Author's POV:

The next day, Mandira awoke to the sound of rain pattering against her window, the rhythmic melody both soothing and melancholic. As she lay in bed, the events of the previous evening flooded her mind. Andhkansh's gentle demeanor, the warmth of the ginger tea, and the way his eyes had softened when they met hers lingered in her thoughts like a sweet, lingering perfume. She couldn't shake the feeling that their lives had taken a turn she had never anticipated.

"Areeee school bhi to jaana hai ! " she stood up with a gasp.

After a quick shower, she dressed in her uniform , making a pony of her hairs. After taking a final look in the mirror she picked her bag and an umbrella as it was raining outside .

What would happen when they met again at school? Would he avoid her, or would their dynamic shift into something more? Her heart raced at the thought, and she decided that she needed to face the day with courage.

Meanwhile, Andhkansh sat in his modest living room, staring out the window at the rain. He had spent the night wrestling with his thoughts, particularly about Mandira. He couldn't deny that their interaction had left a mark on him. There was an undeniable connection, but the teacher-student boundary loomed heavily in the air, making him hesitant to explore it further. He had to maintain professionalism-after all, he was her teacher first and foremost.

"Stop it Andhkansh she is your student and whatever you did yesterday you won't repeat it . "

As he prepared for school, he locked his door and turned to see a lock already at her room...

Andhkansh's POV:

She already left for the school !

Ofcourse she would as students time is little earlier than of teachers !

At school, the atmosphere buzzed with the usual chatter of students, but Mandira felt a strange weight in her chest as she approached her classroom. She entered, and her heart sank when she saw Andhkansh standing at the front, discussing the curriculum for the week. Their eyes met briefly, and she felt her cheeks flush. He looked away, focusing on the lesson, and Mandira took her seat, trying to calm her racing heart.

As the class progressed, she struggled to focus on the lesson.

As his explanation was completed

"Alright students I gave you the worksheet of biology as homework. I hope you all did that ...." he asked

"Yeeeeesssss siiiirrrr ! " all the students shouted

"Oh I think everyone did it ..." he said smilingly

"Please stand up if anyone is an exception here???" He said taking out his red pen

Andhkansh's POV:

I roamed my eyes all over the class room only to find her standing. Wait ! Her ??

"Mandira you didn't??" I asked being curious

She shooked

Oh God ! I always give punishment for delay work but how can i do that with her after seeing her face filled with innocent powers

"Why so??" I frowned

"Si--- ir i had fever ! " she said and yeh i got every thoughts of last night....

Everyone laughed

"Oh such a mare excuse...." Palak roasted her

"Silence class ! Its the first time that's why i am leaving you but next time this shouldn't repeat ! " I said but she looked down no face me Mandira!

"Am I clear ???" I said again

"Yes- yes sir ! " she shuttered

The bell rang.....

"Thankyou sir " everyone bowed

"Thankyou class !" I said not before saying -

"Mandira, 3rd is your free period so come to my office to complete the worksheet." I ordered her and every student stared her with amusement

Looks like in jealousy because everyone don't get the chance to be "alone" with me right ??

"Oh- ok sir ! " she said

And i took a leave ....

Mandira's POV:

I was ashamed that i was the only one who didn't done his homework but i really forgot because of my illness and tomorrow's incident.

I listened some of the girls to call me lucky as he himself ordered me to visit his office and complete my work with him.

Seriously ! Its not lucky for me ....

I don't wanna face him it just makes it difficult for me....really!

3rd period started and it was free as our english teacher was absent .

Oh i remembered, i need to visit his office...

I took my file and the worksheet to go to his room....

"All the best ! " A girl said

I was moving woth baby steps towards his office my heart was pounding that it could come out of my ribcage....why he called me when i could complete it at home also!

With a lot of hesitation i knocked at the door ....

And a deep voice came "COME IN ! "

No please say you are not allowed because i don't want to-

I went inside with slow steps and head low....

But it was no way down when i listened his words -

"Ready for your punishment Ira...??
