Hi! So, a lot of shit has happened in this book and I thought it'd be cute to summarize everything that happened BUT I had no idea how I'd summarize the entire book without writing a forty page essay lmao. So I eventually figured the easiest way to do it would be to just sum up everything that happened each month, since everything in this book happened over the course of a year.

Now, I may not be EXACTLY right about what happened in what month. The months seem to fly by in this book and I'm only doing my best to guess which month this stuff happened in. It's pretty accurate, but ya know, something I might put under 'october' bc I thought it happened in late October might've actually happened in early November. Sorry if that happens.

AUGUST:

-Billie and Dahlia meet

-They get acquainted and become fast friends

-They hang out for the first time at the bowling alley

-Billie comes over while Kai and Dahlia are supposed to be having sex and this is the first time Billie and Dahlia talk about Dahlia's mom

SEPTEMBER:

-Billie convinces Dahlia to come to a party with her, they have fun but Dahlia ends up sleeping with Kai.

-Kai takes a naked picture of Dahlia which Dahlia doesn't know about and sends it to Billie, trying to scare Billie off. Billie doesn't tell Dahlia about it.

-Billie is upset about Dahlia and Kai sleeping together and the fact that Dahlia doesn't seem to care, which leads to her and Dahlia's first 'fight'

-Billie threatens Kai and breaks her phone, telling her not to show the picture to anyone.

-Cora's (15th) birthday party happens. Dahlia and Billie make up.

-Kai tells Dahlia to tell Billie she doesn't like her so that she and Dahlia can be together without Billie in the way. Dahlia refuses and tells Kai that she likes Billie.

-Dahlia and Billie go to a football game which is where Dahlia finds out about he picture. Kai shows it to everyone and Billie fights her.

-After the game, Dahlia goes to Billie's house and they kiss and admit that they like each other.

-Dahlia's deadbeat mom comes back for the first time in a few years because she's seen Dahlia's naked photo on Facebook.

-Dahlia and her mom have a humongous fight.

-Dahlia and Billie have sex for the first time

-Kai blackmails Dahlia and tells her she has to 'date' her unless she wants everyone to know about her traumatic past.

-Billie figures out what Kai is doing and threatens her again.

-Kai tells everyone about Dahlia's past and has her jumped.

-Billie threatens and cuts Kai

-Billie takes care of Dahlia afterward

-Billie tells Dahlia about her past

-Billie starts to think about how much she likes Dahlia and kinda wants her to herself

OCTOBER:

-Kai tells Dahlia how much she really liked her when they were screwing around and apologizes for everything she did to her because she's found a new girl that she likes.

-Dahlia pretends to accept Kai's apology but plans to get revenge on her.

-HALLOWEEN PARTY!! Denver is caught kissing a boy, Cadence is caught doing cocaine, Billie meets a girl named Bea, Dahlia gets super high and fights Jaylen—Kai's new girl—after figuring out that she was one of the girls who'd jumped her, Dahlia sleeps with Kai and records it to get revenge on her and plans to post the video, but Billie and her fight about it and Dahlia doesn't post it, Billie sleeps with Bea after the fight, Dahlia hears Denny talking to a boy about kissing him and begins to wonder if he's gay, Kai and Dahlia make up—for real this time—Caden and Julian get into a huge fight because Julian was going to allow his friends to rape Cadence, the party gets busted and thy have to make a run for it, they all end up at Billie's house.

-Its confirmed that Denver has a crush on Finneas

-Billie officially asks Dahlia to be her girlfriend

NOVEMBER:

-Billie decides she needs to make a friend of her own and decides to befriend Bea.

-Billie asks Dahlia to the Sadie Hawkins dance

-Luna, Billie's ex, shows up to the Sadie Hawkins dance as Bea's date. She wants Billie back and reveals she'll be transferring to Billie's school after Christmas.

-Caden mentions his girl, Ken, for the first time and Cadence starts hanging around Gigi

-Dahlia gets her license

-Dahlia overhears Billie's phone conversation with Luna and thinks she wants to break up. Billie then tells Dahlia about her and Luna's past.

-Dahlia meets Hudson

-Cora reveals that she's bi

-Billie and her family come to Dahlia's house for Thanksgiving

-Dahlia tries to get Denver to come out and admit that he likes Finneas all during Thanksgiving, Dahlia finds out that Denver doesn't wanna come out because he's been communicating with their mom, Finneas ends up hearing about his crush which leads to a big fight between Dahlia and Denver

-Dahlia gets a job working with Cadence's aunt Josephine to edit her videos

-Dahlia notices that her dad and Josephine like each other

-Dahlia and Cadence plan a trip to a cabin over Christmas break to get Joseph and Josephine together

DECEMBER:

-"cabinchella" Denver and Dahlia make up after their big fight, they have a deep talk and Dahlia finds out what their mom did to Denver

-Dahlia finds out that Luna likes her and she and Billie have a fight

-They make up and Billie tells Dahlia she loves her for the first time

-Joseph and Josephine get together

-Dahlia plans her and Billie's first date and tells Billie she loves her too

-Billie gives Dahlia a promise ring

-Dahlia talks about her past with Billie for the first actual time

-Julia finds out about Denver/Hudson

-Denver breaks up with Hudson and Julia

-Denver comes out

-Christmas!

JANUARY:

-Dahlia's birthday (she gets a car and Prince Styles)

-Dahlia and Billie escort Cora and her S/Os on a date which ends with Dahlia assaulting her mother

-Billie, Dahlia and their friends take Valerie to Kai's uncle and Billie threatens him to keep him from saying anything to the police

-Billie later gets Kai's whole family locked up, forcing Kai to live with her for a while

-Luna transfers to their school

-Dahlia and Billie work together on a huge wedding planning project

-They have a huge fight and break up

-Prom theme is revealed and Billie buys their prom tickets

-Dahlia tries to help Denver start to work on his future plans

-Denver starts to talk to Finneas again

-Kai talks to Billie about her dark past, bringing them closer

FEBRUARY:

-Billie and Dahlia reconcile but don't get back together

-Julia reveals that she's pregnant

-Billie and Dahlia are given a marriage project where they have to take care of twins, Petrillo and Capone

-Cadence tries to get Dahlia and Billie back together by organizing a Valentine's Day date with all their friends and hosting a slumber party.

-Denny and Julia tell Joseph about the pregnancy

MARCH:

-Billie asks for the promise ring she gave to Dahlia back

-Kai moves out of Billie's house and in with her new roommates, Ori and Jessica.

-^Housewarming party for them

-Heidi is introduced

-Jessica and Kai get together

-Garage sale is held to make more money for Denver and Julia

-Luna shows up wearing the ring that Billie took back from Dahlia

-Bow cut dude is introduced

-Dahlia beats Luna up and tells her not to talk to Billie again

-Dahlia finds out that they have to put on a play in just one month to save drama club

-Last month of school

-Dahlia finally gets to confront Julian about what he did to Cadence

-Dahlia goes to the party and gets to know Kit more

-We finally learn the name of bowl cut dude

-^^He attack's Dahlia in the bathroom but Dahlia beats his ass

-Bowl cut dude's dad tries to bribe Dahlia to drop the charges

-Dahlia starts taking pills that she gets from Jasper Wesley

-Cadence tells Billie about Gigi leaving to go back to Italy in July

-Dahlia takes ten thousand dollars from Bowl cut dude's dad, but doesn't drop the charges against him

-The play happens

-Bowl cut dude runs on the stage, brings a gun, and gets arrested

-Cora gets into a fight

JUNE:

-Dahlia and Denny have moved into their new house and have a housewarming party

-Kit gets interested in Bea

-Dahlia and her friends leave for summer vacation

-Liza and Cora start fighting

-Lots of drama happens when Bea thinks that Dahlia likes her, Billie thinks that Cora likes her, Heidi tries to get with Dahlia, etc

-Heidi and Bea break up

-Liza and Cora break up

-Kit and Bea start screwing around

-Liza and Cora Get into a fight and Liza goes home

-Misty is introduced

-They go to a festival where Dahlia meets a performer, Bridget, and Billie accuses Dahlia of cheating

-They go to a party that night where Billie tries to make Dahlia jealous which causes a big fight, and Billie doesn't pay attention to Dahlia because she's on her phone

-Billie and Dahlia make up

-Billie admits to Kit that she's hiding something from Dahlia

-Dahlia finds out Billie's been talking to Luna again

-Dahlia goes out, gets drunk, sleeps with another girl

-Dahlia and Billie make up

July:

-Denny and Julia's baby is born

-Joseph & Josephine announce their pregnancy/Engagement

- Joseph announces he's quit his job and started his own business

-Nana announces she's married to Mr. Harmon

-Dahlia's family all move closer to her

-Valerie is murdered
