Chapter 29,Part1
Mob Protagonist ~ Mob in the Novel But There is a Problem
Chapter 29.1. Letâs Change The Future Of Tragedy
Letâs spoil the story of this series of events. Well, it was a simple event.
The Crown of Clay awakens when you put in an incredible amount of mana and turn it into a divine weapon [Aegis Crown]. It is one of the Sacred Artifacts that sealed the Demon God Ashtaroth.
In other words, it is one of the important items in the novel. It was good that I could get one of them as soon as possible.
These Sacred Artifacts. In both the anime and the video game, the master of a gang of thieves in a slum had it. I donât know about the novel, but itâs probably the same. It was an event around the middle of the book, so it must have been before volume 10.
I donât know about the novel version, but in both the game and the anime, the [Nidhogg] executives show up to take The Crown of Clay. The thieves are all killed, and the enemies who have returned to the true form of the crown of clods [Aegis Crown] use the power of the sacred treasure to fight the protagonist.
Eh, the name of the enemy executive?
I donât remember anything like that.
The hero manages to defeat him, but in the end, the [Aegis Crown] gets stolen by the mastermind that suddenly appeared, and escapes. The protagonist, exhausted from the battle with the executives, misses out on it.
The same thing happens in the game. Even if the player defeats the mastermind in two turns, the hero is exhausted, the crown gets stolen, and the mastermind escapes. Hey, what did you guys do? My played characterâs stamina and MP are still full. Even if I wanted to chase after him, the hero and his gang would ignore me.
Why do the thieves have the Crown of Clay? In the anime and the game, it existed as one of the stolen items. There was no background.
So, I was thinking. Why did the bandits have it? Maybe today was the turning point? The Aburages did not give the Crown of Clay to [Yggdrasil]. Therefore, they were all killed by [Yggdrasil] who tried to take it from them. But they were unable to recover the crown. Itâs a classic template.
That is the future. One of the alternate future. Maybe the Aburages were all killed. Iâm not sure why the magic tools went to the bandits, but itâs called novel opportunism.
I acted to prevent the robbery that would have killed the Aburages. I only gave the [Yggdrasil] a fake crown. Thatâs all.
But not just any fake. It was a fake using the power of the game. The crownâs special ability before awakening is the same, as is the fact that it glows like a shiny toy transformation belt as if it is about to awaken at any moment. I want the enemy executives to dream they will transform themselves into tokusatsu heroes.
It is impossible to spot the difference. Even in the game, the enemy didnât see through it and brought it back. And it didnât get noticed until I cleared the hidden route.
The game version has a secret route. In the game, the player collects Sacred Artifacts sealed by a demon that the enemy is supposed to obtain. If we collect all, we can completely revive the Demon God Ashtaroth. It is impossible to do so by ordinary means. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
The way to get the crown is simple. Before [Nidhogg] attacked the bandits, we secretly exchanged the crown for a fake one. I used the fake item I made during the exchange.
Someone can praise me for that. Itâs a genius idea.
There are five more Sacred Artifacts left. I have all artifactsâ fake recipes, so letâs trade them when I get stronger. It would be a problem if the location is different from the game like this time, but there are 6 years left until the original work starts. Letâs be optimistic that things will work out.
The reward this time was good. The performance of the [Aegis Crown] is good. It takes quite a lot of MP to awaken it, but once my level goes up, it should be no problem.
Iâll leave the [Magic Mitigation Potion] in the item box. I have never seen this item in the game. I hope I can use it for something, but I will leave it as it is. Well, it is common in games we get garbage items as event rewards.
So, my sleepover at Tamamoâs house ended with a good result.
So, I am now in the living room of my house, facing my parents with a difficult face.
I can tell by the air that they are not angry with me. Itâs pretty heavy. When they tell me theyâre getting a divorce, I, as a child, plan to be a cuss guy, but they donât seem to have it in the works.
âMii-chan. I want to talk to you. Itâs an important one.â
âAn important talk?â
I asked, trying to look innocent as my dad opened his mouth with a serious expression.
âThatâs right. Mii-chan, there are very few recovery magicians.â
Wow, there are hardly any recovery wizards? Just as I expected. How many thousands? About 5,000? Even in the net game, theyâre not many white mages who could become one. I can understand that. Itâs not so popular.
âThere are only 31 people in Japan, including Mii-chan.â
âWow, there are only 31 people in Japan. â¦â¦â¦ is 31?â
I didnât understand.
The digits were different. 3-1? Seriously.
Seeing me, the gray-haired, childish girl so stunned that I opened my mouth to gape, Yoshiyuki, my father, frowns and nods back at me. He has mixed feelings of pride and thought his dear daughter would suffer.
My dadâs wife Mirei feels the same way. Moreover, Miu cures someoneâs magic disease. Gently and tenderly stroking myâs gray hair, my mom also opens her mouth.
âMii-chan, you cured the magic disease, right? There are only ten people who can cure it.â
âHuh? But it was easy to fix, mama?â
It was Disease I. It was the lowest-ranked abnormal condition. It was a disease that even a novice priest could cure. As for me, I was in turmoil. Why?
Confused, my mom smiled wryly at the size of my talent when I asked her what was wrong. I could see the look on my momâs. She wasnât lying and that it had been easy for me.
âItâs harder to heal a disease than to heal an injury. Injuries are said to be good to heal if you grant a power similar to self-healing, but for illnesses, there is a possibility of virus activation, and recovery magic is said to be ineffective. Therefore, only 10 people in Japan can cure a disease! If we count Miu-chan.â
Miuâs head was starting to spin. Seriously? Thatâs too few. Oh, right, thatâs right. I bite my lip as I realize something. I had been careless.
