Chapter 336: Is Huo Zihang gay?

‘Huh? So Huo Zihang is here to meet a man?’

Huo Zihang was particularly enthusiastic in inviting Yan Jinyi into the private room. “Second Sister-in-law…”

As soon as he spoke, Yan Jinyi immediately glared daggers at Huo Zihang who immediately changed what he was going to say. “Have a seat, Sister Jinyi, what would you like to drink?”

“Red wine.”

Huo Zihang immediately called for the waiter and even specifically ordered a serving of potato chips.

Seeing how compliant Huo Zihang was towards her orders, Huo Zihang’s childhood friend said scornfully, “Zihang, who is she?”

‘Zihang?’

Yan Jinyi raised her brows curiously. Only the members of the Huo Family would dare to call him by his first name.

Huo Zihang poured Yan Jinyi a glass of water before sitting down in between her and his friend. “She’s an artist of my company and the person my sister respects the most. Call her Sister Jinyi as I do.”

As he spoke, Huo Zihang began to introduce his friend to Yan Jinyi too. “Sister Jinyi, he’s my childhood friend, Liang Fanfan.”

‘Liang Fanfan? What a unique name.’

Liang Fanfan leaned close to Huo Zihang and asked, “Zihang, she seems to be about the same age as us, why do we have to be subservient?”

Huo Zihang put his finger on his mouth and hushed him while whispering, “Do what I tell you to if you don’t want to die.”

With a disdainful gaze, Liang Fanfan humphed and looked askance at Yan Jinyi with his chin raised. “Hey, how old are you?”

Huo Zihang hurriedly nudged him. “I said, call her Sister Jinyi. Are you courting death?”

Yan Jinyi’s attention was all on the MV that was being played on the television and she answered perfunctorily, “23 years old.”

Her birthday was indeed round the corner.

‘She’s only 23 years old?’

Liang Fanfan snorted in disdain. “Zihang and I are already 27 years old, you should be talking to us like you’re our senior instead.”

Yan Jinyi immediately shifted her gaze onto Liang Fanfan. “Are you sleepwalking?”

“What do you mean by that?” Liang Fanfan suddenly stood up.

Fearing that Yan Jinyi would punch Liang Fanfan, Huo Zihang hurriedly tugged onto him and sat down again. “Fanfan, just give in to her.”

“This woman is your girlfriend, right?”

Liang Fanfan questioned, pointing at Yan Jinyi.

Huo Zihang leaped up immediately and denied, “You must be joking. I don’t want to die yet, don’t spout nonsense!”

‘Liang Fanfan is quite a busybody.’

Yan Jinyi began to dislike him. ‘What kind of friends does Huo Zihang have? Why does he have such an oddball for a friend?’

“Zihang, I originally asked you out alone but you suddenly brought a woman with you and ignored me for her sake. Who matters to you more?”

Liang Fanfan was a grown man who was at least 1.8 meters tall. Yet, he was now questioning Huo Zihang like a jealous wife.

Yan Jinyi grabbed a handful of nuts and chewed on them while watching the dramatic scene take place before her.

‘Tsk, tsk, he seems to like Huo Zihang!’

‘Does Huo Zihang change his girlfriend ever so frequently, just to cover up the fact that he’s gay?’

‘I might be from ancient times but I’m very open-minded!’

She could accept homosexual relationships.

However, she didn’t quite like her future “brother-in-law” because he was getting on her nerves and she felt an urge to beat him up.

“Fanfan, both of you matter a lot to me. How can I decide? Okay, okay, let’s play a game.”

Liang Fanfan pursed his lips and took out his cell phone in displeasure.

Yan Jinyi played two rounds with them, only to realize that Liang Fanfan was deliberately targeting her as he kept driving the enemies towards her player avatar!

Yan Jinyi suddenly said coquettishly, “Zihang, I’m getting surrounded again. Hurry up and come save me!”

Huo Zihang immediately got goosebumps.

‘Yan Jinyi, are you out of your mind?’

“Zihang, I need help!” Liang Fanfan chimed in.

Huo Zihang hesitated for less than half a second. His desire to live compelled him to choose Yan Jinyi.
