Chapter 54 Treat It as Your Own Home
Dad, Stay Away from My Mom
Raymond was lying on her big bed, sleeping soundly. She walked around to face him and saw his handsome face looking peaceful, his breathing even. He was really asleep. "Raymond, go home and sleep."
She reached out to push his arm, but Raymond didn't wake up. She couldn't help but use two fingers to check his breath. His breathing was steady and natural; he was just asleep.
She remembered the nurse at the pharmacy saying that this medicine contained a sleep-inducing ingredient and would make one want to sleep after taking it.
She didn't expect the effect to be so obvious! She sighed. What should she do now? Let him continue to occupy her bed or drive him away?
Seeing that he had a severe stomachache tonight, it seemed a bit cruel to drive him away.
But if she let him continue to sleep here, where would she sleep? Although she could sleep in Sam's room, how could she let a man like Raymond sleep in her bed?
She stood by the bed with her hands on her hips, looking at the sleeping Raymond, and finally softened her heart.
"Alright! Just let you sleep for one night," she muttered to herself.
After saying that, she turned to take a shower. Tonight, she would have to squeeze in with Sam.
After her shower, she returned to Sam's room in her pajamas, only to find that Sam was already sound asleep. She lay down on the bed quietly, but couldn't help thinking about Raymond occupying her bed.
A strange feeling arose in Melinda's heart again, and she felt an urge to go check on Raymond. Was he uncomfortable? Was the air conditioning too cold, making him catch a cold?
Thinking of this, Melinda quickly adjusted the air conditioning to a comfortable 27 degrees.
But when she saw that Raymond didn't even have a blanket on, she couldn't help but run to the bed and reach for her blanket. She bent down and carefully covered him. At that moment. Raymond.. who had been sleeping suddenly opened his eves. His large hand grabbed Melinda's arm, pulling her into his embrace. Melinda lost her balance and fell onto Raymond's chest. The next second, Raymond's strong body pressed down on her.
"Raymond, what are you doing, you bastard!" Melinda shouted angrily.
"What do you mean by bastard? Like this?" Raymond smiled and kissed her the next second.
His large hand cupped her face, leaving her nowhere to hide.
Raymond's kiss made Melinda feel a conflict and struggle she had never experienced before.
She wanted to resist but couldn't help but sink into it.
After her shower, she smelled fresh, and even her breath was sweet, which was undoubtedly a huge temptation for Raymond.
Raymond was very measured and didn't cross her boundaries, but this kiss made Melinda's breathing completely out of control, leaving her weak.
Finally, Raymond stopped kissing her. Looking at the blushing Melinda in his arms, his magnetic laughter sounded in her ear, "You still say you don't like it?"
"Get off me!" Melinda pushed him away forcefully and said angrily, "I think you're not sick at all. Get in your car and leave!"
But Raymond lay back on the bed, looking very sleepy, "I'm tired, I can't drive."
"Stop pretending!" Melinda didn't believe his lies.
"If something happens to me, can you take responsibility?" Raymond squinted at her, exuding sexiness.
Melinda's breath tightened, and she quickly looked away, "Just one night, you have to leave first thing in the morning!"
After saying that, she quickly closed the door and left, returning to Sam's room. That night, she was destined to be sleepless. Raymond's image and that kiss kept appearing in her mind.

She felt like an electric current had passed through her body, making her feel numb.
For the past five years, she had kept her distance from men, but why did this feeling seem to fail with Raymond? What was wrong with her?
In the latter half of the night, Melinda finally couldn't resist the sleepiness and fell asleep in a daze.
In her sleep, she heard Sam's excited voice, "Raymond, you're really sleeping at our house!"
Melinda suddenly opened her eyes and got out of bed.
Opening the door, she saw Sam sitting on the sofa in his school uniform, while Raymond was sitting next to him, helping him organize his school bag.
"Are you taking Sam to school?" Melinda asked sleepily.
Raymond looked up at her, his eyes showing a hint of concern, "Didn't you sleep well last night?"
"No, I slept very well!" Melinda replied, but the dark circles under her eyes betrayed her.
"Go back to sleep. I'll take Sam to school," Raymond said, taking Sam's hand, "Let's go!"
"Goodbye, Mommy," Sam said happily, waving at her.
Melinda finally had a chance to relax in the morning. She thought about it and decided her little nest was more comfortable, so she turned back and snuggled into the warm bed.
After dropping Sam off at school, Raymond didn't go straight to the office as usual. He packed breakfast and returned to the apartment, entering Melinda's home again with
ease.
Melinda had given him a key last night.
He carried the breakfast and pushed open the half-closed bedroom door, immediately seeing Melinda curled up, hugging the blanket and sleeping soundly.
Raymond's lips curled into a smile. He walked in quietly.
Melinda had no idea that Raymond was admiring her sleeping posture. If she knew, she would definitely try to sleep more gracefully.
At this moment, she looked like an adorable little kitten, occasionally adjusting her position to find the most comfortable angle.
Raymond's gaze was as gentle as water, a loving light flickering in his eyes.
He watched Melinda lying relaxed on the bed, the sunlight from the window shining
on her face, her skin delicate and her lips tender.
She was so beautiful that he couldn't help but feel moved, even wanting to take a bite and taste that tempting flavor.
Melinda's pajama neckline was a bit low, revealing her delicate collarbone and more beautiful scenery.
Raymond couldn't help but swallow, his Adam's apple moving.
His proud calmness and restraint were completely ineffective in front of Melinda. His heart was already out of control.
However, he didn't continue to look. Because he knew, Melinda would belong to him sooner or later. He had this confidence and patience.
Raymond got up and left the bedroom, leaving Melinda to continue her sweet dreams.
However, Melinda didn't have the habit of sleeping in. Her biological clock woke her up on time. The sound of car horns from outside made her open her eyes in a daze.
She stared blankly for a while, then got out of bed. She fumbled to wash her face and brush her teeth. When she wanted to get a drink of water, she was startled by Raymond sitting on the sofa.
