Don't Hug Me I'm Scared {Billie Eilish}

A/N: bitch I'm rlly bout to start doing OOTD's for Dahlia cause I have so many clothing pics in my phone that I'm ready to get out 💀

Dahlia's outfit:

Dahlia's POV

************

"HEY, SKINNY YOUNG JIGGY IN THE CITY, YUH

HEY, AY, BE MY BABY GIRL, YOU HELLA PRETTY, YUH, YUH, YUH

MOTOCROSS DOWN THE STREET TO THIS BEAT

I'M POPPING A WHEELIE (SKRT!)"

Billie scream sang with the song as she drove the golf cart in all types of zig zags. I did not know golf carts could pick up this much speed, but I certainly wish they didn't.

"Bitch, slow the fuck down!" I screamed as I clung to my seat.

"Oh, please, this is nothing compared to how you drive!" She laughed loudly and sped up a little bit.

"Okay, but when I'm driving I'm on an actual road, not at risk of driving us into a fucking pond!" I screamed as she swerved quickly to avoid the water that she hadn't been paying attention to previously.

We had a lot of fun at the beach yesterday, but we didn't wanna go back there today. We needed something else to do, though, so we planned to spend a couple hours at a nearby golf course, but now I hate that we decided to come here.

Rather than actually golfing, Billie and I decided to take a ride in a golf cart. I didn't know that she was gonna drive like a fucking maniac the whole time, though.

"Oh my god, watch out for that fucking kid!" I screamed. She was getting closer and closer to what looked like a twelve-year-old child, and she was making no effort to slow down or turn.

"I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY THE REAL LIFE VERSION OF GTA!" She cackled maniacally and I reached over to turn the wheel quickly, causing us to swerve again.

"Billie, stop this fucking cart right the fuck now or I'm just going to tuck and roll and hope for the best!"

She let out a dramatic sigh and drove the cart in a circle a few times before slamming on the break, causing us both to fall forward. I panted and squeezed my eyes shut, trying to calm my heartbeat and adjust to the sudden stillness.

"You're dramatic as fuck." She mumbled. I glared at her and shakily got out of the cart, almost falling down as I did. Everything was spinning and my eyes were blurry as shit.

"I think I'm gonna be sick." I grumbled.

"You're probably pregnant. You've been riding my dick a lot lately." She grinned. I turned to walk away from her without bothering to reply.

"FOUR!"

I turned around slowly after hearing Cadence's voice from who knows how far away. I let out a screech as I fell down to the ground, trying to avoid the golf ball that was flying right at my head.

I let out a small breath as I narrowly avoided it and grunted as I stood up and started stomping toward a laughing Cadence.

"Hey, before you start yelling, I said four! You should've moved your ass!" She cackled.

Golfing is not for me. Honestly, truly. We've been here for like two hours and it's been—pun completely intended—a series of unfortunate events.

I walked away from Cadence and headed toward Caden who was just a few feet away. He's been playing with Denny and Ori this whole time.

"Hey, D." He greeted me.

"Hey! What's up with Ori and my brother? Are they getting along pretty well?" I asked curiously. I've been doing some thinking and even though it's pretty gross that my friend is trying to date my brother, I guess I shouldn't be too offended by it because Billie was Denny's friend before she was my girlfriend so...I guess if he and Ori start dating we'll be even?

He was about to answer, but he stopped himself when Ori started speaking. "You're really good at this, Denver. Do you think you could help me out? I'm not sure I'm holding my golf club quite right." Ori backed up so that he was right up against Denny and I gagged.

Denver stared at him blankly. "I just saw you get a hole in one from like forty feet away. Dude, if you want me to grope you just say so."

"Well...I would be honored to have you grope me." Ori grinned.

"Follow me." Denny gestured for him to follow and Ori clapped and eagerly followed him as he walked off. We watched as they headed to a nearby golf cart, got in, and began to drive away from all the rest of us.

"...They're getting along great." Caden smirked.

***

"I'm wearing a fucking thrasher shirt, Billie. Of course I'm not joking." I stared at her seriously as I gestured once again toward the skateboard.

"I...I—" She cut herself off and slowly stood on the skateboard in front of us.

We all left the golf course about an hour ago and somehow ended up in a nearby skate park. Caden, Ken, and Julia all rented out scooters, everyone else besides me got roller skates, and I got myself a skateboard.

Billie had made the mistake of laughing at me. She didn't know that I knew how to skate and thought that I'd end up falling on my ass or something. I spent fifteen minutes doing all types of fancy ass tricks that I learned when I was younger and she watched with her mouth wide open the whole time.

After I finished, I told her that I was going to teach her how to skate, and now here we are.

"Lots of people wear thrasher shirts and that doesn't mean they know how to skate, you know!" She tried to talk herself out of it as I began to slowly push her. She kept almost falling which was funny because literally all she needed to do was stand on the board and I was doing everything else for her.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know you knew how to skate! Please forgive me and let me off of this thing!" She screamed.

"You're being so extra," Bea snorted as she came to skate next to her. "It's not like you're gonna die. Dahlia's holding you and she's pushing you at, like, negative two miles per hour."

Billie tried to shove her away and ended up almost falling on her face, but I quickly caught her and stood her up straight again. "Billie, remember the time you tried to teach me how to ride a bike?" I smirked.

"It was terrible. How come you know how to skateboard but you don't know how to ride a bike? It's much simpler, all you have to do is pedal!"

I rolled my eyes and began to push her a little faster.

"H-Hey, you're not gonna let me go like I did you are you?" She chuckled nervously.

"Oh, you mean when I begged you not to let me go and I ended up falling into a fucking thorn bush?"

"Um...Yeah." She mumbled. I rolled my eyes and pushed her quicker, giggling as she clung to my arm. "You're better than me Dahlia! Don't let me go!"

"I won't let you go, Jack." I joked.

"Thank god." She breathed.

"Sike, bitch."

When we were in a clear area where I knew she wouldn't get hurt or hurt anyone else, I let go of her and watched as she screamed, waving her arms around before throwing herself off the skateboard as quickly as she could. I snickered and shook my head at her as she slowly stood back up and looked at me.

"I could've gotten severely injured! I could've scraped my knee! You said you weren't gonna let go!" She screamed.

I shrugged. "Rose said she wouldn't let go of Jack, but guess what?"

***

We spent most of the day out of the house. After leaving the skatepark we went to a nearby arcade, then we went to play paintball since us girls missed out on that the last time. Then we went rock climbing which was fun because Caden spent the majority of the time hanging upside down in his harness and screaming at the top of his lungs for someone to save him.

After that, we got frozen yogurt and decided to come back home. It's about 9 pm now and we all decided it'd be cool to go for a somewhat late night swim in the nice pool attached to the house.

"Bilboa!" I screamed at the top of my lungs despite the fact that she was just a few feet away from me, lying on the bed. She looked up from her phone and raised a brow at me. "Which one?" I asked, holding up two swimsuits. She pointed at the white one, probably just because it's a bikini and the other one is a one piece.

I went into the bathroom to change quickly and then came back out, running over to the bed and plopping down on top of her. She grunted and let out a weird laugh as I placed kisses all over her face.

"You have to change." I told her quietly after she went back to scrolling through her phone.

"I don't wanna," She whined. "I think I just want to stay up here with you. Can we do that?"

"Sure, but why'd you let me change if you wanted to stay up here?" I laughed.

She smirked. "Because you should wear a bikini all day every day whether you're going swimming or not."

"I'm changing into my unicorn onesie, you bitch." I rolled my eyes as I crawled off of the bed.

The next day was the last day at Nana's beach house. We planned to go out and ride go-karts and visit an art museum, but there was a bad thunderstorm which meant that we were stuck inside. I wasn't all that upset about it. I planned to just spend the day with Billie, up in our room sleeping or watching the office or something.

That did not happen.

Billie and I were sleeping soundly one moment and then jolting awake because of the loud screaming we heard the next. We both scrambled to our feet and ran toward the door, thinking something really bad had happened to one of our friends.

We ran all the way to the den, which is where the screaming was coming from and stopped once we saw our friends huddled around something. I sent Billie a weird look before we began walking toward our friends to see what was going on.

"What happened?" Billie asked, causing everybody to jump and shriek once again. She held her hands up in defense as Caden pointed a baseball bat at her. I didn't have time to ask where he got that from before he was yanking us both toward him, hugging us to each of his sides.

"There's something else in this house. Something besides us and our friends." He whispered. My eyes widened. "Wha—You guys think somebody else is here? Like, a robber or something?!"

"No, not somebody. Something. Look." He pointed his bat toward the thing everyone was huddled around. I stepped forward to peer over Ori's shoulder and narrowed my eyes.

"That's a broken glass." I told him.

"Exactly. I know it is." He nodded. "This house is haunted."

I blinked at him a few times before sighing and crossing my arms over my chest. "So...You think because there's a broken glass on the floor...The house is haunted?"

"Nobody was down here when it was broken. We heard a loud breaking sound and came out of our rooms, and since I have this baseball bat, I led everyone down here to check it out, and there it was. A fucking glass smashed on the floor. There were no glasses left out, and there was nobody down here to break a glass in the first place, so what does that tell you?"

"That you're stupid as hell," Billie grumbled. "And that somebody left out a glass and didn't remember it and since there's a whole thunderstorm going on—"

"One might think that was the case, but let's step over here, shall we?" Jessica led us a few steps away and gestured toward one of the storage closet doors. "What is that?" She questioned.

"A door." Billie answered.

"Yes, and what is the door doing?" She raised a brow at me and I side eyed her before looking at Billie and then the door and then Jessica once again.

"...Being a door?" I mumbled.

"Wrong! It's opening and closing, see?"

Billie and I stared at the door and, yeah, it would slowly move forward to close and then backward once again, but it's not like it was slamming open and closed. It was just shifting ever so slightly every now and then.

"It's probably the wind—"

"What wind?!" Jessica screamed, cutting Billie off. We both jumped and Billie's eyes widened as Jessica stepped closer to her. She grabbed Billie's hand and made her hold her index finger up. "Lick it! Lick your finger!" She demanded.

Billie slowly did as told and Jessica nodded. "What do you feel? Do you feel any wind?!"

"Um...I guess not..." Billie mumbled.

Jessica nodded again. "That's what I thought! We don't have wind, we have ghosts!"

"I really feel like you guys are overreacting," I sighed. "I don't think we have ghosts just because—"

"Come look at this." Cora waved us over to where she was standing and we trudged over there. She pointed toward the TV and gave us a look. "The channels. Are changing. By themselves. Look, there's the remote on the couch, and nobody's touching it!"

We looked at the TV which was changing channels by itself, but I'm sure that's just something happening because of the bad storm everyone seemingly keeps forgetting about.

"This is too much evidence, Dahlia! We can't deny that there are ghosts in here after what we've seen!" Cadence exclaimed.

"It's, like, eight in the morning. I don't give a shit if there is ghosts, I want to go back to sleep!" I whined, stomping my foot.

"Yeah, same." Julia nodded, coming to stand beside me. "If there are ghosts here I'm sure they won't mind waiting until some time after noon to haunt us."

"You guys think this is some type of joke, huh?" Bea narrowed her eyes. "I don't know about you guys, but I fully believe in everything and anything supernatural. I'm not trying to play with no demons. You know if some fuckery happens with these ghostie assholes, Ken, Heidi and I will be the first to die because we're black. Then it's Liza because she's brown, and then maybe Julia cause she's Asian."

"We believe in supernatural shit, but you guys are being hella extra," Billie laughed. "I mean, this isn't any hard evidence or anything, it's just a few—"

Billie was cut off by the loud boom of thunder and a bright flash of lightning that caused all our friends to scream. The TV went off, along with the lights. The power had gone out.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my—" Kai sat down in the middle of the floor, brought her knees to her chest and covered her ears with her hands as she began rocking back and forth, chanting.

I wanted to be a good friend and go over to comfort her, but I was too busy laughing at her to do that.

Another crash of thunder and flash of lightning and the lights were flickering back on, along with the TV.

I gestured toward it and smiled at Cora. "See, it's not changing channels by itself anymore."

"Look at what show it landed on." She muttered.

Ghost hunters.

I sighed and rolled my eyes before throwing my hands up in exasperation. It's really looking like I won't be able to go back to sleep any time soon, so I guess I'll just go fix myself some breakfast.

"Anyone else want some cereal or something?" I questioned as I headed toward the kitchen.

"How could you eat at a time like this?!" Claudia questioned. Finneas snickered as he rubbed her shoulder comfortingly.

Denny and Gigi followed me into the kitchen, saying that they'd help me get some food for everyone.

"Everyone freak out about ghosts, but there are no ghosts." Gigi said, looking down at me. I gestured for him to grab the cereal off the top of the fridge for me and smiled at him once he did.

"Yeah, but they'll probably calm down after a while." I told him.

"I hope not. I cuddle Cadence when she scared." He grinned.

Denny grabbed himself a bagel and shoved half of it into his mouth before speaking. "I think we could have some fun with this."

"Fun?" I raised my brows. "What do you mean?"

"Billie, you, Gigi, Julia, Finneas and me seem to be the only ones who aren't scared that there's an actual ghost in this house. So, maybe the six of us can spend our last day in this beach house scaring the shit out of our friends." He smirked.

"They're already pretty terrified, Denny. They're our friends and we shouldn't mess with them like that. I don't know, it just seems kind of cruel..." I shook my head and snickered to myself mid-sentence. "Oh, I can't even keep a straight face. Yeah, let's fuck with them."

***

"Well, hell, I told y'all men bring ghosts with them wherever they go. You know how many men I done brought into that beach house? I'd be surprised if there weren't at least three demons in there."

The sound of Nana's cackling filled the quiet room as we all listened to her carefully. Denny had suggested that I call her and ask if there were any ghosts in here. We both knew that she'd say yes since she believes that men bring them wherever they go.

"W-We need to go home now. Like right now. We need to get out of here!" Heidi screeched, clinging to Bea. "What if there is a demon in this house? What if it tries to get inside of one of us?!"

"Well, I know one thing. Nothing and nobody is about to be inside my girl except for me." Caden grumbled. I choked on the apple juice I was drinking and Billie patted my back quickly as she tried to hide her own laughter.

"We can't go anywhere in this fucking storm! We're trapped!" Jessica cried.

"Oh, I'm just so terrified right now," Orb sighed as he scooted closer to Denny. He smirked up at him and batted his eyelashes. "Hold me?"

Denny chuckled as he wrapped an arm around Ori's shoulder and then began talking. "Nana, I'm sure it's nothing. You're here all the time, aren't you? Nothing weird ever happens while you're here!"

"Well, who the hell said that?" She shouted through the phone. "Hell, while I'm there all kinds of weird shit happens. Just the other day I was soaking in the bath, half asleep while I was listening to my radio, and I reached over to grab my whiskey bottle and let me tell y'all, it was empty. Empty! Now, I just had a fit when I saw that! I'd only drank about half of it, it shouldn't have been empty!"

"Are you sure you just didn't drink more than you thought you did, Nana?" Cadence asked.

"Honey, I don't keep track of much but there are three things in this world that I do keep track of. 1. My money. 2. My hoes. 3. My alcohol."

"Your Nana has hoes?" Billie tried to whisper.

"Oh, you damn right I do!" Nana let out a loud laugh. "I have to keep a couple just in case I get bored! Hey, wasn't that the voice of that pretty girl Dahlia's with? What's her name? Britney?"

"Billie." Billie corrected her.

"Billie, right! You'll have to forgive me, honey. It took me ten years to remember Denny's name and twelve to remember Dahlia's! And don't tell the other one, but I'll tell you, I ain't known her name the whole time she's been on the earth. She's a pretty little thing, though!"

"It's Cora, Nana, and thank you." Cora smirked.

"Mhm. But anyway, so my alcohol just magically disappeared and I made sure I didn't spill any! Then another time, I was snoozing on the couch and when I woke up the first thing I saw was a big black figure standing right by my feet. It was just standing there staring at me, and so I stared at it and it stared at me and I stared right back at it and it—"

"That could've been sleep paralysis, Nana." Billie told her.

"Like hell it was! It took a step closer to me and I got up and ran my ass out of the house faster than I ever ran before, and you know I used to be on the track team back in the day!"

"Really?" Bea grinned. She's been wanting to try out for track for a while and she plans to do it next year.

"Mhm! It was me and three other girls, we were the only ones who wanted to do it! Rosemary Harmon went to a different school, you know, and I beat her ass every time we raced! Her little nubs could never keep up with me and my long legs."

"Can we come stay at your house? I mean, we can't go back home right now, but—"

"Oh, you kids know I love you all and enjoy your company, but I'll be damned if I let you stay in my house. An hour or two long visit is one thing, an overnight visit is another. I need my me time, you know? Can't dance around the house naked if there's a bunch of teenagers watching. That's a scandal!"

"That's okay, Nana. I'm sure we'll be fine here." I smiled, nudging Billie in the side. She stood up and let out a loud gasp, pointing across the room. "Did you guys see that?! That chair just moved a little all by itself!"

"Oh my god we're gonna die!" Julia screamed dramatically. "I didn't believe in ghosts until right this second, but now I totally do!" She winked at me before pulling a scared facial expression once again.

This is gonna be fun.
