Yan Jinyi had many scenes to shoot today so she worked till late at night.

Meanwhile, Liu Ran had several NG takes, causing the male lead to have to stay behind and shoot those scenes with her.

Ignoring the resentful glance that Liu Ran shot her, Yan Jinyi changed out of her clothes suavely and left. As soon as she arrived at the entrance of the studio, two policemen suddenly appeared to stop her.

“You must be Yan Jinyi, huh? Someone charged you for deliberate assault, please come with us.”

‘Jiang Zhao?’

Yan Jinyi looked at the both of them calmly and said, “Lead the way.”

‘I’m a regular guest of the police station! Don’t they know that they gave me a title of a glorious citizen?’

“I am Jiang Zhao’s father Jiang Hai, I believe you have heard of my name.”

As if he had heard the funniest joke on earth, Jiang Hai thought to himself with some disdain in his eyes, ‘Does this woman really thinks she’s some big shot? Zhao Xinchen is a famous heir and she said that he’s her underling? What a joke!’

“Mr. Zhao, Zhao Xinchen’s father, has already agreed to settle this matter in private. What right do you have to interfere? Miss Yan, you either compensate my son with a million yuan and kowtow to him to apologize, or…”

At this point, Jiang Hai paused and said, “I will lodge a formal appeal. Deliberate assault is a criminal offense. I think I still have the ability to put you behind bars for a few years.”

‘Compensate? You want me to compensate? Are you not a joker from the circus?’

Yan Jinyi yawned and lazily replied, “Sorry, I won’t choose any of them.”

Jiang Hai was furious. “In this case, Miss Yan, you’d better hire a reliable lawyer. You might be able to get a lighter sentence and a shorter jail term.”
