Dahlia's POV

************

The ride home from the mall was mostly silent. Everyone just sat there looking at each other and twiddling with their thumbs. The only people talking were Jessica and Kai. Jules had been talking to Madi too, but he was clearly exhausted from the long day and he'd fallen asleep a few minutes into their conversation.

Everyone was sitting in a seat by themselves, nobody willing to sit with anyone else as I guess everyone had something on their minds.

That silence didn't last for long, though.

"Please stop putting your bony little knees in my back." Cora spat as she turned to face Liza. Liza huffed and threw her hands up, already annoyed.

"My knees are not doing anything to you!" She yelled. "You just want something to bitch about. That's literally your favorite past time these days!"

"You damn motherfucking right it is, bitch!" Cora screamed at the top of her lungs. "Your favorite past time these days is cheating on me!"

"I'm not fucking cheating on you, you crazy bitch, and I don't know why you think that I am!"Liza screamed back.

"Damn, y'all don't wanna have this conversation in private?" Billie asked.

"Oh, you shut up! Girlfriend stealer!" Liza huffed.

"What? I-I didn't steal Cora—"

"It's clear that she likes you! She's probably cheating on me with you and she feels guilty about that so she's projecting onto me!"

"What?" I gasped.

"Baby, that's obviously not the case here. Cora is jailbait, bro, I don't want nothing to do with that!" Billie hurriedly defended herself. "She has a crush on me, but—"

"What?! You have a crush on Billie?! Why?!" I asked quickly.

"Wait a minute, fuck you mean, 'why'?" Billie narrowed her eyes at me. I ignored her. "I thought you had a crush on Jules?"

"What? I don't have a crush on Billie or Jules!" Cora shook her head quickly. "I mean, Jules is really cool but I don't have a crush on her! And Billie?! That's disgusting!"

"Why do y'all keep trying me like this, you know damn well I'm like blueface in this bitch. Every woman's fantasy. Period." Billie scoffed.

"Yeah, aight." Cora rolled her eyes. "I was flirting with Jules and Billie earlier because I wanted to make Liza jealous because she and Caden are a thing now and I—"

"A thing? What the fuck do you mean a thing?!" Ken questioned quickly. "I know you're not cheating on me with a fifteen-year-old, you fucking pedophile!" She yelled, turning to send an angry stare at Caden, who was sitting with his mouth wide open, his popcorn falling out of it.

"No, he's not cheating on you with Liza! Liza just likes him! He's cheating with Bea!" Hudson shook his head.

"Bea?!" Half the bus screamed.

"Me?! And Caden?! Bitch please!" Bea cackled.

"I'm sexy, girl, stop playing," Caden rolled his eyes. "Listen, I don't know why you think I'm cheating on Ken with Bea but I promise you I'm not. I'd never cheat on someone—"

"But I overheard you talking to Liza and you were saying that you cheated with Bea!"

"I was talking about a test!" Caden laughed. "Liza was asking me if I'd ever cheated on anything before because she was feeling guilty about cheating on her math exam—which by the way, I still really don't feel like you cheated. You didn't know you left those formulas in your calculator. Get over it, little sis—and anyway, I told her about the time that me and Bea cheated on one of our tests."

"Passed with a 90 too. I don't regret it." Bea smirked.

"Okay well...But you like him, Liza?" Ken questioned, tilting her head.

"No! I'm gay!" She stated.

"But I heard you say 'I really like you and I don't know how to explain that to Cora'!" Hudson told her.

"It was two completely unrelated sentences! We were having like five conversations at once because Caden has the attention span of a damn squirrel—"

"Rude." He huffed.

"—And Caden was saying he thought some dude on the football team didn't like him and to make him feel better I told him that I happen to like him. And I was saying I didn't know how I was gonna explain how to play a game I bought to Cora."

"You're lying," Cora growled. "And I know you're lying. You and Caden are together, at least that's what it looks like based on you guys' text messages."

"I've never texted her a day in my life." Caden shook his head.

"You went through my messages?!" Liza gasped.

"Yes, I know that was wrong but I'm not sorry! I just had to know if you were cheating on me and apparently you are! I screenshotted and sent the messages to myself, so let's read them, shall we?" Cora chuckled bitterly as she pulled out her phone.

"You're really cool, dude. —Liza

Thanks, I know I'm pretty awesome —Cadey

We should totally get together soon —Liza

Yeah that'd be fine. What are you gonna tell Cora? —Cadey

Idk I'll figure something out. Love you —Liza

Love you more princess —Cadey."

"Do I need to go on?" Cora spat, looking between the two.

Liza sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "Those messages aren't between me and Caden. They're between me and Amelia."

"Oh, you and your new best friend?" Cora rolled her eyes. "Well, then...Why's the name Cadey in your phone?"

"That's her middle name which she happens to hate so I call her by it all the time," Liza shrugged. "I guess I see why you thought I was talking to Caden."

"Yeah, especially since you guys have been getting along so well recently..." Cora muttered. "Sorry, Caden."

"It's cool, kid." He smiled.

"...So, what the fuck are you talking to that bitch for and why are you trying to make plans with her behind my back?! And why's she calling you princess and why are you two telling each other that you love each other and—"

"I tell all my friends that I love them!" Liza yelled. "And I'm talking to her because she is my friend whether you like that or not! And we wouldn't be trying to make plans behind your back if you weren't such a bitch when we tried to make plans in front of you! It's not like we're sneaking off to go on dates or something, we've literally tried to include you, but—"

"I'm not fucking crazy, Liza! I know she likes you and that's why I don't want to be around her and that's why you shouldn't want to be around her either! You're not that naive. You know she wants you, so why do you keep entertaining her?!"

"Because..." Liza rubbed her temple as she slid down in her seat. "I...Really like you but I don't know if I wanna be with you anymore." She mumbled.

"Oh, fuck." Billie whispered.

"Why the hell not?" Cora questioned tearily.

"Because...I mean you're cool and everything and I've had a lot of fun with you, but it's just that...I'm not sure we're all that great together. I mean, we're never on the same page, we're always arguing, you don't fucking trust me and you're always jealous...And I'm sorry, but I think I wanna see other people." She muttered.

"Okay." Cora mumbled as she turned back around in her seat and sat down. She crossed her arms and looked out of her window, starting to sniffle.

Fuck. This isn't good.

"Oh, come on, Cora! We're just kids! You didn't expect us to be together forever, did you?" Liza sighed.

"I didn't expect for you to break up with me in front of all my friends either." Cora mumbled.

"Oh, you do not need to be embarrassed, Cora! People get broken up with all the time!" Madi told her, trying to comfort her. I guess all the shouting woke him up.

"Thanks, Madi." She mumbled. "Stop talking to me, Liza."

"Oh, you do not get to be mad at me!" Liza spat. "You're a total hypocrite! Are you really gonna sit here and pretend to be the victim when you were doing the exact same thing that I was doing?!"

"What are you talking about?" Cora sighed.

"Hayes. You've been texting him nonstop since the night of the play."

"What?!" Billie and I shouted. "Hayes? Are you kidding me?! I'm pretty sure that kid is bad news!" Billie shook her head.

"You don't know him so don't judge him!" Cora glared. "And by the way, bad as you may think he is, I'm willing to bet my whole soul that he's never once cut anyone."

"You cut one bitch and people hold it over your head for the rest of your life." Billie rolled her eyes, slumping in her seat.

"Aw, look at her defending her precious boyfriend," Liza laughed. "You've been on my dick about Amelia all this time and yet you've been talking to a guy that you know likes you, or at least, wants to fuck you, and now you wanna sit here and cry and pretend like you're just oh so hurt about me wanting to break up. Face it, Cora, we should've ended this shit a long time ago."

"Maybe you're right. If we had, I would've been able to get with Hayes a lot sooner. But I'm glad we're finally over, so I can finally accept his invitation to go on a date. And I bet it'll be so much better than any 'date' you ever took me on!" Cora's voice was venomous as she spoke, and I cringed as they both got quiet and started glaring out their windows.

That wasn't great to witness.

"Okay, well, while we're airing shit out..." Bea sighed. "I'm sorry, Dahlia, but I don't like you like that. I think you're great and everything, but Billie is my friend and I'd never hurt her by being with her girl—"

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I raised a brow.

"I know about your crush on Bea." Billie muttered, playing with her rings.

"What?! You've got a crush on Bea?!" Kit questioned. She tried to sound nonchalant but I could tell she was mad. I quickly held my hands up in defense.

"Absolutely not! I—Why would you think that?!"

"You like her and that's why you wouldn't get with me earlier?!" Heidi questioned angrily.

"Excuse me? The fuck do you mean get with you? Were you trying some shit with my girl, bitch?" Billie scooted into Heidi's seat and Heidi pushed herself as close to the wall as she could, but Billie was still all up in her face.

"I...Y-You don't like her anymore, remember?" Heidi whispered.

"Bea was lying about that, genius." Billie rolled her eyes. "And let me find out you tried some shit with my bitch. I'll fuck you up."

"Billie—" I tried to stop her as she got so close to Heidi that their noses were practically touching. Heidi was literally trembling, and I felt bad even though she's not exactly my favorite person.

"I know you saw the ring on her finger. The fuck did that ring say?" Billie questioned lowly.

"B-Billie Ei—"

"Billie fucking Eilish, that's right!" Billie barked, cutting her off. "Are you Billie Eilish?"

"N-No."

"Exactly. So that means don't be touching my girl. She's wearing my ring, she's fucking mine. She will always be mine. She belongs to me. If I find out you tried some shit with her I'm gonna break your fucking neck, understand?"

"Yes." Heidi squeaked.

"Good." Billie smiled before sliding back to her seat again. Everyone on the bus was silent for a few moments before I finally spoke up.

"Why'd you lie? Why'd you tell her you didn't like me anymore?"

"I didn't," Billie glared at Bea. "She did. She thinks you like her and she didn't want Heidi to know that because she was scared that Heidi would try to kill you or something. But Heidi won't even be looking in your general direction unless she wants me to kill her ass, so I guess we don't have to worry about that, do we?" She sent a fake smile to Heidi who nodded quickly.

"I do not like you, Bea, why would you think that?" I asked.

"You were flirting with me earlier!" Bea threw her hands up. "In the nacho shop. You were basically trying to convince me to break up with Heidi! You know, you were saying 'You never know who else is out there waiting' or whatever and then you winked at me and walked off."

"I was just...Talking in general." I lied, my eyes flickering over to Kit who was glaring at me. Fuck, she's intimidating.

"You were trying—" Heidi quickly turned to face the front again when Billie cleared her throat. "She was trying to get Bea to break up with me?!" She asked Billie instead.

"And if she was?" Billie raised a brow, a threatening look in her eyes.

"Um...that's cool." Heidi whispered shakily.

"It better be."

"Oh, don't act like you care anyway. You were trying to jump Dahlia earlier, weren't you?" Bea rolled her eyes. "We're so over."

"Yes!" Kit whisper yelled, causing us all to look at her. "Oh...My fault. I just...Won a game." She held up her phone, which wasn't even on, and then slid down in her seat.

"While we're clearing shit up...Um...Orbi, I appreciated the nudes, but—"

"What?" Orb quickly lifted his head up and stared at Hudson. He snatched one of his earbuds out of his ear and raised his brows. "Nudes?"

"Yeah, you sent me nudes earlier." Hudson blushed. "And while they were greatly appreciated, I just, ugh...That was weird. That was a weird thing to do." He nodded.

Ori was looking at his phone and tapping away at it, probably looking to see if he really did send nudes to Hudson. He let out a frustrated groan after a while.

"I'm so stupid! Fuck, I'm sorry, Huddy! Guess I'll just...Go ahead and send those to Denny now then..." He muttered, blushing. "I didn't mean to send them to you, I was supposed to be sending them to Denver but me and you were texting at the time and I sent them in such a hurry that I guess I got the names mixed—"

"Wait a fucking—What do you mean you were sending them to Denver?! My brother Denver?!" I questioned.

"Yeah, that's the guy." He shrugged.

"Oh my god, ew!" Cora mumbled before looking out the window again.

"Why—What—That's disgusting I—what?!" I shivered.

"Look, I really like the guy and I think he actually likes me too and...You know, we were just talking and the conversation got dirtier and dirtier and then—"

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no—" I covered my ears, brought my knees up to my chest and squeezed my eyes shut as I began rocking back and forth.

Fuck, no, I can't even think about that. That is absolutely gross—Icky!

"My God, you've broken Dahlia." I heard Billie say as she came over to sit with me.

"That is okay, Dahlia, do not be worried! Nude photos are common these days, especially amongst teenagers!" Madi called from his seat before Jules shushed him.

"I never get any nudes." Caden grumbled.

"You get the real thing, be happy!" Ken huffed.

"Aw, pretty Cadence, remember when you sent me—"

"A gift?!" Cadence cut Gigi off quickly. "Yeah! I remember!"

"You sent him nudes?!" Caden questioned loudly. "Are you kidding me?! My little sister?! Sending nudes to someone?! I should whoop your ass!"

"You're literally just, like, a minute older so shut that shit up." Cadence rolled her eyes. "And I'm sorry, I didn't want you to find out about it this way or...Any...way, but I'm not a child!"

"I get that, but—Still! Nudes! That's crazy, that's disgusting that's...Why won't you send me any? Do you not trust me?"

I lifted my head up quickly and breathed a sigh of relief once I realized that he'd turned away from Cadence and started talking to Ken. I really thought for a second that he was still talking to his sister and I was...Very alarmed, to say the least.

"Oh my god, are you seriously gonna be one of those guys who peer pressures me into sending you nudes, or something?" Ken rolled her eyes.

"No! You don't have to! I'm not gonna force you to, I just—"

"You've asked me about this, like, twice before and I said no. Why do you keep bringing it up? You said you didn't care if I didn't send any but you clearly do. Are they really so important to you? Cause I'm sorry, but I'm never sending anyone nudes, ever. Not even you. So...if that's like a huge problem for you, then, I think maybe we should—"

"No! Don't even finish that sentence! I promise you it's not a problem. I don't need nudes from you! They're not important to me at all. You're the only thing important to me! I just...I don't need the nudes I just need to know that you'd trust me enough to send them."  Caden mumbled.

"What?"

"I really like you. I, like, love you...Maybe?" He blushed. "And I just want you to know that I'd do anything for you and I'd never do anything to hurt you. Sometimes I feel like you don't know how much I care about you and I feel like you don't trust me as much as I trust you which really bothers me because I trust you with my life, basically. And more than that, I trust you with my food!" He smiled. "I just don't want you to feel like you can't trust me...Is all."

"I do trust you," She grinned at him. "I just am terrified of my nonexistent nudes getting leaked. I mean, not that you would do that! But what if I get famous and a hacker finds them one day? I think about that all the time. And I mean, Dahlia's not even famous and even her nude got leaked! Her titties are still floating around on Facebook to this day!"

"That's true. I look at them basically every day." Kit nodded.

"Me too."

"What?!"

Billie and I spoke at the same time.

"What?" Kit shrugged. "It's not like I want to, it's just that they're always on my timeline."

"Yeah...Same." Billie mumbled.

"Shut up, you liar, you literally hate facebook. You don't scroll through your timeline." I scoffed.

"Timeline...Saved images...Does it really matter where I see them?" She mumbled.

"If I didn't think there was a chance that some crazy hacker would find my nudes I'd totally send you some. I trust you completely. And I love you." Ken smiled before pecking Caden's lips softly.

"Aw, that is very sweet of them." Gigi grinned. "I think that...Now would be good time to tell Cadence that I would like to be her boyfriend too?" He asked shyly, looking at her. She gasped.

"Really?!"

"Yes. Boyfriends protect their girlfriends from everything bad, give their girlfriends lots of cuddles and kisses, watch beauty videos at three in the morning after sex with their girlfriends...I do all of that already, and I like it. And I want to, ugh...The word?" He drummed his fingers on the seat as he thought. "I want to...Yes! I want to permanently be with you. And only you. And you be with me and only me. That is what I want, but I care more about what you want, so...What would you like?"

"I'm literally gonna cry, I hope they have thirty-two kids." I whispered as I leaned against Billie.

"I want that too, Gigi," She smiled softly. "I really like you."

"I am pushing my luck, but I...Love you." He chuckled.

"I love you too!" She yelled happily before kissing him.

"This is the cutest shit I've ever seen." Jules sniffled. "Why the fuck am I still single? This is trash."

"I feel you." Hudson sighed. "Single squad. Am I right?" He turned to look at Jessica who simply chuckled awkwardly. She looked at Kai who sighed and shrugged her shoulders. "Well, everyone else is spilling shit...Jessica and I are dating!" She announced.

"We been knew." Ori smirked.

"Wow, I love being a bus driver. It's like watching soap operas, but in real life." Cooper chuckled.

***

Billie licked her fingers before crawling up the bed and under the covers, lying next to me. I tried to catch my breath and make myself not feel so damn lightheaded.

When we got back to the hotel, everyone decided to head out to the pool and unwind from the long day. Everyone besides me and Billie who decided to stay in the hotel room and...'talk'

We really did intend to talk but...There wasn't much talking going on.

"I think I'm gonna be sore tomorrow." I mumbled.

"Mm." She hummed. "Whatever you feel between your legs tomorrow and any other day, you'll know it's cause of me. No-fucking-body else."

I turned to face her and smiled largely, letting out a small giggle which caused her to side-eye me. She looked annoyed which made me giggle again.

"You know I didn't want her. I don't want her or anyone else but you." I told her softly.

"I guess I know that," She sighed. "It's just fucking infuriating that other people want you. I know it's wrong for me to be like that, but I literally hate the fact that other people can want you too. I wish you were invisible to everybody but me. I wish you were just my little secret."

"I can start walking around wearing a Chucky mask if that's what you want. Close enough, huh?" I smirked.

"Shut up!" She snickered before turning to face me too. She grinned as she pushed some of my hair out of my face. "Don't ever fucking leave me."

"I'll never leave you," I told her. "Unless...Twenty or thirty celebrities asked me to. I have a list of people I'd leave you for, but none of them know I exist and most of them are way older than me so I guess you don't have to worry."

"Thanks, I feel better." She chuckled. "Dahlia?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think...Um...Remember last time when you...Like, um...Well it felt good when you—"

"You want me to top." I smirked.

"I mean, if you want to you can." She blushed.

I rolled my eyes at her. "You better be fucking glad I don't feel like making you beg tonight."
