true. The You family... what are they, really? And they dare to show off in front of me.”

“You—”

“Please get out of the way,” Yue Tingfeng cut them off. “We’re going through customs. Don’t delay our schedule, all right?”

“If Miss Yan does not come with us today, don’t think about boarding the plane,” the two men said.

Yue Tingfeng’s smile froze. “Since it’s like this, then... there’s no choice.”

He slowly raised his arm. A group of people who had disguised as passengers materialized around them. They surrounded the two men.

“Take them away,” he said coldly. “Tell your master, So what if I’m in Hai city! I can still squash this local tyrant of Hai city. They want to bully others but they don’t know who I am!”
