Jiang Hai babbled for a long time while Yan Jinyi shook her leg languidly like a boss. After he was done, she drawled, “Are you done? If you are, hurry up.”

Jiang Hai was immediately confused. “Hurry up and what?”

“Don’t you want to put me behind bars?”

‘What is wrong with this woman’s brain? She actually took the initiative to ask me to put her in jail?’

Jiang Hai was a little surprised. Most women of the entertainment industry, especially beautiful ones like Yan Jinyi, would establish close connections with some wealthy business owners.

‘Doggy Huo is so prideful, how can he bear to let his wife go to jail?’

Huo Zihang reached home at midnight and as soon as he entered, he saw someone sitting on the sofa, which gave him a huge shock. He was so frightened that he turned pale.

After switching on the lights, he finally got a clear look at who the person was. “Second Brother, why are you sitting here?”

With a cigarette in his mouth, Huo Xishen glanced at the spot behind Huo Zihang and after confirming that Yan Jinyi wasn’t there, he frowned slightly and asked, “Where’s Jinyi?”

‘Huh?’

Huo Zihang exclaimed in confusion, “Did something happen to Second Sister-in-law? I haven’t met her today!”

Huo Xishen pursed his lips and then ordered coldly, “Call the production team.”

Huo Zihang had already guessed something.

Yan Jinyi wasn’t home yet!

A few minutes later, Huo Zihang slowly approached Huo Xishen with his phone in hand. He hemmed and hawed while staring at Huo Xishen for a long time, not daring to speak.

“Speak up,” Huo Xishen ordered.

Huo Zihang shivered and said, “Chen Keyi said someone saw Second Sister-in-law being taken away by the police, probably for a crime she committed.”

‘Taken away by the police?’

He tapped his slender fingertips against his knee and said, “Uncle Zhang, call all the police stations in all districts and find out which one she’s in.”

Zhang Guoquan appeared out of nowhere like a phantom and said respectfully, “Yes, Young Master Xishen.”

Yan Jinyi refused to give in and Jiang Hai had already decided to make her go to jail. He also planned to contact a few reporters and have this matter publicized in the newspapers, so as to ruin her reputation completely.

“Brother-in-law, I’ll leave this to you then, you must get justice for your nephew!” Jiang Hai exclaimed as he bowed to the middle-aged man sitting in the deputy chief’s seat, with a subservient smile on his face.

“Brother-in-law, you’re standing on ceremony with me. Jiang Zhao is my nephew and since he was seriously wounded, I’ll certainly pursue this matter. I heard that he was beaten up by a young girl.”

“Hmph, she’s just an actress who recently gained some fame. Her name is Yan Jinyi and she’s really arrogant. Does she think she’s a big shot?” Jiang Hai’s face was full of contempt.

The deputy chief looked at the person in front of him and thought, ‘I’m afraid no one would have thought that the philanthropist Jiang Hai who looks all kind and benevolent on the surface, would be such a person, huh? But…”

“Why does her name sound so familiar?”
