Chapter 390
Betrayal At the Altar by Dolores Delia
Chapter 390 Hearing that, David had a frigid look on his face, giving an intimidating aura.
Rachel held his hand to comfort him as if she was stroking the fur of a lion that was on the edge of going nuts.
She looked at Zion and said indifferently with her cold voice, âMr. Summers, weâre practically strangers. I donât know why youâre making jokes like this. Forgive me for being outspoken, but youâre going too far.â
Hearing that, Zion chuckled, âMiss Grey, how do you know that weâre strangers?â Rachel looked at Zion, confused.
She started thinking and was sure that she didnât know Zion before.
She was 100% sure that this was the first time she had ever seen him.
Zion said, âJohn once showed me your picture.â
Rachel was speechless. It turned out that there was another person behind this.
Before she could say anything, Zion continued, âHe owed me a favor before and I donât think itâs too much for him to use you to pay me back.â
Not too much?!
These two people practically traded her without her knowing, and they even had the guts to say that it was not too much!
Rachel snorted in anger and said with her eyes filled with coldness, âMr. Summers, Iâm sorry but Iâm not interested in you at all now and I will never be interested in you in the future!â
With that, she stood up and left.
Hearing Rachelâs blunt words, the cold expression on Davidâs face softened a little. He got up and followed Rachel out.
The two of them walked into the pavilion in the Summers familyâs garden. without knowing it.
As soon as she stopped, Rachel turned around and hugged Davidâs waist. She looked at him with a sequent smile, âAre you still mad?â
âMy girlfriend is fooling around behind my back? You think I shouldnât be angry?!â David looked down at her quietly, admiring her beautiful face.
âFooling around is a term used to describe a person who is flirty,â Rachel explained with an innocent look on her face, âfirst of all, I didnât mess with him, and secondly, I didnât flirt with him. Either way, itâs not my fault, right?â
David reached out his hand and pinched her face, saying, âThen itâs my fault now?â
Rachel winked and sneered with her almond eyes sparkling wittily, âYou said it, not me.â
Before she could even finish her sentence, David grabbed her waist with one hand and held her tightly in his arms.
He squinted his eyes with a hint of danger as they darkened. âSay it again?â
They were extremely close to each other, their breaths mingling together. She could feel the manâs warm breath on her face and it was a bit intimidating. Rachel raised her eyebrows and gave him a beautiful bright smile.
She stood on her tiptoes and leaned forward to sniff at the manâs collar. âI smelled jealousy.â
âYeah, and if that jealousy doesnât fade away, Iâm afraid RaeâRae will have to suffer a little tonight.â The man lowered his head and breathed into her ear, causing Rachelâs body to tremble.
She struggled out of instinct but then she realized that he was so much stronger than her.
Rachel looked up into his dark eyes.
His gaze was flared up with obsession as if there were flames in his eyes, exposing his restless desire in front of Rachel.
Rachel became a bit breathless. Then she blinked at him calmly and stood on her tiptoes to steal a kiss from him.
After getting a kiss, David finally let go of her.
Rachel instantly struggled out of his embrace and said, âWith my background and looks, itâs not surprising that I can attract a lot of men.â
âYou reminded me of something.â David grabbed her wrist and walked out without saying anything else.
Rachel, who was following behind, was totally confused.
