Chapter 41: I’ll Be The Female Lead

Zhuang Heng said in an unusually ruthless tone, “That’s your business.”

“Is that Zhuang Heng?”

Yan Jinyi looked at Tan Sangsang.

“Yes, that’s Zhuang Heng.”

She had heard of Zhuang Heng. At the very least, the original owner was very familiar with that name.

In the room, Zhuang Heng refused to budge no matter how Tao Wei pleaded. Hence, Tao Wei decided to go all out and threatened, “If you don’t agree, I’ll commit suicide. By then, the news will all be about me, a director, taking my own life because Best Actor Zhuang Heng refused to take on the role I offered him. It would definitely affect your future no matter what.”

Zhuang Heng gritted his teeth and stared at Tao Wei. He had never seen such a thick-skinned and brazen man in his life!

“You want me to star in the film when you haven’t even found the lead actress. What are you trying to do? I can make countless people become devoted to me with my face alone. Will they stop being my fan just because of your suicide?”

At this point, Zhuang Heng sneered, “Director Tao, if I were you, I would have switched careers a long time ago. Did you say that you had found an investor? With that lousy reputation of yours, why would anyone invest in your film?”

Tao Wei’s face was a mixture of paleness and redness. Indeed, he did not even have an investor. How could he have the cheek to approach Zhuang Heng?

Tao Wei felt that the beautiful woman in front of him was like an angel who had descended from the sky.
