Don't Hug Me I'm Scared {Billie Eilish}
Dahlia's POV
************
When Friday finally got here I was excited as shit, needless to say. Not only was I excited because it was finally the fucking weekend, but also because I was finally getting to hang out with Billie. I hadn't seen her as much as I wanted to because of how busy I'd been with everyone else this week, but today and tomorrow we're spending the day together and I'm so fucking happy I don't know what to do.
"Get the fuck out!" I yelled at Cora as I tried to clean up my room. It's not the worst, but there are a few things out of place here and there and I want it to be neat when Billie comes over. I moved some stuff off of my floor and threw it into my closet quickly before huffing as I turned to look at Cora.
"Not until you promise meâ"
"I'm not promising you anything, dude. Convincing dad to let you stay out past eleven with some guy he doesn't even know that well just so you can catch a movieâ"
"He's met Matthew before and he likes him!" She pouted.
"Great, so you should be able to ask him about it yourself." I grumbled as I pushed past her and turned on my Wii. Billie's been dying to play it and now we finally have the time.
"You're the worst." Cora mumbled before picking a pillow up off my bedâWhich I'd just fucking madeâand throwing it at me. She purposely messed up a few of my other pillows and then quickly ran out of the room as I began to chase her.
She ran into her room and slammed her door shut before I could catch her, and I went back into my own room and slammed my door before redoing my bed.
I sighed as I glanced around, trying to make sure nothing else needed to be done. It looked as if everything was as good as it'd get, so I took a seat on my bed and started scrolling through Instagram while I waited for her to get here.
It was fifteen minutes later when I heard the doorbell ring, and I flew out of my room and down the stairs, practically throwing the door open.
"Bilboa!"
"Doe eyes!"
We hugged each other dramatically and I laughed as she lifted me up and wrapped my legs around her waist. "I missed you so much!" I mumbled.
"I missed you more, baby." She grinned.
I pulled her in for a kiss, not caring how desperate I seemed as I attacked her lips with my own. She kicked the door closed and walked forward, moaning a little as I bit her bottom lip and then licked it. Her hands found their way down to my ass, slipping inside my sweat pants and giving me a squeeze and I giggled.
"This is a hate crime. This is disgusting."
We pulled away quickly and looked toward the stairs, where Denver and Cora were standing.
"You two assholes never show up until we're in the middle of something important." I emphasized, nodding my head toward the stairs as I silently begged them to go back up and leave us alone. They stood there with their arms crossed, staring at us with blank faces. I sighed as Billie put me down. Clearly, the moment had been ruined.
"It wouldn't be an issue if you didn't do that in the middle of the living room." Cora sassed as she walked over and plopped down on the couch. "Billie! The cool one in the relationship! Lovely to see you again."
Billie laughed as she sat down next to her, giving her a fist bump. "What do you want? You only compliment me when you want something."
"Dahlia won't talk to my dad about letting me stay out late with the guy I like." Cora pouted. "She's being lame."
"And you want me to...Talk to your dad?" Billie furrowed her brows. Cora rolled her eyes. "No, I want you to talk to my sister! Convince her with some of that Billie magic of yours to stop being mean to me."
"I don't think so," Billie shook her head. "Boys are icky, especially boys your age. He might try something and how would I ever forgive myself if I convinced your sister to ask your dad to let you stay out late and then little Coraline ends up pregnant? I wouldn't."
I sent Cora a smug look as Billie sided with me. She huffed and picked up the TV remote, angrily flipping through the channels. The TV finally landed on animal planet, and just Cora's luck, there's an animal fight scene happening. She only watches animal planet when she's mad.
Billie chuckled and ruffled her hair as the fifteen-year-old remained silent. Denver sat down on the couch beside her and snatched the remote from her hands, only worsening her mood.
I grabbed Billie's hand and pulled her off the couch, heading up the stairs. Before we could even make it to my room I heard my siblings start to argue, and I laughed. I knew it was coming.
I closed my door behind me, locked it, and then turned to Billie. She had a mischievous gleam in her eyes, and I laughed as I pushed her further into my room. I pushed her down onto my bed and then straddled her, taking a few moments to just look at her beautiful face. She gets prettier every time I see her, I swear.
"It's been a while, you know?" I questioned.
"Well, lets fucking fix that, Doe."
***
"You get the best of both worlds!" I screamed as I kicked my feet in the air and then stood up again to jump around with Billie.
She's been over here for a few hours now and it's been the best few hours of this entire week. After having a bit of...fun with each other, we played the Wii and I beat her in almost all the games, then we started watching YouTube videos while we braided each other's hair, then we started having another 'fashion show' using the clothes from my closet just like we did a few months ago. Now, we're doing karaoke. Well, basically we're just screaming old Disney songs together.
"Remember that song 'countdown' from victorious?" She asked breathlessly after the Hannah Montana theme song was over. I plopped down on my bed and caught my breath as I nodded. "That was a bop. Remember that fucking icarly song that was all 'Oh, oh, oh, oh, OH'?" We both laughed as she nodded. "I honestly do!" She grinned.
We got quiet for a few minutes, just enjoying each other's company. She sat on the floor in front of the bed and I played with her hair, watching as her eyes fluttered shut and her facial features relaxed. I smiled as I watched her, just sitting there, breathing in deeply, occasionally humming.
"You're like perfect, in case you didn't know that," I whispered. She opened her eyes and stared up at me. "That's you, baby...I have a gift for you. I think I should give it to you now?"
I tilted my head and watched as she stood up and headed toward my room door. "Stay here." She told me before walking out.
I sat on my bed waiting as patiently as I could for her to get back. I wonder what she got me? I wonder why she got me something. It's not my birthday or anything.
She came back around five minutes later with a beautiful golden box with black lace wrapped around it. I gasped at the sight of the box alone. It's really fucking pretty and I hate to even open it.
"Billieâ"
"Listen, mama," She cut me off quickly, placing the box down beside me and then kneeling between my legs. She grabbed my hands and laced our fingers together, her eyes staring into mine for a few seconds before she started talking again. I could feel my heartbeat quickening as she stared at me, my cheeks flushing. "I'm not really good with this kind of stuff, so I'm sorry if this is awkward or if I'm doing it wrong, but I really like you and IâI got you that." She gestured toward the gift and I looked over at it.
I pulled the lid off slowly and gasped as I saw what was inside. "Billie fucking Eilish what the fuckâ"
"It was 95% off I swear!" She lied. I rolled my eyes and flicked her head before pulling her in for a hug. "I got you that so you could wear it at the Sadie Hawkins dance...You know, if you wanna go? With me."
"Obviously I do!" I screeched. "But I'm paying you back for that."
"No, you're not! It really was on sale!"
I know she's fucking lying. I'll pay her back later whether she wants me to or not.
"We're going to a dance together!" I grinned.
"We're going to a dance together." Billie nodded before planting a kiss on my lips.
