“You will stay in this room during your stay in the hospital. It is provided along with everything you will need for your daily life.”

“A-awesome…!”

The room in which I was hospitalized was sadly larger than the one in the apartment I originally shared with Saika, and the floor doesn’t even creak.

“You must be tired. Take the rest of the day off. We’ll start the examination tomorrow. Also, the box I gave you has a variety of English learning materials in it, so take advantage of it.”

That being said, I opened the box.

Indeed, it contained many materials that could be used for self-study.

It also includes an interesting English novel to keep you from getting bored.

But pointing to a foreign object that I couldn’t help but notice, I asked.

“… What’s about these large candies in the box?”

“It’s called Ramune Cigarettes. Cigarette means tobacco. In other words, it’s a tube of Ramune made to resemble a cigarette, and it’s very tasty when eaten.”

“No, I know that candy. I used to carry them around and eat them when I was a kid too. I just wondered why they were there with my study materials.”

“The ingredients in Ramune are glucose, cornstarch, and citric acid. It’s just right for studying and very tasty.”

“Huh…”

“Licking it will make you salivate, and it will ease your thirst. And it’s very tasty.”

“I understand very well that it is delicious.”

“That’s good.”

Apparently, she wanted to evangelize this candy to me.

What can I say? The “pressure” was amazing.

Kashiwagi-san walked out, leaving me in the room.

“Tomorrow the inspection will start at 7:00 in the morning. Get a good night’s sleep and don’t oversleep. Hope you sleep well.”

With a flutter of her hand in farewell, Kashiwagi-san closed the door.
