HI! In this Q&A im answering some questions you guys asked me in the comments, in my dm, or on insta!

Okay so I've never done one of these before but...Let's just get into it? 💀

Question 1:

Q. How did you come up with the name of this book?

A. I was watching wrestling one day and there's this character bray wyatt who was doing some creepy shit and it's like he has a kid's show or whatever (lmao it's hard to explain) so I was googling him and I read an article about how his show was kinda like an old scary kid's show called 'don't hug me I'm scared.' So then I looked up the show and I was like...oh...this is cool and that title is everything! Then I ended up writing a song called don't hug me I'm scared which had lots of references to older kid's shows but I haven't finished the song and anywayyy I just thought it was a nice name to call my book lmao.

Question 2:

Q. Other than Billie who are your fave artists? (And what type of music do you like)

A. Whew Chile. My taste in music is really wild. I like pretty much every genre so I love like twenty thousand artists lmao. My absolute faves are Beyonce, Harry Styles, and Billie. I'm a big fan of a lot of other artists but those three are my absolute faves 100%

I like (and this is a long ass list) Tøp, P!ATD, Megan Thee Stallion, MGK, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Swae Lee, The City Girls, BlackPink, Danileigh, Little Mix, 5sos, Jaden Smith, Amine, Bea Miller, Hey Violet, Bring me the Horizon, Andy Black, BØRNS (even tho I wish I didn't like his music bc he's had a whole scandal smh), a small band called Jule Vera, Chloe X Halle, J. Cole, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Solange, Lewis Blissett (even tho he only has like one song out), Finneas ofc, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, etc etc. those aren't even the half they're just the ones I can think of.

I like to listen to all their music and some of them I'm big fans of, some of them I just fw their music. I love pop, alternative, and hip hop the most out of all the genres I think.

I love older artists too. My favorites are Michael Jackson and David Bowie. I love the Beatles, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Abba, and I really like The Beach Boys too 💀 I love disco music, I loveeee Spanish music (and I fucking love Selena Quintanilla), and I actually really like listening to really old music like from the 40s and shit. It's soothing lmaooo

I love some pretty cringey artists and I have quite a few problematic faves too lmao. First of all, lil pump is my lil baby. I love him 💀💀 I like 6ix9ines music I SAID WHAT I SAID ITS CATCHY. I even fuck with Bella thorne's songs lmao. Don't get me started on Bhad Bhabie. I'm sorry, again I said what I said, a lot of her music sounds good to me. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Question 3:

Q. What's your least favorite Genre of music?

A. I honestly don't like to say I don't like a specific genre. It really just depends on the song for me. I don't listen to gospel music like at all, but also I've heard some gospel bops. I don't listen to screamo that much, but when I do bitch Issa bop lmaooo. I used to be obsessed with country and now I don't fuck with it that much, but every now and then I'll get in a country mood and have to get my horses in the back 💀💀💀 so yeah, just depends on the mood and the song for me and I really don't have a least fave genre.

Q. How long have you been writing?

A. I don't know really. I think I've been on wattpad for 7 years so that's probably how long.

Question 5:

Q. Have you been to a Billie concert yet?

A. NO AND IM UPSET ABOUT IT LMAO. She's gonna be coming to Atlanta in June and that's about the closest she'll probably ever get to my town and it's an hour or two drive away which isn't bad, but I don't drive so I wouldn't really have a way there. Plus I'd have to get the money up and I don't see that happening anytime soon. PLUS above all else, I have anxiety and I'm scared to go to a concert. I've had chances to go to other concerts but I've always made an excuse not to because of my anxiety. I think I'd have a lot of fun whenever I got there, but idk man. I'm terrified of being in a really loud, crowded place with thousands of strangers. I get overwhelmed when I'm just in a room with five or ten other people, I can't imagine that lmao. But I also think I'd feel comfortable because Billie and all her fans are dope and seem really sweet.

Question 6:

Q. How do you feel about the Bell twins?

A. The tea is idk them that much. I figured out who they were when I started reading Billie fanfics and they popped up in every damn story 🤦🏽‍♀️💀 and I've only ever heard bad things about them sense. It seems like everyone thinks they were using Billie for clout, and after watching a few of their vids with her, I can totally see it. Especially the one where they said they wouldn't be making vids with her anymore. They talked about how they wouldn't be making vids with a lot of other ppl too, bc ppl didn't care abt their channel or them anymore they just wanted to see their fave celebs or whatever, but they used Billie's name in the title to get views despite the fact that they claimed not to want their channel to be about her anymore. Idk man, idk them or the situation enough to really be judging it, but I'm not really a fan of them. And I know Billie and their whole friend group unfollowed them recently so I guess they're no longer friends which really sucks because I know Billie liked them. I just hope she's not too upset about it/finds some friends who genuinely love her for her! (Nows the time for u to fw me, Bilboa. I legit think we'd be great friends HIT ME THE FUCK UP BITCH)

Question 7:

Q. How do you update a lot/do you have free time a lot?

A. Yeah I have a lot of free time honestly. I'm out of school and I don't go out with my friends that often, just once in a while because social interaction legitimately makes me so tired lmao. I get busy with my family a lot, but on days when I have nothing to do I end up writing as many chapters as I can. Some days I can only write one because I'm lazy or I get writer's block or whatever, some days I can sit and write like six or seven chapters, and then I don't have to write for a few days after that.

When I first started this book I think I did like 25 chapters within a week? I wasn't gonna update so frequently, I was just gonna write all those chapters and update like once a week or something, but I'm too impulsive and impatient for that. Plus, I don't know about y'all but I usually don't read books with only a few chapters. I usually go for the books with 20 or more, so I figured hey, I'll just post all these chapters as soon as I can so the book can have more chapters and hopefully gain more readers!

Question 8:

Q. How old are you?

A. I never reveal my age on here. I started writing when I was really young (and you can tell too because all my old books are trashhhhhhh) and I always pretended I was older because I never wanted anyone to judge me based on my age. I don't want people to think 'oh well she's too young to be writing something like this' or 'isn't she a little too old to like this person or this character enough to write about it?'

But I will say (and this is a whole giveaway) I'm in Billie's age group and I'm not younger than her. I'm less than two years older—

Question 9:

Q. What's your name?

A. Okay now THATS something I'll never tell anyone on here. I think if someone on here knows me irl it's already pretty obvious who I am based on my age, some of the things in the story, and some of the things I've already said in this Q&A. I don't wanna just confirm it lmao. (And my name is pretty unique so uknow) I would tell u u could call me Q bc that's what my middle name starts with, but obviously 'Q' is kinda already taken by Billie's (maybe) boo thang so...🤷🏽‍♀️

Question 10:

Q. How did you come up with this story?

A. I don't have a single idea. Your guess is as good as mine.

I've been a fan of Billie since 2017, but I just got really obsessed™ with her about a month before I made this book. Now, in the past, I've gotten obsessed with people and then scrambled to make a book for them but then I ended up not updating the book anymore cause I slowly got over my little obsession with them and just became a distant fan. I didn't want that to happen with Billie, but after a few weeks I couldn't help it and I had to make a book for her. And I'm still stanning her and I have a lot more ideas for this book so that's good.

I knew I wanted to make a story for her and I actually started making one completely different from this one. She's actually famous in that one and I'd say the plot is pretty interesting, but I got writer's block as soon as I started writing it and I haven't even completed the first chapter for it yet. I've written a little bit and I think it's really good, but it's taking a lot of time for me to write it. But then I got the idea for this book and I started writing and I just kept going and going and going and making a billion damn chapters lmao.

But as for how I came up with the idea of this book...I don't have any idea. I just started writing and this happened.

Question 11:

Q. How do you plan what happens next in this story or do you just do whatever you feel like when you start writing?

A. It's a mixture of planning and doing what I feel like tbh. I've planned out all the biggest things in this book, like the drama. I knew I wanted some beef with Dahlia and her mom, knew I wanted all the shit at the parties to happen, knew I wanted Denver to like Finneas and have all the drama with that, knew I wanted all the Kai drama, all the Luna drama, all the sibling drama between Dahlia and Denver and etc etc. it's what comes between the drama that I don't really plan out. I just know what I want to happen and I write whatever will get me to the point where I can write what I want to happen...if that makes sense?

And a lot of the time I end up changing my plans from what I write, but it makes me feel good that I've got my ideas written down somewhere.

Question 12:

Q. What do you plan after this book? Will there be a sequel or will you write another Billie book?

A: I seriously have a few ideas for a sequel, but I absolutely refuse to say that I'm doing one for sure because I have a bad track record when it comes to writing sequels. I don't think I've ever written one. I've always ended up saying I'll write one but then I get unmotivated and end up not writing it or the sequel has just a few chapters and then I give it up. I don't think that'd happen with this story, but I won't say for sure whether or not there'll be a sequel, and if there is one, I won't be publishing it until I've written 20-30 chapters MINIMUM for it already. Cause seriously, I suck at sticking to my word and writing sequels. I'd wanna be sure I'd actually be able to keep the story going if I did write one.

As I mentioned, I do have another story I'm trying to write for Billie, it's just taking ages because I keep getting writer's block for it. But I definitely see myself writing another book for her.

Question 13:

Q. How long do you think this book will be?

A. I have not a single idea. When I first started writing this I don't think I had a length in mind but I definitely thought it'd be under a hundred chapters. That Is DEFINITELY not going to happen. I'm just gonna say it should be under 150. I don't think there'll be 150, but who the fuck knows at this point lmao. I know where I want this story to end, I just don't know how many chapters it'll take to get there.

Q. Are we just gonna ignore Billie's Tourettes?

A. YES BITCH. Lmaooo. The tea is I don't wanna write about her Tourettes because idk how.

I think that a lot of authors (no tea no shade) write about disorders, disabilities, problems, situations, etc that they don't actually know anything about and I don't think that's good. That's how misinformation, misconceptions and gross stereotypes get spread around. I'm not saying, btw, that you shouldn't write about her tourettes or whatever, I'm just saying that I'm personally not going to because I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that unless I actually sat down and researched it and figured out how to write about it accurately.

I just don't wanna write about something I know nothing about. I can't tell you how many times I've read stories that included things like eating disorders or depression or anxiety or bipolar-disorder or SOMETHING, and I couldn't keep reading because it was cringey/wrong/totally inaccurate. I don't wanna have a story like that. I don't want people to read my shit and be like...damn...this is so wrong it's insane.

That's why I feel weird about writing about abuse, sexual harassment and stuff, but I feel like I have enough knowledge about that to write about it.

Who knows, maybe one day I'll write a book and include her Tourettes, but I'll have to study up on it before I do!

Question 15:

Q. Who are your fave YouTubers?

A. Well the tea is, back in the day my fave was Shane Dawson but I've honestly gotten out of him lately. He was my absolute fave before tho. Now my biggest faves are Zachary Campbell, an absolutely hilarious youtuber I've been watching for a few years. He reviews music, sometimes with his friend Kenneth, and he's hysterical! I think y'all should fuck with him. He's goofy as hell and has his own slang (you gotta watch a lot of his vids to understand it lmao) and Amber Scholl, who does a lot of DIYs and stuff like that. She's so sweet and she makes really glam stuff and I loveee her.

I watch a lot of Audrey Mika too. I mostly just watch her singing vids and she covers a lot of Billie's songs. I love her! I also like the channel 'simgmproductions' because they make a lot of parody's and spoofs. I usually only watch the ones they make about the Kardashians tho.

(EDIT: a couple days after writing that I saw the interview where Billie said this 🥺 is one of her fave emojis and I'm SHOOK. Idk about y'all but I LOVE finding out I have stuff in common with my faves, even if it's just something tiny. But it also hurts my damn heart bc I legit, deadass, 100% think Billie and I would be good friends. We like a lotta the same stuff. Ahs/twd/that emoji/the same type of music/the same artists/etc. also I have blue hair too!! Just my tips. {don't come for me I'm not copying her I've had it for like two or three yrs} and I wanted to dye it purple next but idk. My fave color is blue so I don't wanna get it changed. A. I can honestly say I don't get any annoying comments on this book. Everyone is so nice and funny and it's really nice to see ppl enjoying the book.

A. I really don't have one, but I don't listen to hostage, fingers crossed or six feet under that much. I always end up skipping them (but bitch they sound good asf when I actually listen to them.)

I'm not even about to begin to try to answer. The whole WWAFAWDWG album (damn that's even a long abbreviation) is a bop. The whole don't smile at me EP is a bop.

I will say I think copycat is my fave off that one.

I also love bored/bitches broken hearts a lot (I can't listen to one without listening to the other)

And Bad guy, Xanny, All the good girls go to hell, my strange addiction, 8 and Ilomilo are the songs I listen to the most from the album

And then we have come out and play and I lose my shit every time I hear that.

AND THEN WE HAVE HER UNRELEASED SONG THAT SHE NEEDS TO RELEASE RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.

I think it's just called daddy and she's all like "looks who's sad now, daddy" and issa bop and a vibe. I seriously listen to that lil twenty second snippet like thirty times in a row. I love the beat it seems like such a chill song UGH RELEASE THE SHIT BILBOA DAMN.

A. Bitchhhh I say the randomest shit that nobody else fucking says. First of all, my fave phrase is 'ill shit in yo mouth!' Which I say a lot 💀💀💀 because one of my cousins says it a lot. Any and every time you make him mad he'll say 'I'll shit in yo mouth!!!' And he done got me started saying it.

I also say 'yeety eskeety' a lot. Don't ask me what it means cause I don't even kno. I say 'I'm upsetti in my baguetti' a lot, I say 'u frickn frick!!!! When will u learn?!!!' A lot bc of that vid of the kid screaming all high pitched about sonic. It's the sonic rant vid and it's hilarious af.

I say tons of other weird shit that I can't remember rn.

Q. When and where do you like to write the most?

A. I rarely write outside my room. Because I don't leave my fuckn room, for one thing.

I usually end up writing rlly early in the morning or real late at night. I like writing at night bc I get to turn my blue or red light on and issa vibe.

A. I did! (I graduated earlier this month)

Q. If this book's name is based off the show what is your favorite episode?

A. I have no idea! I know for a fact that I've seen the show before but I don't remember a single thing from it and I wasn't a big fan of it I just watched it like once or twice.

Q. Do you play any sports or have any hobbies other than writing?

A. I didn't play any sports when I was in school because i was always too shy/scared to try out and I'm pretty sure I suck at sports. My hobbies other than writing are pretty lame lmao. I like to read, listen to music, watch tv, all that normal shit. I also like to edit and write music! I write songs that I can sing and I write songs I can rap bc I'm not actually a good singer lmao.

Funny story tho. Billie inspired me to start writing music. I've always wanted to but never thought I could but one day I was listening to my strange addiction and even though that's not even like my favorite song of hers, its just so beautiful IMO. Like the words just go so perfectly together and the lyrics are amazing and I listened to it like forty times in a row and thought...well shit I wanna write songs as beautiful as this one! (Not possible, but u know) So I wrote my first song I think a little over a month ago and I've written (or started writing) like twenty since!

Q. What's your favorite blanket?

A. Bitchhh I love a faux fur blanket. As long as it's fluffy and warm I'm good. I HATE being hot, I hate summer, I hate heat. My mom is the same way and so our house is always air conditioned all year round and it's always freezing, so I'm always cuddled up under a nice blanket.

Q. How'd you get the courage to write? I wanna write but I know I'm not good enough.

A. Bitch I'm not good enough either tf? I'm proud of my writing now because it's better than how I used to write, but I DEF need some work. Just write whatever you want and post it babe. When I first started writing I didn't tell anyone anything about me (unless it was a whole lie. Like I pretended to be older/and from England. That was some bs u ain't even gotta do all that shorty.) but I felt more comfortable because I knew nobody rlly knew who I was. If I'd made an account on here with my actual name and my actual info and let my friends read and shit, I would NOT have stuck to writing. That's so scary to me, having ppl I know read my shit. Idk why but it is.

So, the one thing that made me comfortable enough to write and publish my work is the fact that nobody rlly knew me. Idk if that's the case for u, but it helped me. Also, write whatever u want and be proud of it. And ik when u first start writing it's intimidating cause u might not know all the rules to grammar and shit, but u gotta start somewhere. Even tho you'll probably cringe when u look back at ur old work (I know I fuckn do) it'll be a great reminder of how far you and your writing has come.

Just don't put pressure on ur self to be the perfect writer, write for yourself just as much as you're writing for others, and have fun. Don't try to force anything. And don't let a hating ass bitch spoil ur spirit either. 🖤
