Dahlia's POV

"Cora, what the fuck?" I growled lowly after climbing off of the bus. "What are we doing here?"

"Okay, everybody just calm down!" She chuckled awkwardly. "This is gonna be so much fun! Trust me!"

"I don't understand why you think milking cows and cleaning horse shit is fun but okay." Bea rolled her eyes.

We left the hotel a few days ago, on the second. Since then, we've been on a little 'road trip'. We're not really sure where we're going because we thought it'd be better to just live in the moment and travel to wherever fate wants us to go.

Or wherever Cooper wants us to go. You know, cause he's the one driving.

The point is, we didn't plan on ending up anywhere specific. We've just been driving and stopping at whatever places we've wanted to stop at. We've even been sleeping on the bus, which hasn't been as bad as I figured it'd be. It's actually been kinda cool! Dare I say, it's slightly more comfortable than sleeping on a cramped bed with Billie, Cadence, and Gigi.

The last few days have been a lot of fun! Yesterday we spent a few hours at a playground acting like the toddlers we all are, and then we spent the rest of the day at a nice zoo which we all really enjoyed a lot. The day before that, we went to a spa and then went to the movie theater. The day before that we just spent the whole day shopping.

Up until today, every activity that we'd done had been a lot of fun. But today was Cora's day to pick what we did and she picked...A farm.

Yes, a farm. She apparently told Cooper to drive us to this farm where we get to be 'farmers' for a day. This is her idea of fun.

Which is really shocking, considering usually Cora doesn't like doing anything that might result in her breaking a nail. She wouldn't use chopsticks while we were eating last week because she thought there was a chance that she'd hit her nail with one of them and somehow that'd break it. And yet...She's fine with us working on a farm for a day.

My sister is kinda weird.

"Come on, you guys all love animals! And when else are we gonna get to see some of these animals up close? Horses! Pigs! Cows! Chickens! I'm pretty sure there's an alpaca here too! Lots of goats and sheep—"

"When I wanted to visit the Kylie Cosmetics pop up shop a few miles back—Which I can bet my ass was cleaner than this farm—there was an issue, but this is acceptable?" Hudson narrowed his eyes.

"You don't have to go into every beauty store you pass by! Besides, in this friend group, we stan Fenty beauty only." I rolled my eyes. "And no, this isn't acceptable! I am not spending my day—"

"Look, I already paid the owner of this farm to let us come and spend the day on it today!" She whined.

"You had to pay? To do farm work?! Are you shitting me?!" Caden questioned.

"I don't give a damn whether you already paid or not, we're not doing this." Billie shook her head. "I'm a whole vegan, I'm not about to play with these farm animals."

"The owners of this farm don't kill their animals, so you don't have to worry about it!" Cora told her quickly. "And you should give a damn because I paid for this with your money."

"What?! When?! How?! Why?!" Billie shouted.

"This is karma! This is what you get for always using Finneas' shit!" I shook my head.

"Go talk to the farm owners and get my money back!" Billie demanded, stomping her foot.

"No can do. They don't do refunds." Cora shrugged.

"Guys, I can't believe I'm about to say this but...I think we should stay," Cadence grinned. "I mean, it'll be cool for us to be out here just...out on a farm with nothing but sweet, adorable animals and fresh air and plenty of space and—"

"Oh, knock it off. We know you just wanna wear those overalls you bought the other day." I rolled eyes.

"Well, when else am I gonna get the chance?! I'm gonna go change, I'll be back in five!" She clapped before running back onto the bus.

"I like farms." Was Gigi's contribution to the conversation.

"I like animals!" Madi smiled.

"What are we even supposed to do while we're here?" Jessica asked.

"The owners sent me a list of stuff to do for the animals. We just have to feed them, clean them, all that kind of stuff! It'll be a great experience!" Cora smiled.

It was not a great experience.

"Them motherfuckers is wild." Kit smirked as she leaned over the fence that was between us and the pigs. "I don't know what the fuck it is, but they really seem pissed off today."

"Why didn't you tell Heidi that before she went in there?" I questioned, watching as Heidi walked up to one of the pigs, about to pet it.

"She's been giving Bea trouble lately so I figured this could be payback." She chuckled as we watched Heidi slowly start backing away from the swarm of pigs that had gathered around her. They'd all seemingly come out of nowhere, and now they were practically surrounding her.

"You and Bea have been hanging out nonstop lately," I smirked. They've been practically inseparable for the last few days! I mean, we're all hanging out a lot because obviously, we have to since we're always together, but seriously, they always sit together, they're always talking, they're always running off alone together. They totally like each other. "You guys totally like each other." I said out loud.

"I like pussy. That's about it." Kit shrugged.

"If this was only about pussy you would not be standing here, watching her ex get chased by pigs." I told her as I glanced at Heidi again. The pigs were starting to back her into their feeding area.

"Hey, can you guys come help me?!" She yelled.

I sighed as I threw a leg over the fence, about to climb over to help her, but Kit quickly grabbed my ankle and pushed my leg back down. "Nah, you straight!" She yelled.

"Kit—" I sent her a warning glance.

"She'll be fine." Kit shrugged.

I was about to reply, but I cut myself off with a loud gasp as I watched as Heidi backed further away from the pigs, tripped, and fell straight into all their slop. Face first.

"Holy fuck!" I whisper yelled.

Not gonna lie, I felt really bad for her. We'd been here for about two hours now and already she'd been chased by chickens and cows, and she'd fallen into a huge pile of hay which is no fun feeling, or so I've heard. I'm also fairly sure that she got head-butted right in the stomach by a goat, but maybe I was just seeing things.

"Damn. That's a shame." Kit mumbled before standing up straight and throwing an arm around my shoulder. She turned me away from the scene and made sure I didn't look back as we began walking off, Heidi still screaming for help as we did. "Why don't we go take a look at the horses?"

I felt bad for a few seconds, but, like...I do like horses. You know, despite my previous experience with Mrs. Horsekins.

When we got into the barn where the horses were being kept, Billie, Kai, and Jules were already in there and clearly had no idea that we'd come in. They were facing away from us, doing some type of weird-ass cowgirl choreography.

"Buss down horseianna!" Billie yelled after a minute before she began twerking.

"I think I'd like to go see the cows again." I sighed. Kit nodded and we slowly backed out, not wanting to interrupt...Whatever that was.

Five minutes later, we were standing in the area where they keep the cows, watching Caden as he rode one.

"Get off the fucking cow, Caden." I rolled my eyes and shook my head at him as he swung the cowgirl hat he'd borrowed from Cadence around in the air and pretended to ride an electric bull.

"Don't bother me now, Dahlia, I'm in the zone!" He shouted. I guess the cow got scared because it threw him off a few seconds later.

"I told his ass not to get on that thing." Ken shook her head before sticking a straw of hay in her mouth.

"Ew!" I gasped. "You don't know where that's been!"

"Relax. I washed it off," she shrugged. "I need to chew on some hay so I can feel country, you know?"

We all scream sang the lyrics as we danced around in the mud. It had started raining earlier and now it was muddy as shit literally everywhere we stepped, but we didn't care.

We kinda got sick of doing shit for the animals, so we decided it'd be a better idea just to perfect our hoedown throw-downs. I mean, we're on a fucking farm. Why would we not?

The only three people not dancing were Gigi, Kit, and Heidi. Kit was too busy laughing at us, Gigi didn't know what the fuck a hoedown throwdown even was, and Heidi was nowhere to be found. We checked to make sure she wasn't still being attacked by the pigs before we started dancing, and she wasn't there.

I'm guessing she's probably not dead, so it's fine.

"Okay, okay, okay! I think we should start working on our 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' choreography now!" Jessica grinned.

"No way! We have to do 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' now!" Bea clapped.

"I don't care what we do, I just wanna square dance!" Hudson smirked.

We all began bickering loudly as we tried to figure out what we should do next. It's not every day that we get to be on an actual fucking farm, we have to make our time here count! And what better way to do that than to perfect our 'Rodeo' choreography? We should be focused on making Lil Nas X proud!

Our arguing was cut off by a loud, high pitched scream. At first I thought it was one of the animals dying or something, but when I turned around I noticed it was just Heidi. I winced as I saw that she was still covered in slop and...Maybe even some shit.

"Cora, I'm going to murder you!" She yelled.

"Me? I didn't do anything!" Cora defended.

"This is the worst day of my entire life!" Heidi screeched at the top of her lungs. "And it's all because of you! And why the fuck did you leave me in that barn with all those stupid horses?! One of them made me trip and fall into a pile of shit!"

Yep, I was right.

"Alright, calm down—" Cora backed away from her with her hands up in defense as Heidi slowly trudged toward her.

"Don't tell me to fucking calm down! I'm covered in slop and shit and I've got hay clinging to every inch of my body, poking the fuck out of me, and I fucking got chased by chickens and trampled by a herd of cows—"

"It was two cows and they didn't mean to cause you any harm!" She defended quickly.

"This is all your fault! We never should've agreed to spend the day here!" Heidi yelled at the top of her lungs.

"Hey, don't blame me! Everyone else had a nice time! This is your fault. If you hadn't been provoking the animals—"

"I literally just stood there and then the fucking chickens started chasing me!" Heidi huffed.

"Maybe they didn't like the way you were looking at them?" Cora shrugged.

"I'm gonna kill you!" Heidi screamed before beginning to chase after Cora. Chaos ensued as they began running around. Everyone started chasing after them, trying to make sure that Heidi didn't kill Cora. We all kept slipping because of the wet mud underneath our feet, and to make matters worse, it started to rain again.

"Ladies, ladies, ladies!" Billie screamed as she watched Cora, Heidi and I all fall down, right into the mud. I wrapped my hands around Heidi's waist, trying to hold her back as she tried to get to Cora who was crawling away. "If you guys are gonna have a mud fight, you need to take your clothes off first!" She yelled.

"I agree with Bilboa." Kit shrugged.

"Thank you, but we're on a farm so right now, I'm Billie Bob." Billie smiled.

"Stop it you fucking lunatic!" Cora screamed as Heidi began flinging mud at her.

"Heidi, you really need to just calm do—" I cut myself off with a loud gasp as Heidi turned around and slapped some mud onto my face.

This bitch.

"You fucking hoe!" I screeched before pushing her down and pushing her face into the mud. "That shit is disgusting! These fucking animals have probably pissed and shit all in this fucking—" I grunted as she pushed me off of her and climbed on top of me, beginning to rub mud all over my face.

"How do you like that?!" She huffed.

"Get off my sister!" Cora yelled as she literally tackled Heidi.

"I don't really have any beef, but this seems like fun so..." Kai shrugged before grabbing a handful of mud and throwing it at the back of Jules' head.

Madi clapped before bending down and doing the same thing. Jules gasped as she quickly bent over to pick some up and throw it back at them.

"You'll never catch me alive!" Caden screamed as he sprinted away from Cadence and Gigi, who were trying to rub some mud on him.

He managed to avoid them for a good few seconds, but then he tripped and fell face-first into the mud.

"I hope none of you think you're gonna get on my bus when you're covered in mud." Billie snickered. "I'm not about to have that shit."

I narrowed my eyes as I stood up and ran over to her, tackling her to the ground.

"Oh my fucking god, Dahlia!" She screamed. "I'm going to kill you!"

"Wait!" I yelled as she picked up a handful of mud. "Kit is still standing over there completely clean. Why don't we gang up on her?"

"Yo, I don't have shit to do with none of this, bro. Don't be bringing me into it—" Kit quickly tried to back away from us.

"Everyone attack her!" I screamed.

Everyone turned their attention to her and began chasing her around.

I don't know how long we spent out there, playing in the mud like a bunch of five-year-olds, but I do know that it was probably the most fun I'd had all summer.
