She called Huo Qingyuan’s number but no one answered.

Yan Jinyi stared at her phone screen for a moment and wondered, ‘Did something really happen to her?’

Yan Jinyi was dressed in a white sports attire today. After removing her makeup at the set, she tied her hair up into a ponytail. With her deceiving looks, she looked just like a lively college student.

Students from the third-rate university and the vocational college nearby would often come over.

Yan Jinyi put her shoulder bag at the side and leaned against the wall while playing some puzzle games on her cell phone.

There were seven or eight boys with colorful hair standing behind him. One of them had a cigarette in his mouth and looked rather nonchalant. He was obviously a campus gangster.

Yan Jinyi asked calmly with raised brows, “Is there a problem?”

Dong Xu flicked his short hair and combed his hair back with his hands. “Are you Yan Jinyi?”

His voice was rather familiar.

Yan Jinyi thought about it and recalled that he was the one who called her.

She turned around to look at the spot behind them but she didn’t see Huo Qingyuan.

Yan Jinyi did not ask about Huo Qingyuan eagerly and simply rolled her eyes at Dong Xu scornfully. “Since you already know, why are you still asking? Is there something wrong with you?”

‘This woman said there’s something wrong with me!’

Pushing the hair away from her forehead, Yan Jinyi asked with a look of confusion, “Who’s Dong Xu? Am I supposed to know who he is?”

‘She doesn’t know who I am? This bitch must be doing it on purpose!’

“I’m the boss of this turf. You’ve offended my cousin so you’d better kowtow and apologize to her. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being nasty!”

‘There they go again. This bunch of people are just paper tigers who can’t do much except throw their weight around.”
