Don't Hug Me I'm Scared {Billie Eilish}

A/N: hi. I'm not writing smut for Bil until after December 18th, if even then. Thank u next.

Dahlia's POV

************

"Rise and fucking shine! It is Sunday, which means that it is no longer Saturday, which means that today is tomorrow because yesterday I said that tomorrow, which happens to be today, we were going on a date!"

I woke up to the sound of Billie's confusing words and her hitting the hell out of me with a pillow.

I turned to look at the clock and groaned as I noticed that it was literally four in the morning. "Girl, you must be stupid if you think—"

"Now, now, my sweet Dahlia, we mustn't call any names." She grinned. "I know it's early, but trust me, you're gonna enjoy this."

"You want me to leave this big, fluffy, warm bed and get dressed to go out...At four in the morning? I think the fuck not, you trick ass bitch."

I turned to bury my face into my pillow and sighed as the warmth of it engulfed my cold face.

I felt her climbing off of the bed and I smiled, thinking I'd won as she didn't say anything else.

Wrong.

She yanked the covers off of me and pulled me off the bed. I hit the floor with a thud, but I was only down there for a few seconds before she got me up and placed her arms under my armpits, dragging me to the bathroom.

"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you—" I chanted as she turned on the sink and picked up my toothbrush. She put some toothpaste onto it and forced my mouth open, messily brushing my teeth for me.

Fine. If I've got to be up, I guess it's better that she does all the work anyway.

I let her struggle to brush my teeth, wash my face, and get my clothes off all while holding me so I didn't fall down because I refused to stand up straight.

"I know I said at prom that I wanted to be with you forever, but if this is how it's gonna be when you get old and I have to take care of you, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that we're gonna break up when we turn sixty, tops." She grumbled.

"You're a month older than me, punk ass, if anyone is gonna have to take care of anyone it's gonna be me." I rolled my eyes. "And by the way, you undressing me is probably the highlight of your damn day."

She pulled off my bra and smiled, licking her lips. "No arguments here, mama."

She picked me up and carried me back to our room and then tossed me onto the bed before going over to my suitcase and taking out the same bikini from yesterday. I sent her a look and she smirked.

"I told you I was gonna plan something that required you to wear this."

She slid the bikini on me and then pulled on my hands to get me up. "Even though it's early, it's not that cold out, but I've still got some blankets and stuff in my car."

She handed me a pair of her Gucci slides and I stared at them dumbly.

She rolled her eyes before bending down to put them on me. "Billie, these are expensive! What if I—"

"I'll buy some new ones."

She changed into a black bathing suit and threw some shorts on over it before grabbing our phones and her keys.

"Don't I need to put something on over this?" I questioned as she began dragging me to the door. "No, you'll be fine in just that, and I've got some extra clothes in the car just in case."

We were completely silent as we walked out of the house and got into her car. I'm not a very talkative person first thing in the morning, and she, thankfully, respects that.

She put my seatbelt on for me once I was in the car and then closed the door before jogging around to her side. Once she was in and buckled up, she turned to me and handed me a blindfold. I sent her a look. "Bitch, I swear to god, if you kill me--"

"Then you'll be dead and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it." She smirked.

"You right."

I put the blindfold on, sighing in content as it acted as an eye mask. I leaned my head on the seat and reached over, blindly trying to find her hand.

"Girl, you are literally grabbing my pus--"

"Give me your fucking hand then!" I laughed.

She gave me her hand and I closed my eyes. "Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

"Is it far away?"

"Not that far."

"Do our friends know we left?"

"Of course."

"Are we--"

"Go to sleep!" She shouted. I pouted for a few moments before deciding to do just that.

***

I don't know how long I was knocked out for, but I know that I was knocked out. When I woke up, I grunted as I realized that whatever was underneath me was harder than the seat in Billie's car.

I sat up slowly and scratched my head, gasping as I realized that I had opened my eyes but still couldn't see a damn thing. I thought for a second that I'd gone blind, but then I remembered the blindfold I'd put on.

I yanked it off quickly and regretted it as the sunlight filled my eyes. Everything turned red and yellow for a while, and I only grew more confused as I realized that I was moving.

But, like, I wasn't moving.

But I was moving, though.

Then I realized that I was hearing water swooshing around, then my eyes slowly adjusted to the light and I looked around. All blue, sky and water.

I looked down and patted the floor, noticing that we were on wood...A boat. We're on a big ass boat.

"Aw, fuck," I mumbled as I laid back down and covered my eyes with the palms of my hands. "Shit."

I have watched the titanic way too many times to go out like this. I know better.

"Dahlia, you good?"

I turned to face Billie as I heard her voice and squinted at her as I noticed her squinting at me. She'd clearly just woken up herself.

"We're on a boat." I informed her.

"Yeah, I know," She chuckled. "You like it?"

"If we hit an iceberg I won't share my door with you, but yeah, I like it." I smiled.

She sat up and scratched her own head for a few moments before letting out a small yawn as I looked around the whole boat. It was nice and really spacious and fancy looking and...I've never been on a boat like this in my life.

When I was a little bit younger, grandpa used to take me and my siblings out on his boat whenever we went to visit him, but his boat was small and we all had to squish together to fit on it. But this? I've never been on anything like this.

"How much did this cost?" I narrowed my eyes at her. She blinked at me slowly and looked down, playing with the few rings she'd put on. "Two dollars."

"Billie—"

"It doesn't matter how much it costs!" She pouted, sliding over to me. "All that matters is that we're together alone on a boat, and we're both already half naked so we might as well just go ahead and get fully naked and fuck!"

"You're really romantic when you wanna be," I patted her cheek and stood up, looking around for a few moments. "Is somebody driving this thing?" I asked quickly after thinking about it.

"Nah, we're just letting the boat take us wherever it wants to and hoping for the best." She sent me a sarcastic smile and I flipped her off.

She stood up as well and lead me over to the couch. She sat down and pulled me onto her lap quickly, resting her head on my back. "I hope you like it, baby. I mean, I guess there's not much that you can do on a boat, but I just thought it'd be nice to spend all day alone. Just me and you out on the water, nobody around to bother us."

I smiled largely and readjusted my position so that I was sitting sideways. I wrapped an arm around her neck and gave her a peck on the lips before staring at her once again. God damn, she's really beautiful.

"Billie, I love it! This is really relaxing and I'm glad we get to spend time together. Just me and you." I repeated.

"Good," She smiled. "I packed a fancy breakfast for us. Give me ten minutes to set it up and then we can dig in?"

"Sounds good." I grinned.

***

"Let me drive the boat."

I turned my head quickly to look at Billie and she gave me a glare. "I told you to stop saying that." She grumbled.

"But I didn't." I smirked.

She sighed before turning to face forward again and I did the same. We sat in silence only for a moment before she spoke again. "It's been two hours, where the hell are the fish? I thought you said you knew how to fish."

"I told you to stop saying that." I rolled my eyes. "The fish will come when they come. Your voice is probably scaring them away."

"It's not like I'm screaming at the top of my lungs. You're just making excuses because you don't actually know how to fish."

"Jesus, it's not like we're gonna have to eat them to survive or something! We're just catching them and releasing them again, it is not that serious." I rolled my eyes.

We were silent again for a while as we stared out at the water. There were fishing poles on the boat and I told Billie I knew how to fish because of all the times I'd gone with my grandpa, so then she suggested that we try to catch some. She told the guy that was driving the boat to stop it so that we could try to catch something, and that was a little over two hours ago.

We haven't caught a single thing.

Maybe I'm not as good at this as I thought I was, or maybe it's just a slow day and the fishies are all somewhere sleeping.

"Oh my fucking god!" Billie screamed loudly, throwing her head back. "Where the hell are the fish?!"

Or maybe they're smart and they're hiding from Billie.

"If I could breathe underwater I'd jump into the ocean and hide from your ass too," I grumbled. "This isn't working. We should do something else."

"There's nothing else to do except for fuck and we've already done that three times." She mumbled.

I rolled my eyes and pulled my line in before standing up. "There's plenty to do."

"Like what?" She gave me a dumb look as I put my pole back where I got it from and then put my hands on my hips. I thought for a moment before shrugging my shoulders. "We can do yoga."

"Isn't that...exercise?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

She crinkled up her nose and shook her head. "No, thank you. I don't feel like being healthy today, and besides, I don't know anything about yoga."

"That's why it's gonna be super fun!" I smiled as I went to her big bag and pulled out two blankets. These will have to be our yoga mats. "I don't know much about doing yoga either. It's already gonna be a challenge for us, but it'll be an even bigger challenge because we're gonna be moving. Boat yoga is probably gonna be the best yoga we'll ever do!"

I laid the blankets down and then pulled her up from her spot. She went to tell the driver to start the boat back up and then we each stood on one of the blankets and I took my phone out to find a yoga video on YouTube.

Once I found one I put my phone down in front of us and we both began trying to follow the instructions that the lady in the video was giving, but we sucked. Just as expected.

"I'm going to break my neck and I'm going to sue you for it." Billie grumbled as she sat down and tried to put one of her legs above her head. I don't know why she was doing that, the pose we were supposed to be trying to do required us to stand up.

I completely ignored her and continued trying to do the correct pose, but I slipped and fell down, bumping into her. She grunted as she fell over and then kicked my leg, causing me to wince.

"Ow, bitch! I didn't do it on purpose!" I punched her shoulder and tried to crawl away before she could retaliate, but she caught my ankle and dragged me back. I squirmed and let out a small scream as she slapped my thigh.

"Well, too bad! I was doing really good with my pose until you messed it up!" She yelled. I kicked at her stomach and then stood up quickly before she could grab my ankle again. "You weren't even doing the right pose!" I yelled.

So, we did yoga for all of ten minutes before we ended up just chasing each other around trying to beat each other up. Then we ended up playing slap war, then we pretended to sword fight, and then we wrestled.

No, nothing nasty. I mean we actually wrestled.

She really decided it'd be a good idea to challenge me to an actual wrestling match in the middle of an ocean, on a boat with hard ass floors, and knowing full well that I used to watch hella wwe. This had to be the worst idea she ever had.

"Let me go you fucking maniac!" She screamed.

"Tap out!"

"No!"

"Well, then I'm not gonna let you go!" I pulled her leg even harder and she let out a yelp. I'm currently sitting on her ass and trying to rip her entire leg off.

"You're hurting me!"

"That's the point!" I cackled.

"I would never do this to you, you bitch!"

"You fucking body slammed me just two minutes ago! Twice! And you sat on my head too!"

"Well, that was different!" She howled.

"How was that different?"

"You were the one in pain and not me!"

I yanked her leg harder and she let out a screech before squirming around. It didn't help a damn thing. "If I say I'm sorry will you let me the fuck go?" She questioned.

"No, I'll let you go when you tap out."

"I'm not tapping out to you! You're a weakling. I can't tap out to y—OW!" She screamed as I pulled her leg tighter.

I smirked. "Bro, I think I could do this all day long."

She tapped out a few minutes later after realizing that her begging wasn't going to make me let her go. I got off of her a few moments after she did and watched as she rolled around on the ground, rubbing her leg and pretending to be more hurt than she really was.

"I think you broke it," She lied, pouting. "I think you owe me...A massage." She grinned.

"I won the match. If anyone owes anyone a massage it's you."

"Please?" She gave me the puppy dog eyes.

I sighed.

Fifteen minutes later, I was sitting on her butt rubbing massage oil all over her back.

"Oh my god, that feels so good, Dahlia! Yes!" She screeched. I rolled my eyes into the back of my skull and let out the loudest sigh that I could.

"Girl shut the fuck up!" I huffed before letting out a snort. I'd slapped her back and it had made a funny sound. I did it again and let out a small giggle before continuously slapping the shit out of her back.

"Bitch, stop it!" She squirmed as she tried to get away from me. "Damn, we can't do shit right like normal people!"

***

"No fair

You really know how to make me cry

When you give me those ocean eyes

I'm scared

I've never fallen from quite this high

Falling into your ocean eyes

Those ocean eyes."

I pursed my lips and looked away from her after she finished singing, letting my head fall to rest on her shoulder. She snickered as I tried to slyly wipe away my tears. "Shut the hell up. I'm just drunk and high and emotional." I mumbled.

"No, my voice is so beautiful that it moved you to tears." She said knowingly. I'm not looking at her but I know for a fact that she's smirking.

"I will rip your vocal cords out." I threatened.

Well, how does she expect me to not cry? I mean, she just serenaded me with the most beautiful song of hers that I've ever heard, and it was really fitting for the situation. We're literally sitting here watching the sunset while we're on a boat that happens to be gliding along the beautiful ocean waters.

It's so damn peaceful out here, and I've had the best day I've had in a long, long time. The air is cold and the wind is making me feel at peace, the few birds we still hear singing only made her own singing sound better. Everything is orange and blue right now and this sunset is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And the cherry on top is that I get to sit here wrapped up in a warm blanket and my girlfriend's arms while I get to witness it.

This has been the most peaceful, relaxing day I've probably ever had in my life. No anxiety, no worries, no negativity. No thoughts. My mind was blank, not in a bad way, just in a...'I don't have shit to worry about right now except for this beautiful moment' type of way.

This is bliss. Pure bliss.

And it's all cause of her.

I mean, sure, I could've rented out a boat myself and enjoyed the day alone, I guess, but it never would've been this calming and this enjoyable if it wasn't for her. Being with her—just being in her presence—is always the highlight of my day. I always feel my best when I'm with her.

"You really are drunk," She whispered after a few moments, letting out a quiet chuckle. "I told you not to have so much wine."

"It was red wine! That's really, really fancy! Plus, it was expensive. We had to finish it!" I slurred before letting out a small laugh. "You're high as shit, so you can't talk."

"Yeah," She rasped. "I guess I am."

We both giggled at nothing for a few minutes and she rested her head on top of mine.

She brought us a fancy ass dinner too. I thought the breakfast was insane, but it had nothing on the dinner. She got me steak and she had a fancy looking vegan dish, and she brought two bottles of red wine too.

It was a bad idea to drink both, but hey, why the hell not?

She brought us chocolate covered strawberries and some brownies too. She brought the strawberries mostly because she wanted this to be like that one scene in high school musical. I had no complaints.

She also happened to bring a blunt with her because getting high on a boat has been one of her life goals since she was ten years old, apparently.

I whined as she stood up and watched as she walked over to get her phone and headphones. She came back right after and laid down, pulling me on top of her chest after doing so. She handed me an earbud and turned her music on shuffle.

One of the most peaceful songs one could probably hear while drunk and high on a boat, 'Home' by The Jungle Giants, came on and I sighed as I pushed myself even closer to her.

We drifted off to sleep after just a few moments.

It was about an hour later when we were woken up by the ship captain. We'd made it back to the dock and now it was time for us to go.

We both sleepily gathered up all our stuff and began walking back to her car, neither of us uttering a word until we got there.

"Well, we're both under the influence and too groggy to drive...So...I really didn't think that part through, did I?" She mumbled sleepily. I grinned as I opened the back door and crawled into the car, allowing myself to fall over her seats and into her little 'trunk thingy' as she likes to call it. I waved for her to come in and she did, closing the door behind her and then locking it.

"We can sleep here tonight." I whispered as I scooted over to give her some room. She laid down next to me and we stared at each other for a few moments.

"You sure?" She asked, her eyes already fluttering closed.

"Yeah." I smiled.

"I love you, Dahlia Doe."

"I love you Billie Eilish Pirate B—"

"Shut the fuck up."
