Chapter 454: As Long As I Play The Sympathy Card

“Is that so?” Yao Xin suddenly pondered for a moment and smiled wryly. “In that case, I’ll make sure she never gets to make a comeback.”

As she spoke, she suddenly turned around to enter the lounge and put some blush on one side of her face, so as to make it as red as possible. She then picked up her cell phone to take a selfie.

“As long as I play the sympathy card, I believe Yan Jinyi won’t be able to do anything, especially with the news of her scandal that just broke out,” Yao Xin said confidently. After posting the photo on the Internet, she retouched her makeup and then headed to Huo Zihang’s office.

Huo Zihang had been waiting for Yan Jinyi for a long time, only to be told by the receptionist that Yan Jinyi had just left the building.

Back then, he had decided to sign Yan Jinyi on to TG Entertainment with the intentions of bullying her because the Huo Family didn’t approve of her back then. However, he seemed to have shot himself in the foot this time.

Yan Jinyi kept making it to the hot search list every other day and he was so busy with handling her affairs that he was almost like her personal manager.

Just as he was about to go home to complain to Huo Xishen, the door of his office was opened and Yao Xin entered smilingly.

Upon sight of Huo Zihang, Yao Xin’s eyes lit up and she scurried over to bow to him. With an innocent expression, she asked, “Mr. Huo, are you leaving now? Mr. Huo, can the episode of the variety show that I took part in alongside Sister Jinyi, still be aired on TV? Well, I said some mean things to her then and I’m worried that it might worsen her reputation.”

“How so?” Huo Zihang asked.

‘Is Mr. Huo Zihang still not aware of the news spreading all over the internet now?’

However, on second thought, she figured out that it was normal for Huo Zihang to not pay much attention to a nobody like Yan Jinyi since he was the CEO of the entire TG Entertainment.

Yao Xin frowned and said worriedly, “Mr. Huo, I actually think that Sister Jinyi’s private life shouldn’t be subject to the scrutiny of the public. What matters most is that she’s a good actress, isn’t it?’

‘Does this woman think she’s that big of a deal?’

Huo Zihang looked like he was listening to her but deep down, he was already starting to make plans for kicking Yao Xin out of TG Entertainment.

‘How dare she frame Second Sister-in-law? She must be tired of living.’

“Mr. Huo, you probably don’t know that Sister Jinyi made it to the hot search list because she was caught drinking with a few senior executives of renowned companies, right? Well, Sister Jinyi is at fault too. Being a public figure, she ought to know to hide her tracks. Now that she has been caught and exposed, not only is she facing backlash from all the netizens, many of the artistes of TG Entertainment have gotten flak too.”

“Is that so? How many executives did Yan Jinyi drink with? Are you sure it’s Yan Jinyi?” Huo Zihang asked, pretending to be baffled.

Yao Xin nodded and said, “Yes, it’s quite clear from the photos that it’s Sister Jinyi. Mr. Huo, please don’t boycott Sister Jinyi. She’s just trying to get better resources with her own effort after all.”

Huo Zihang swiped his finger across his phone screen a few times and asked nonchalantly, “Was Yan Jinyi drunk?”

“It seems to be the case according to the photos.”

Seeing the sullen expression on his face, Yao Xin thought that he was definitely going to terminate the contract with Yan Jinyi.

Being exposed in such scandals was the most dreaded thing for female celebrities, especially since there were so many men involved.

Everyone could imagine the consequences that would entail.

At this point, Yao Xin had already completely forgotten that she was actually the woman involved in the scandal.

“I remember that Yan Jinyi can hold her liquor well. Come on, tell me who those men are.”

Yao Xin then blurted almost without any hesitation, “Mr. Zhou, the deputy director of Chen Xin Entertainment, Mr. Lin the director of Tianhang Enterprise, and…”

At this point, Yao Xin suddenly realized that someone was amiss and she said, “Hehe, I just found out based on hearsay. I’m not actually clear if they’re the ones.”

Huo Zihang nodded and said, “Are you really sure it’s Yan Jinyi? These people can barely drink. Even my sister has a better liquor level than them but she has never managed to get Yan Jinyi drunk.”
