With folded arms, Yan Jinyi said, “Let me ask you then, do you think you’re richer than Huo Xishen?”

Tang Qing sulked and had no choice but to admit reluctantly, “Of course not, but he’s only a little bit richer than I am. Just a little bit.”

Yan Jinyi nodded and said, “In that case, you can sell yourself to me only when you become richer than Huo Xishen.”

‘Sell me to her? I’m not trying to do that, I’m trying to make you mine.’

Tang Qing chuckled wryly and pulled out a cigarette. He lit the cigarette up and said, “Miss Yan, you’re indeed very interesting and I realize that I love you more and more as each day passes. Are you really not going to accept me?”

Yan Jinyi asked the driver to stop by the roadside and she pushed open the door to alight. “Sorry, I have to go back and cuddle with Huo Xishen.”

Tang Qing’s facial expression stiffened.

Huo Xishen had just finished handling some matters at the office and was about to play a game of chess with Huo Xian when his cell phone suddenly began ringing.

Tang Qing understood him well so he continued, “Your little wife actually called you a dog in front of me and said that you’re only meant for cuddling.”

This time, Huo Xishen finally spoke up. As he sent down a chess piece in a particularly calm manner, he said, “Yes, it’s my pleasure. Well at least, my wife won’t say the same about you, nor will she let you cuddle her.”

Huo Xian couldn’t help but look at him when he heard this from across the table.

Huo Xishen had succeeded in provoking Tang Qing again.

‘Sly old fox, don’t you get too smug, I will beat you one day.’

“Mr. Huo, I think you ought to hear about this. Miss Yan has just given me a condition and as long as I fulfill it, she will leave you for me.”

Huo Xishen said composedly with a sullen expression, “Oh, work harder then.”

After saying that, he hung up without uttering another word.

Huo Xian asked with some curiosity, “Was that Tang Qing?”

“Yes.”

“What’s the matter? Hasn’t he given up on Jinyi yet?”

Huo Xishen nodded and said, “Mr. Tang is very resilient.”

“Well, that kid Tang Qing isn’t too bad either. At the very least, he’s comparable to you. What if Jinyi really changes her mind and decides to get together with him?” At this point, Huo Xian glanced at Huo Xishen mysteriously. “I do have a solution. As long as you and Jinyi have a child, you don’t have to worry about others coming in between you two.”

Huo Xian sulked. ‘Can’t you give in to me, rascal?’

When Yan Jinyi walked towards the entrance, she received a fund deposit notification from the bank.

Yan Jinyi grinned widely. ‘Zhuang Heng is the most sensible one.’
