Epilogue

Tanvi's P.O.V.

"Happy 1 year baby", a voice said.

"Huh?" I mumbled out as I rubbed my eyes. It's only 12 a.m.

"Are you still sleepy?" He asked as arms wrapped around me pulled me closer to a warm body. I nodded against his body and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Happy anniversary Arjun", I mumbled out sleepily.

"I'm so happy baby, I can't express my happiness in words", he said as I opened my eyes. I gave him a lazy smile and leaned my head on his shoulders.

"I love you so much baby", he said as he smothered kissed all over my face before pecking my lips.

"I love you too Arjun", I said before falling asleep.

"I'm so happy to have you in my life", I heard Arjun mumbled softly before finally falling asleep.

"Happy anniversary to you both!", Our family screamed. We both smiled as we stared at our family.

Today, Arjun took me on a date where we spoke about a lot of things, enjoyed a lot and when we returned, our family decided to surprise us.

"I'm so happy you were able to survive one year with her", Yash joked as she hugged me.

"Tell me about it! It was the most hectic year of my life", Arjun joked as his stared at me.

"Oh please Yashvi, I should ask this to Tanvi, Arjun can be a baby sometimes", Sonia said as she flicked Arjun's head and hugged me. Sonia's eyes held an emotion as she gave me the gift. I groaned internally.

"It's a sweet revenge Tanvi", she whispered in my ears and went inside the kitchen with a smirk.

As the cake was placed in front of us. I smiled as Arjun placed his hand on top of mine as he guided our hands and cut a slice and fed it to each other.

"But Sonia!", I whined. So it was dinner time and Sonia thinks it's better of the couple, Arjun and I eat together, feeding each other.

"Tanvi, that's a tradition"

"Really? Because I didn't see it during your first wedding anniversary! Not that I wouldn't enjoy doing this", Arjun said. I elbowed him at this comment.

"Come on, why are you so shy Tanvi?"

"Because--", before I could finished the sentence, I was yanked in Arjun's embrace as he settled us down on one chair.

"Arjun, I swear--", Arjun being the best husband he is shoved a piece of cake in my mouth. I glared at him as I ate the cake.

"Awe, aren't my babies cute?", Mom gushed as she clicked a picture.

"Mom!", I whined out loud as I hid my red face in Arjun's chest which rumbled as he laughed out loud.

"Stop laughing asshole", I whisper-yelled in his ears.

"Thank you so much guys!", I thanked everyone as I was heading towards the bedroom.

"Nonsense! What's there to thank us!" Mom said.

"I love you all", I said before closing the bedroom door.

"Where's my gift baby?", Arjun asked me as he leaned his head against the headboard.

"Where's my gift?"

He smiled at me before he motioned for me to come to him. I reluctantly walked to him. He motioned for me to close my eyes which I happily did and then I felt something cold around my neck.

When I opened my eyes, I gasped as I stared at it. It was a small heart shaped locket which had the words "arvi" carved on it. When I opened the heart locket. It had two pictures of us on either sides. The both of them when I was smiling as he kissed my cheeks.

"I hope you liked my gift", he said as he leaned his forehead against mine. I nodded my head.

"I loved it", I said.

"Well then where's my gift?"

"Wait here and close your eyes", I said before disappearing in the closet and returning back with the gift.

"Open you eyes" the moment his eyes opened, he gasped as he stared in my hands.

"No way! Tell me you didn't get what I'm thinking you got"

"Yes I did", I chuckled as I walked closer.

"You got me a dog!"

I laughed out loud as Arjun held the puppy in his hands. The puppy cuddled closer to Arjun and he just started at the pup with adoration.

"I love you so much baby", he said as I settled down next to him with the dog cart in my hands.

"What's his name?"

"I didn't name him yet", I said.

He pelted kisses on the the dog's face before placing him the cart so the dog could sleep.

I slid closer to him as I rested my back against his chest and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"I'll have to think of a name for this dog", he said. I smiled before taking his hands in my hands and placed then on my lower stomach.

"Think of names Arjun"

"What?"

"Well, who's going to name this little one then?", I said as I pressed lightly on the lower stomach with his hands still in mine. He stilled. Stopped breathing. He pulled his hands away from me and got up as he turned away. I could see his shoulders shaking lightly.

"You know, because I love you a lot, I'm giving you the freedom to name our child", I said as I smiled while staring at his back.

He slowly turned around and knelt down. Tears fell from his eyes as he held my hands in his. Tears welled in my eyes as I stared at him.

"Our child?" He asked as he cried. I nodded my head and wiped his tears away before holding his face in my face.

"I'm going to be a father?" I nodded.

"You're going to be a mother?" I nodded.

"We're going to be parents?" I nodded.

Tears welled in his eyes once again as he processed the information.

"Our baby", he said as he sniffled. He wrapped his arms around me and smothered kissed all over my stomach.

"I'm going to be a dad, I'm going to be your dad", he said as he spoke to my stomach. I laughed out as he did so.

He pulled me closer to his body and hugged me tightly.

"I love you so much, I am so happy, I just.."

"I love you too Arjun, I know how you feel, I went through it yesterday when I took the test", I said as I wrapped my arms around him.

"I'm so thankful to god that I married you! It's only been one year and I can't stop loving you more everyday. I'm waiting for more years to come. More years of loving you. More years of caring for you. I love you so so so much baby", he told me and I couldn't control my tears as I let them fall freely.

"Stop being so sweet", I mumbled as I sniffled.

"But my baby deserves all the sweet things in the world", he said as he kissed my head.

"I love you Arjun", I said as I snuggled closer to him.

"I love you too baby"

Really Arjun and Tanvi!? Stop making me feel even more single than I already am!

Gosh! The amount of times they have said I love you in this chapter.

Anyways, I hope you guys are doing great. My quarantine is ruined because one guy in my building died from Covid-19 and one of the lady tested positive. Urgh! This is honestly frustrating me.
