Chapter 195 Kaia Takes the Initiative to Throw Herself into Someone's Arms
Dad, Stay Away from My Mom
She stood in the corner of the garden with Vincent, speaking softly and thanking him for his help while she was abroad.
From a distance, Raymond watched them, a flicker of displeasure in his deep eyes. He walked over, raising his glass to Vincent. "Vincent, thanks for coming to the wedding. Cheers."
Then he turned to Melinda with a gentle look. "Melinda, you must be tired. How about I take you back to the villa to rest?" Melinda nodded slightly and took Raymond's arm as they left the garden.
On the way back to the villa, Raymond's face was a bit somber.
Melinda teased, "Raymond, are you jealous?"
Raymond snorted, not denying it. "You're my wife. I don't want you getting too close to other men."
Melinda laughed, leaning on Raymond's shoulder. "Raymond, don't worry. I'll keep my distance. Vincent is a good friend who helped me a lot when I was abroad. I'm just grateful."
Raymond's expression softened a bit. He held Melinda's hand tightly. "Melinda, don't worry. As for Vincent, I'll make it up to him."
When they got back to the villa, he said tenderly, "Melinda, we can come to the island for vacations often and enjoy our time together."
Melinda blushed and nodded. As they walked to the second-floor balcony, fireworks suddenly lit up the night sky.
Raymond hugged Melinda tightly from behind, whispering in her ear, "Melinda, I love you."
Melinda was moved by Raymond's heartfelt confession. She turned around and hugged him back. "Raymond, I love you too." Their kiss, framed by the fireworks, was especially romantic and passionate.
As the night deepened, Claire was pulled back to the villa by Dennis.
Claire was feeling down, lost in the view outside the window.
Suddenly, she received a message from Dennis, asking her to meet at the dock in ten minutes for a night cruise.
She was thrilled. Though she didn't have time to change, she quickly touched up her makeup and hurried downstairs.
The moonlight was like water, and the dock lights were warm and dim.
Dennis was already there, dressed in a dark suit, leaning against the cabin door with a cigarette in his hand, looking serious.
When he saw Claire, a light flashed in his eyes, and he put out the cigarette.
"Come aboard," he called out cheerfully.
Claire got on the boat, puzzled. "Where is everyone else? I thought we were going on a yacht cruise with the group?"
Dennis glanced at her, a meaningful smile on his lips. "Tonight, it's just the two of us."
Claire was stunned. She hadn't expected Dennis to take the yacht out just for a private night cruise with her.
A mix of emotions surged in her heart, both touched and nervous.
The yacht slowly left the dock, the sea shimmering under the moonlight.
Suddenly, a deafening sound broke the night sky, and countless fireworks exploded
over the sea, lighting up the entire sky.
"So beautiful!" Claire couldn't help but exclaim.
She ran to the deck, excitedly watching the fireworks bloom over the water.
The yacht swayed gently with the waves, and she almost fell but was caught by a pair of strong arms.
"Careful," Dennis's deep voice sounded in her ear.
She turned to see the concern in his deep eyes.
Her heart warmed, and she gently pulled away from his embrace, walking barefoot on the deck.
The sea breeze blew through her hair and dress, making her feel one with the world.
Not far away, another yacht was brightly lit.
Claire squinted and was surprised to see Rhett on the deck.
He stood there, staring straight in her direction.
Her heart tightened, and she instinctively moved closer to Dennis.

Dennis seemed to notice Rhett's gaze too. He frowned and turned to the captain. "Speed up and get us out of here." The yacht quickly accelerated away, and when Claire looked back, she could only see distant lights flickering on the sea.
Back in the cabin, Claire couldn't help but ask, "When are we heading back to Shadow City?"
Dennis glanced at her and said calmly, "Tomorrow."
"What? Tomorrow?" Claire exclaimed. "I can't go home then! My parents are waiting for me!"
"You're my maid," Dennis said firmly. "I need you by my side at all times."
Anger surged in Claire, but she knew Dennis's character was unyielding. She could only sigh in resignation.
She suddenly remembered something. "The necklace you lost, is it important to you?" Dennis took the item and looked at it, a strange light in his eyes. He looked up at Claire. "Do you know what's on this necklace?"
"No," Claire answered honestly.
"It's a family heirloom," Dennis said seriously. "You finding it means we're fated, but you must promise to return it to me personally in a year."
"Personally?" Claire was stunned.
"Because..." Dennis paused. "You'd better find it quickly!" His gaze was deep and determined, as if trying to see through her.
Claire felt a chill and didn't dare ask more.
Dennis said nothing, just watched her quietly.
Claire suddenly felt like shouting into the sea, wanting to see how far her voice could
travel with the waves.
She spread her arms and shouted with all her might.
After shouting, she felt much lighter.
"What did you shout?" Dennis asked curiously.
"I said..." Claire dragged out her words, "Dennis, you're so handsome!"
She couldn't help but laugh.
Dennis was amused too, his smile warm and charming like a spring breeze. Claire was mesmerized. It was the first time she had seen Dennis smile so happily.
On another yacht, Kaia gracefully approached Rhett, wearing a tight silver dress that accentuated her curves. Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her eyes sparkled with confidence and allure.
"Mr. Thomas, did you have fun today?" Kaia asked softly, her tone carrying a hint of flirtation.
Rhett turned, his gaze sweeping over Kaia, a wicked smile on his lips. "It was alright." They exchanged a knowing smile, the atmosphere becoming subtly charged.
The boat swayed gently with the waves, and Kaia took the opportunity to move closer
to Rhett, almost feeling the heat radiating from him.
Her dress got splashed by the waves.
"Mr. Thomas, would it be alright if I changed at your place?" Kaia suggested, her voice dripping with seduction.
Rhett didn't answer, but his eyes said it all.
He gently wrapped his arm around Kaia's waist, and they headed towards the cabin together...
Meanwhile, Vincent was anxiously waiting for Kaia, having called her numerous times with no answer. He couldn't help but worry.
The next morning, Melinda opened her eyes to see Raymond's handsome face.
She quietly admired his sleeping face, feeling happy and content.
Just as she was about to get out of bed, Raymond suddenly pulled her back into his arms. "Stay with me a little longer." His voice was deep and magnetic, impossible to resist.
Melinda snuggled into Raymond's embrace, feeling his warmth. "Last night... were you satisfied?" she asked shyly.
Raymond chuckled softly. "Of course." His eyes were full of affection.
