Chapter 10: Troops

Cara's POV

On sunday we tried to sunbathe although we did not get tan at all. We only got sunburned inspite of lathering our skin with sunblock. "We" is a strong word rather I got sunburned not Blake.

Blake tried to teach me how to swim. After kicking him multiple times in his face which I swear is an accident he gave up.

We decided to comeback here every month for some alone time. Spending time with Blake makes me dizzy. With his childlike, soft and borderline narcissistic attitude and combined with his alluring hazel and green eyes. Don't forget about his Godlike body. You don't know what to focus on. His face doesn't match his behaviour. He is a big ass contradicton.

You'll be snag by his beauty but after a minute he'll say some stupid shit breaking your first illusion. You're like married to multiple people.

We are now traveling back to our house. He hates driving in the afternoon. I don't know why. We reached the estate at 8pm. I am so tired.

After he parked the car he immediately goes to my side to open my door.

Good at this point he'll be a perfect gentleman at the end of the month. Training him is easy.

Blake is like the human version of a golden retriever. Don't tell him I said that.

I hugged Charlie when I saw him waiting for us at the front door.

"Welcome back Miss Cara."

"Just Cara please. You are technically my father."

Charlie arc his brow. "Okay our very very young father."

Charlie smiled and continued to greet his "master" Blake.

Blake hugged him and murmur something which I did not hear clearly. We went towards the dining room and as usual food are laid out.

"Sweetheart after we eat I want you to meet some people. If that's alright."

"Sure no problem." I replied and continue eating my potato salad and steak.

After we ate. We went to his living room and after a few minutes Charlie entered with 10 men. I fairly recognize them but I don't know where.

"Sweetheart they are part of your troops. Introduce yourself."

They are Sinedy, Ashwan, Aldin, jeezus,Hero, Clark, Zach, luke, Nilo,and Nile who smiles at me and his tooth gap appeared.

"Hey! I remember you!" I exclaimed. I stand up and walk towards them. "You are the guys who was outside my apartment right?"

They all nodded simultaneously.

"Yes Mam that's us!"

"Wow you look different!" You really can't recognize them. They are all wearing fitted suits. Their hair are all cut cleanly. They are all clean shaven and there is a drastic difference with their appearance a week ago. For god sakes Baby Jeezus have dentures! And Nile has braces!

"You all look very handsome and-"

I was cut off when Blake slung his arms around my shoulders.

"This is My wife so give her the utmost respect. You understood?"

They saluted Blake and shouted "Yes sir!" At the same time.

"They will be your team Cara. They will be all at your disposal. Whatever is needed to be done tell them. They all signed an NDA so our secret is safe. They all know the consequence if they break the deal."

I can see all of them gulp in fright. What kind of consequence Blake is talking about to make them this scared?

My eyes widen. Excitement coursing through my body.

"I have my own team? So cool! I think we needed a team pose and cheer don't you think?"

We huddle together to discuss my idea. Since we are 11 I need to change some the poses.

I remember watching Dragonball Z when I was a child and think that is cooler to recreate their poses.

"In a count of 3. 1! 2 ! 3!

"Team CARAmel!"

They all shouted at the same time.

Blake's face is so hilarious. Confusion, amazement and is that jealousy? is painted in his face.

I high fived them one by one and invited them to seat down on one of Blake's massive couch.

"Listen to me. I will discuss who is our first target. And what are we going to do with him.''

I discuss our plan. All of them put in a suggestion or two to make our plan much more seamless.

The staff passed some snacks because our meeting took longer than we thought.

"You remember what are your places?"

They all nodded.

"Sinedy and Ashwan you'll be assigned to his floor as a cleaner, Nile since you look younger you'll be an intern. Baby Jeezus and Nilo you'll be at the security, Aldin and Hero you will be inside the CCTV command center of the company to monitor. Note any suspicious activity. Luke and Zach you'll be assigned as the valet. Make sure to keep an eye on him because they always meet some accomplice at the parking area."

They nodded in confirmation.

"Meeting adjourned."

After they are gone I sigh and lean my head to Blake's chest.

Without any question Blake carries me back to our room.

"Put me down Blake. I am heavy."

"Nonsense sweetheart. Just sleep and let me take care of you okay?"

"Fine." I mumble and let sleep take over .

Blake's POV

I woke up cold. I already miss her.

Tsk.

I should just readjust the schedule of Cara. I know she'll kill me if I did that.

Day two of being married and I am already whipped.

I sigh and gets up to get ready for my work.

I arrive at the office and my employees always gave me a wide berth when I am walking. I am wearing my aviator glasses that's why I look more intimidating.

I arrive at the top floor and as usual Maria and Jane scrambled to their place. Why do they keep chatting in the middle of the hallway?

I saw Cara pretending to vaccum the already clean carpet. I stop myself from smiling at her.

Be serious Blake! Don't ruin the plan!

I enter my office and slam the door for good measure.

I start to do my pending work. Jane as usual timidly knock and entered my office. She recites all my appointments for today. I glare at her when she scheduled an appointment at 1pm and with that asshole Rodriguez.

"I-I am sorry sir. I told Mr. Rodriguez that you are not available until 2pm but he still uhm insist." More like threatened my P.A.

I just nodded at her.

She sigh and went out of my room.

Cara entered my office holding a rug and furniture polisher in another hand.

I stand up and walk towards her. She was shocked when I unexpectedly hugged her and press my lips to hers.

''I miss you sweetheart." I murmur.

Cara is still frozen when I let go.

I walk back to my seat and wait for her to unfreeze. She is so cute when she is flustered.

It was my turn to get surprise when she spray the cleanser to her face.

"What the hell?!" I shouts in surprise.

I run to my restroom and grab a clean towel and soak it with one of my Evian water.

Cara is still standing in the middle of my office. I wipe her face with the soak towel.

"Cara! What the heck! Why did you do that! You might get blind! Are you crazy?!" I shouts.

I made sure that I remove all the chemicals to her face. I got another clean towel to dry her face.

"Open your eyes slowly." I instructed.

She slowly open her beautiful blue eyes.

"No stinging? No pain?" I ask.

She shakes her head. I sigh in relief.

"Why did you do that?" I demanded.

"It is your fault!" She exclaimed.

"My fault? What the hell? I am 3 feet away from you! What?! Do you think  I Mr. X your ass and made you spray the cleanser to your face?"

"Why are you mentioning porn sites in this situation? And for godsakes just warn me before doing something like that!"

Porn? When did I mention porn sites? Evidently the cleanser fumes damaged her brain.

"Why should I warn you?"

Her answer made my heart beats erratically.

"Because you made my heart fluttered when you kissed and hugged me like that. It caught me off guard!"

Can't she see that she has the same effect to me? The heck I even admitted to myself this morning that I miss her already.

I open my arms and Cara voluntarily walk to my arms. I engulf her to one of my hugs.

"You can't stop me from doing that Cara. I am a tactile person. I love to show my affection by touching so get used to that." I murmured.

She did not answer she just mush her face to my chest.

I regretfully release her from my hug.

"He'll come at 1pm but he will barge in your office earlier maybe he is coming up now." Cara smirks.

I narrow my eyes at her and sure enough I can hear commotion outside my office.

Cara smoothly proceeds to go inside my private restroom and lock the door.

I hurriedly sat down on my chair and pretends to answer my emails.

My door opened loudly. Our first victim entered huffing and clearly disheveled.

Jane was behind him panicking. "Mr. Bradford I am so sorry. I tried to-" I raise my hand to stop her. It is not her fault. I just nodded at her and she silently close my door.

I glare at him and said

"Speak."

Mr. Rodriguez gulp and replied

"My office has been ransacked."

I lean back on my chair and cross my legs.

Phase 1 done.

Let the games begin.
