Chapter 414: I Didn’t Even Scream

“Just you wait, I’ll bring a girlfriend here tomorrow.”

Huo Qingyuan replied nonchalantly “You won’t last longer than a month with her. I can’t be bothered to waste time talking to you, I’m going to go look for Second Sister-in-law, she’s my true love!”

Huo Qingyuan happily called Yan Jinyi on the phone.

To her surprise, Yan Jinyi picked up very quickly this time.

“Second Sister-in-law, where are you?”

Hearing the noisy background, Huo Qingyuan could tell that Yan Jinyi was at the amusement park.

Her eyes lit up and she thought, ‘Amusement park!? I haven’t been to one in many years. Yet, she didn’t tell me!’

“Second Sister-in-law, wait for me, I’ll come now.”

Yan Jinyi did not hear what she said and she focused her attention on the pendulum ride.

Hearing the screaming coming from the people on the ride, she somehow felt that it was really thrilling.

“Jinyi, stop looking, why don’t we ride the merry-go-round together with Mu Mu?” Tan Sangsang asked, looking a little pale. Even though she wasn’t on the ride herself, she still felt like she was on it.

“What’s so fun about that? Do you think we’re shooting a cliché scene for a romance drama?” Yan Jinyi couldn’t help but criticize. “Ah, it has stopped. Wait a while, I’ll go play.”

Just as she was about to remove the scarf on her neck, she looked at the surrounding crowd before quietly putting it back on.

The weather was cool and there were many people who liked playing such thrilling rides.

More than half an hour later, it was finally Yan Jinyi’s turn.

She excitedly found the position with the best view and sat in between two men who seemed rather young. They also seemed to be deliberately sitting on both her sides.

Standing at the railing, Tan Sangsang called out worriedly, “Be careful!”

“Watch me soar high in the sky!”

As soon as she said that, the pendulum suddenly started moving and it sped up, lifting all the riders off the ground.

Yan Jinyi was ready to scream her heart out but as soon as she spoke, the two men on her side started shrieking and wailing in horror.

They even seemed to be on the verge of tears.

Holding onto the handrail, Yan Jinyi looked downwards before looking at the two people beside her expressionlessly. She felt like her ears were aching.

Finally, she could not help but curse, “Damn it, I’m a woman but I’m not even yelling, what are you wailing for? Shame on you.”

The two young men stopped yelling and looked at Yan Jinyi in bewilderment as if she was a freak.

“What are you looking at? You’ll never be as good-looking as me even if you keep staring!”

Yan Jinyi felt that her experience had been ruined this time and she walked back to meet up with Tan Sangsang and Mu Mu after she got off the ride.

Huo Qingyuan happened to have found them at this juncture. “Second Sister-in-law, Second Sister-in-law, I’m here. What ride do you want to try next? I’ll accompany you!”

“What’s fun…” As soon as she spoke, she discovered Huo Zihang who was behind Huo Qingyuan.

He was wearing a white turtleneck sweater beneath a baseball jacket, and a pair of sunglasses on his face even though it was snowing. He was tall and had a good figure, thus many young and impressionable girls were stealing glances at him.

“Why is Huo Zihang here?”

Tan Sangsang instinctively put the mask that she had bought for Mu Mu, onto Mu Mu’s face, and then pushed Mu Mu to her mother.

“Mom, take Mu Mu home.”

It was Tan Sangsang’s mother’s first time at the amusement park and she was having a whale of her time. A little displeased to hear Tan Sangsang’s words, she gibed, “Why? Do you think Mu Mu and I are getting in your way?”

Seeing that Huo Zihang was getting closer and closer, she picked up Mu Mu and shoved her mother towards the crowd.

“Second Sister-in-law, are you alone?” Huo Zihang asked with a cheery and handsome smile. He was already standing in front of Yan Jinyi now.

Glancing at the people beside Huo Zihang with her peripheral vision, Yan Jinyi sized him up and scoffed. “Indeed, you’re a wolf in sheep clothing.”
