"A school bus?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I gawked at the bus parked in front of my house. I was the last to be picked up, so all our friends were waving at me happily from inside the bus.

"Do you love it or do you love it?" Billie smirked as she threw an arm over my shoulder.

"Are you kidding me? I mean—I can't lie, it's pretty cool, but where the fuck did you get a school bus and why is it neon green?" I questioned.

"I bought it on eBay!" She grinned. "You know they sell school buses on eBay? That shits crazy! Anyway, I was just on there typing in random shit one day and I was like 'hmm, I wonder if they sell school buses' and apparently they do! So I decided to buy one because why the hell not? Then I had it painted neon green because I know that's one of your favorite colors, and check this out!" She pulled me over to the other side of the bus and I gasped as I noticed my name written in neon blue bubble letters.

"I named her Dahlia, of course." She chuckled. "I figured this would come in handy on this trip. I mean, it's better than taking a lot of cars, and since there's seventeen of us, obviously we needed something that could fit a lot of people. So, my mom was totally wrong! This was worth the money...Maybe she's right about the porta-potty I bought, though. I doubt I'm ever using that."

"I can't believe you bought a fucking school bus," I laughed, still shocked. "And I can't believe it has my name on it. This is pretty sick!"

"I knew you'd think so!" She fist pumped before walking around the bus with me again. We gathered up all my bags and carried them onto the bus, and the first thing I noticed was that there was an actual bus driver sitting in the driver's seat.

"This is Cooper. He needed some extra cash so he agreed to drive us everywhere." She explained.

"Billie, how much—"

"Two dollars!" She cut me off. "It's fine, don't worry about it, I got a great deal!"

"Did you really?" I sighed.

"Yeah! Since his bus driving license is currently suspended, he only charged me half—"

"What?!" I yelled.

"I'm kidding!" She snickered.

I greeted everyone as we dragged all my bags to the back of the bus and threw them on the back seats with all the other ones.

After that, we sat in the seat next to Caden and Ken and in front of Cadence and Gigi.

"I never thought I'd be happy to sit in a school bus!" Caden grinned and let out a girlish squeal before clearing his throat. "It's pretty cool, I guess." He shrugged.

"Today is the first day of hot girl summer!" Cadence smirked. We both squealed and bounced around in our seats.

"Off we go!" I screamed after a moment.

We're starting off our summer with a three-day camping trip! We're driving about three hours away from my house and we're gonna sleep in a forest none of us have ever been in before...I'm excited and terrified at the same time. Hopefully, none of us die.

"Okay, I'm gonna tell you one more time, Liza." Cora sighed. "We cannot start a fire just by rubbing two sticks together."

"At least I'm trying to start a fire instead of just sitting around doing nothing." Liza spat.

"Well, I'm sitting around doing nothing because it's June. Who the hell needs to start a fire in June?"

The ride here went smoothly and traveling in a school bus was fun for us. We found our camping spot about two hours ago and set up our tents which was easy enough, to my surprise. Now we're kind of all...Wondering what to do next.

We wanted our camping trip to be a totally 'in the moment' kind of thing. We didn't plan to do anything in particular. All we knew was that electronics were totally not allowed, and we're supposed to be just...Living in the moment.

But living in the moment is apparently really boring. There's nothing but trees surrounding us, there aren't even animals around, not even birds.

Sure we can just sit and talk to each other for a while, but...How long is that really gonna keep us occupied?

"Guys, stop bickering." I sighed. "It's too nice out here for any negativity! I mean, just smell the fresh air! Look at all the greenery! Feel the dirt underneath your fingernails! It's...amazing!" I tried to encourage them but they both just glared at me.

"This is boring and you know it is. I can't believe you guys let Gigi talk you into this." Cora grumbled.

"Hey, he gave us the puppy dog eyes! It was out of our hands!" Caden held his hands up in defense. "Besides, he's super excited about this part of the trip so you guys need to quit whining! I think this will be a lot of fun. For us manly men at least." He smirked.

Billie raised her brows.

"Manly men?" She scoffed. He nodded quickly. "Mhm. See, you girls may be miserable during this little trip since you're not used to being out in nature, doing manly shit...and shit...but us men—"

"Oh my god!" Ori shrieked in a high pitched voice as he swatted his hands around wildly. "Oh my god, get it off me!" He screamed.

None of us bothered to help him. He was literally just swatting at a fly.

We all turned to stare at Caden again. "Ugh...He doesn't count." He mumbled. "You'd never catch me or Gigi doing something like tha—" He cut himself off by letting out a loud shriek of his own and stomping on the ground repeatedly. "Fucking fire ants!" He screamed.

"So anyway," Billie rolled her eyes. "Where is Gigi anyway? He's supposed to be out here enjoying the fucking dirt or whatever and he's nowhere to be found."

"I'm pretty sure he and Cadence are still in your bus." Kit pointed at the bus which was rocking from side to side a little. Billie let out a loud gasp before quickly standing up.

"What the hell?! Nobody's supposed to be fucking in there but me and Dahlia!" She screamed. I rolled my eyes before standing up as well.

"Billie, we are not screwing around in that damn bus."

"But...But we were gonna make our first porno in that bus. That's really the whole reason I bought it." She whispered.

"Sorry to crush your dreams," I smirked before grabbing her hand and pulling her in the opposite direction. "We need to find some water."

"Dahlia, we have water bottles." Cora rolled her eyes.

"I mean to swim in, bitch," I grumbled. "I want at least ninety-five percent of my summer to be spent in the water!"

I eagerly dragged Billie along the long trail that was near us. I figured if we followed it for long enough, eventually we'd find some water, and I was right.

It took about five minutes of running, but eventually, we got to a nice sized swimming hole and there happened to be a pretty nice waterfall too.

I quickly tore my dress off, already wearing my swimsuit under it, and then I looked at Billie expectantly.

"I'm not getting in there. What if I drown and die?" She questioned.

"Billie, you know how to swim." I laughed.

"Yeah, in the ocean or in a pool. Not in a gigantic hole of water. How deep is that shit? Are there crocodiles in there?"

"I'll check." I chuckled before dipping my foot in. She quickly snatched me back.

"No, dude, seriously. I'm not gonna let you get in there! It could be dangerous!"

I held my hands up in defense so that she'd let me go, and once she did, I slowly backed away from her and closer to the hole.

"Don't you dare!" She warned.

"Billie, don't be a pussy," I smirked. "You're supposed to be a hardass. Are you telling me you're afraid of a little water?"

"That's exactly what I'm telling you! Weren't you listening!?" She questioned.

I turned around and quickly jumped into the water before she could say anything else. The water was really warm and it felt amazing!

"You damn bitch!" She screamed as I came back up. She was ripping her clothes off frantically, and I couldn't hold in my laugh when I noticed how silly she looked.

"Dude, chill out! The waters fine! It isn't too deep, there's nothing in here, and it feels really good, see?" I splashed her and laughed as she let out a loud gasp and made a funny face.

When she started running closer, I quickly dived under the water and began swimming toward the waterfall. I felt her grab my ankle but I quickly shook her off before continuing to swim.

I came up for air after about a minute and wiped my face before trying to see where Billie was. She popped up beside me a few seconds later and quickly wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Okay, so it is nice in here!" She yelled over the loud waterfall. "But you're still a hoe for jumping in after I told you not to!"

"Yeah, yeah, suck my dick!" I snickered.

"Speaking of, I know you don't think we're gonna just stay in here and swim the whole time without getting up to anything dirty!" She sent me a look.

"Bitch—"

"Seriously, Dahlia, the only thing wetter than this waterfall is your—"

"Billie, are you kidding me?!"

"God made waterfalls so that lesbians could fuck under them! I'm sorry, I don't make the rules!" She screamed.

A/N: this is a short chapter, sorry about that! The next one is longer. Idk when I'll be back to updating as frequently as I used to. I need to get more chapters written before I can do that but I haven't had time to write because shits been pretty hectic. I have to get something done to my mouth at the dentist in a few days (idek what I'm getting done, I'm technically an adult but my mom is keeping track of all that shit and idk a damn thing lmfaoo) so idk if that's gonna cause me to be drugged up for a while while I heal or what lmao. The point is I'm gonna try to get some more chapters written before then but I've got a lot going on so rn I'm not able to update twice a day like I used to, and I really miss that ;(
