Don't Hug Me I'm Scared {Billie Eilish}
Dahlia's POV
************
After taking the packages that needed to be shipped to the post office, I went to my house and changed into my cheetah print pajamas before grabbing a bag and packing another two pairs, all my essentials, and my favorite blankets and pillows, plus my sleeping bag.
I grabbed my laptop, iPad, chargers, Prince styles and some stuff for him, and my school bag too. Just in case. Did I overpack? Yes, absolutely. Could I have just left all this shit and walked back over here if I needed it since it's literally just next door? Sure. But I didn't. So, let's move on.
I shoved all the stuff in my car and decided to drive next door since it was too much for me to carry in just one trip and I'm lazy. Since their driveway is kinda full, I think I'll just unload all my stuff and then drive my car back over to my house.
Billie sent Petrillo with me after school, and I'm putting her and Capone, and Cadence's baby, Samantha, in the storage unit in my back yard until this weekend is over. Is that a shitty thing to do? Obviously. Am I still gonna do it, though? Obviously. Again, let's move on.
I dialed Cadence's number once I was in her driveway and she picked up after two rings. "I brought a lot of stuff, dude. Come help me?"
"Be out in thirty seconds!"
Seeing as I'm an hour and a half late, everyone else is already here. It's awkward being the last one to come in, but whatever.
"Denny and the boys were here earlier and they've already left. They're all staying at Billie's house for the weekend. And they all seemed to really be hitting it off while they were here! They mentioned some Lazer tag and paintball and shit." Cadence told me as she helped me carry all my stuff to one of the spare rooms where everybody else's stuff was.
"Damn, I wanna go play paintball!" I whined.
"We'll have plenty of chances to cover each other in paint some other time," She snickered. "But this weekend, it's all about bonding and building our friendships up andâAnd eating hella! My parents are out, as usual, but they made a huge seafood boil before they left. I asked everybody if they liked seafood and everyone does, so this is gonna be dope!"
"You're right about that!" I grinned.
When we finished putting all my stuff into the spare room, I picked up Prince Styles and we walked into Cadence's room.
Cadence's room is huge, just like this whole house. You'd think Cadence was richer than Billie with how huge and fancy looking their house is. They've got six bedrooms, marble counters, chandeliers and shit. It's amazing.
Cadence's room has beautiful dark wood floors, white walls, a chandelier hanging above her bedâwhich happens to be huge too. I bet five of us could sleep up there! Her bed has a fluffy white comforter and pillows on it, and it looks super comfy.
Everyone was sitting on the floor leaning up against the bed when we walked in. They all greeted me and I hugged everybody before sitting next to Julia's sister, Jessica.
"Okay, so what do you guys wanna do?" Cadence asked, practically bouncing around in excitement.
"I vote we play with the kitty!" Jessica squealed as she talked in a baby voice and reached a hand out to pet Prince Styles. I smiled as I handed him to her. He seems to like all the attention he gets from new people, so I didn't worry too much about him as I turned my attention to Julia who was sitting on the other side of Jessica.
"Hey," I greeted her. "I just wanted to say that I'm looking forward to talking to you this weekend. I think we should get to know each other, you know?"
"I'd like that!" She grinned, scooting closer to me. "What do you wanna talk about first?"
"Well, first I just wanted to say that I'm really happy for you and Denver. I mean, I'm sure this isn't exactly what you two wanted, but I think you'll be great parents! If you need anything at all, I'm here. Don't tell Denny, but I'm already starting to buy the baby some stuff!"
"That's so sweet, Dahlia! Thanks." She smiled. "You can come to me if you need anything too. I know we don't know each other that well, but I guess we're family now, huh?"
"Yeah." I nodded. "So, I was asking Denny what to talk to you about because I was really nervous about this," I laughed. "And he mentioned that you like Kpop? I'm trying to get into that, and so far I've only listened to BLACKPINK."
"Oh, honey," She smirked, looking at Jessica as she scooted closer to us, looking interested. "We'll end up talking about Kpop this whole weekend! Let's start with the basics. BTS."

Thank fucking Christ.
I spent, like, six hours talking to Julia and Jessica. I can't stop thinking both God and Jesus that my wish came true. Julia wasn't bad at all after getting to know her. She's actually really funny, seems way smarter than I thought before, and we have the same sense of humor and a lot of the same interests! I mean, it's crazy how much we really seem to have in common, and she's only a year older than I am, so I can totally see us becoming really good friends.
Jessica is really cool too, and I think I like her even more than Julia! She's seventeen and we have a lot of the same interests too. She and Kai seem to be good friends already too, and that's great because they're gonna be living together!
I couldn't stop thinking about how proud I am of myself the whole time I was talking to Julia and Jessica. One of my biggest goals was to make more friends this school year and I've definitely succeeded in doing that.
I mean, Hudson, Bea, Kai, Julia, and Jessica. I'd even consider Gigi and Ken good friends of mine now too! And, of course, Billie.
I've made a lot of friends and I'm happy about that. It used to be really hard for me to talk to people, but now it's pretty easy.
"Oh my god, if Caden was here he'd freak!" Cadence gasped as she put some more food onto the large dining room table. We finally decided to eat, and I think we're all pretty excited.
The twins' parents made Billie some Vegan food, which she seemed pretty excited for as the rest of us began to fix plates full of seafood.
"I don't think I've ever been so happy to eat in my whole entire life!" Bea told her. Billie nodded quickly before shoving some more pasta into her mouth. "Holy hell!" She muffled around a mouth full.
"Yo, this is the biggest claw meat I've ever seen!" Jessica grinned before digging in. It was mostly silent as we all ate, too distracted by the food to really say anything.
I ate until I felt so full that I could pass out, and I still had half a plate to get through! I couldn't wait until the next time I got hungry.
When we all finished, we headed back to Cadence's room and began putting our pillows, blankets and sleeping bags on the floor. We're gonna watch a movie after we get everything set up, but I'm pretty sure we're all gonna fall asleep halfway through it. It's been a long day.
After we had made the floor as comfortable as we could, we all sat down. I laid down between Billie and Jessica while Kai got on the other side of Billie and Julia got on the other side of Jessica.
I don't know why none of us decided to get on Cadence's bed. I guess it's just fun being on the floor at sleepovers?
"This is cute." Billie smirked as she pulled on my fuzzy, pink sleep mask which was resting on my forehead.
"Oh, shut up," I rolled my eyes as I rested my head in the palm of my hand and stared up at her as she sat up. "Your pajamas are actually cool." I complimented.
She's wearing black pajamas with fuzzy, neon green 'Mike Wazowski's all over them. Love that for her.
"I know right," She chuckled. "I made Finneas buy them for me. He got a matching pair."
"Okay guys, what do we feel like watching? Something romantic? Something nostalgic? Something scary?"
"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to make demands, but I demand we watch high school musical three." Claudia grinned from beside Julia. They seem to be getting along really well too! They seem to be hitting it off really well.
"I second that!" Bea shouted.
"High school musical three it is!" Cadence laughed.
