There was always another way of saying everything.

Annie came home from the hospital….

It was a beautiful duplex, beautifully decorated, but Annie had trashed it. The servant was busy cleaning up.

Annie’s wine glass crashed onto the floor where the servant had just cleaned.

The servant quietly picked up the broken glass.

When Gloria came over, she saw the mess.

“Leave here,” Gloria said in a bad tone to the servant.

Annie didn’t say anything, and the servant left.

Gloria walked out of the mess and sat down on the couch across from Annie. The gauze on Annie’s face was oozing blood.

“How did you hurt your face?” Gloria thought Charlotte hit Annie.
