Chapter 230 Tonight, I Want to Do Bad Things

Dad, Stay Away from My Mom

Claire shook her head stubbornly. "I'm not drunk. I wanna keep drinking."

Dennis sighed, knowing Claire's low tolerance for alcohol. If she drank any more, she'd definitely be wasted.

"Alright, no more drinks. I'm taking you home," he said gently.

But Claire didn't want to go home.

She shook her head, her eyes hazy as she looked at Dennis. "No, I don't wanna go home. I wanna be with you."

Dennis felt a flutter in his chest as he looked at her. He understood her feelings and knew he couldn't refuse her request.

So, he nodded and led her out of the ballroom.

Dennis booked a business suite at the hotel. In the elevator, Claire leaned against him,

her lips slightly parted. "Dennis, am I beautiful?"

Dennis looked at her flushed cheeks, a result of the alcohol, and felt a hint of intoxication himself.

He leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Yeah, you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen."

Claire smiled contentedly, tilting her face up to look into Dennis's eyes. "Then, tonight I wanna be bad."

Dennis instantly understood her intention as he looked into her affectionate eyes. Once they reached the room, Claire eagerly pulled Dennis towards the bed.

Her bold and passionate actions made Dennis's heart race.

But just as Claire was about to touch him, Dennis suddenly held her hand.

He looked into her hazy eyes and said seriously, "Claire, you're drunk. Let's wait until you're sober, okay?"

Claire shook her head stubbornly. "No, I don't wanna wait. I wanna be with you now." She tried to break free from Dennis's grip and continue her actions.

However, Dennis held her tightly, not letting her move.

He looked into her eyes, filled with desire, took a deep breath, and said dominantly, "Claire, listen to me. You can't be this forward with anyone else but me. Understand?"

Claire pouted, showing her displeasure. "Why are you so bossy?"

Before she could finish her sentence, Dennis silenced her with a kiss.

He kissed her deeply, leaving her breathless.

Then, he picked her up and carried her to the bedroom...

Back in the ballroom, the lights were dazzling. Melinda, slightly tipsy, leaned against Raymond, their eyes filled with affection.

Raymond whispered softly in her ear, "You're tired. Let me take you back to the hotel room to rest."

Melinda nodded gently, closing her eyes to savor the rare moment of peace and sweetness.

Navigating through the bustling crowd, Raymond carried Melinda into the elevator.

As the elevator doors closed, shutting out the noise, Raymond looked down at Melinda in his arms, his eyes full of tenderness and love.

He opened the door to their room and gently placed Melinda on the bed, covering her with a blanket.

Sitting by her side, he held her hand and quietly watched her sleep.

In that moment, time seemed to stand still, leaving just the two of them.

Meanwhile, Kaia and Rhett were still wandering around the ballroom.

They were looking for opportunities, hoping to gain something from the event.

However, things weren't going as smoothly as they had hoped.

They exchanged glances, seeing the disappointment in each other's eyes.

"Let's go have a drink," Rhett suggested.

Kaia nodded, and they left the ballroom together.

The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, and Claire groggily opened her eyes.

She turned to see Dennis lying beside her, a satisfied smile on his face.

Claire blushed slightly, remembering what had happened the night before.

"You're awake?" Dennis teased, "You were really passionate last night."

Claire glared at him playfully. "It's all your fault."

Dennis laughed and pulled her into his arms. "Don't worry, I'll take responsibility."

Claire gently pushed him away. "Who needs you to take responsibility? I just want to enjoy the moment."

However, when Claire got up to go to the bathroom, Dennis noticed a small stain of red on the sheets.

His expression softened, and he became even more determined to take responsibility for Claire.

In the bathroom, Claire's emotions overwhelmed her, and she cried quietly. She didn't understand how she had ended up like this.

She had wanted to enjoy the relationship casually, but found herself falling deeper and deeper.

She washed her face, took a deep breath, and tried to calm herself.

When she came out of the bathroom, Dennis had already prepared breakfast for her.

"Your eyes are red. Are you feeling okay?" Dennis asked with concern.

Claire shook her head. "I'm fine. Maybe I'm just allergic to alcohol."

Dennis insisted on taking her to the hospital, but Claire refused.

He sighed helplessly and went to buy eye drops for her.

Around noon, Raymond and Melinda joined them at the hotel restaurant.

Seeing Dennis and Claire already seated, they both smiled.

"Hey, you two," Dennis waved.

Raymond nodded. "How was last night?" The four of them exchanged smiles, the atmosphere warm and friendly.

After lunch, Raymond accompanied Melinda back to the office to handle some

matters.

Dennis, on the other hand, took Claire home to rest.

As Claire lay down for a nap, Dennis received a call from his family.

An urgent voice came through the phone, "Mr. Dennis Gonzalez, something's wrong!

Ten billion dollars have suddenly disappeared from the family account! And this involves the company's succession! Mrs. Qiana Gonzalez demands you return within a week to investigate!"

Dennis's expression turned serious.

He took a deep breath. "I understand. I'll return as soon as possible." After hanging up, he looked at the sleeping Claire, a complex emotion in his eyes.

Since confirming their relationship, Claire felt like her world was filled with sweetness.

They were like two magnets, inseparably drawn to each other, unaffected by the outside world's chaos.

Aside from occasional outings for meals, they spent most of their time at home, enjoying their time together.

Dennis, who appeared cold and mysterious to others, showed a completely different side to Claire. He was gentle, considerate, and always attuned to her every emotion. Whenever she nestled in his arms, listening to his steady heartbeat, Claire felt an immense sense of peace and happiness.

"Dennis, let's go to the amusement park tomorrow," Claire suddenly suggested. "Sure, I'll go with you wherever you want," Dennis said, affectionately tapping her nose.

In the evening, they prepared to go out for dinner.

In the underground parking lot, they interacted sweetly, as if the world only consisted

of the two of them.

Dennis suddenly picked Claire up in a princess carry, making her blush.

"Put me down, someone might see us," Claire whispered, struggling slightly.

"It's okay, no one's here," Dennis said with a smile, carrying her towards the elevator. Little did they know, a camera in a nearby corner was quietly recording everything. When Claire's parents found out she had a boyfriend, Beck hoped Claire would find someone to help manage the family business.

Sabrina, on the other hand, was curious to see what the guy looked like.
