He smiled smugly. He dismissed the other servants before murmuring warmly, “What happened to our little Mu’er? Could it be that our kiss in the washing room has made you really uncomfortable?”

Ye Mu jumped out of the blanket and angrily retorted, “How did you not make any sound at all when you walked in?!”

Mo Linyuan raised his eyebrows slightly, “I was walking very loudly but… I’m afraid someone’s loud heartbeat made it so that she cannot hear anything else probably?”

Now, her face and neck turned red. Mo Linyuan thought that most likely even her skin under her clothes were also red.

Mo Linyuan had really hit the target with his deductions. Right then, Ye Mu didn’t know how to confront him and simply sat motionlessly on the bed.

“W-What happened to y-your princess then?” she stuttered. Although she knew Mo Linyuan couldn’t have changed his mind during the timeframe of her absence, she wanted to hear him say it directly to her.

Mo Linyuan walked over and cupped her face, “My princess? But… wouldn’t my princess be you…?”

How shameless! He is still trying to charm me!

Ye Mu moved away from his hand, “Don’t avoid the subject!”

Mo Linyuan’s phoenix eyes blinked before he replied laughingly, “Of course I had to refuse the agreement. I already have my own little jar of vinegar* with me. Although she is unaware of it yet, I cannot hurt her in that way.”
