Chapter 101 Jealous

"I want to have some entertainment" The lady pouted as the man smirked with a new plan in his head to have fun. He took his phone to send another message to his new puppet. They both sat in front of the big screen where the engagement function was going live.

"I wonder if she has the same skill of her mother" The man mumbled as he typed the message.

"Give a dance performance"

He recalled earlier days when Clara's mom, Stella gave a dance performance on a stage. Stella looked like an angel in that red dress.

Clara read the message as her orbs enlarged in horror. Who the hell is playing with her? She is sure that the person is having fun to torture her. Who would do such a thing? She is even scared to discuss this with anyone. Jason looked at her changed expressions as he came to her side instantly to see what she is up to?

"Anything bothering you?" Jason asked all worried.

Clara felt sweat in her forehead. She tried not to be so obvious but she knew that she failed. Jason was hell tensed to see her in this state.

"Clara, you, okay?" He cupped her cheeks and that surely helped her to calm down for a bit. She took a deep breath and decided to let the drama on. She needs to act along till she finds the perfect time to take someone's help.

"Can you dance with me?' The moment Clara asked this, Jason froze. Did she even know that Alex was murdering Jason just because he is standing beside his wife? Jason is not even sure what he would do if Jason agreed to dance with his wife.

"Please." She mumbled with her pleading eyes. Jason knew one thing for sure that she wouldn't do anything without any reason. So, he gently grabbed her to have a beautiful dance with his friend. He could even see Alex walking to the centre already. The people were alarmed with the sudden dance from Clara's side while the young men were hypnotised with her movements. Clara never danced like this openly but that single chandelier incident scared shit out of her and she doesn't want to risk it. Though her legs are not cooperating with her, her curvy waves made the people go mad with her talent. Jason made sure she didn't put much effort into her leg which is hurt.

He tried not to look at Alex's side but he could feel the fire from his gaze already which burnt his back. The music was changed to match their performance.

"I don't know why you are doing this. But if it's to make your husband jealous, you are on the right path" Jason said while Clara lifted her lashes to see Alex and was stunned to see him angry. Is he really jealous? Damn, why didn't she try this trick earlier? Should she take this opportunity to make him fall for her?

Clara wrapped her arms around Jason's neck and that's it. Alex lost his cool as he walked fast towards them taking long strides. Within a few seconds, Clara found herself in Alex's arms. Both Alex and Clara were shocked with this but Alex now was mad with her action. He grits his teeth as he looks sharply at her.

"I thought your flirtations were limited to me only" Alex whispered near her ears and Clara was stunned with his closeness. Damn she felt trapped in his web and couldn't even open her mouth to give a reply. She calmed down a bit as she lifted her eyes at him.

"I like hot guys. So can't help" She replied back with a smirk on her lips while his hold on her waist tightened showing his dark side which Clara has never seen yet.

"So, you do think that I am hot!" His words made her weak by their knees. She didn't even blink as she was staring at his dark orbs.

"If you want to dance, you could have asked me. Why bother your friend?" Alex asked, showing his displeasure towards her actions.

Alex had a small smile on his lips when he saw the effect of his words on her. He was a number one flirt back then with Sana. Alex is now not sure how Clara would be able to bear that Alex.

"Are you jealous?" Clara asked instantly and that's when Alex realised what he was doing.

He leisurely twirled her and ended the beautiful dance by holding her again.

Alex is shocked as he realizes what he is ready to do now. Is he going to trouble her with his flirts? He looked at her innocent face and found no reason to deny such a tempting offer. Maybe Mac is right. He shouldn't push his feelings too much. Clara is not like an ordinary girl who would wait for him forever. She would walk away when her tiny brain makes a crooked plan.

The clapping sounds of the audience helped them to come out of the spell. Alex had a very clear face now. He knew what he would do now and he is grateful that he realized it soon.

Alex helped Clara come to the corner and took a chair for her. All the while, Clara couldn't help but to gaze at his every movement. She forgot about those threatening messages as she was living in a small dream world with her Alex.

"Our plan was not with Clara or Elsa" the woman in that dark room reminded the man again while he couldn't agree to it more.

"Stella, remember?" The man asked, showing the picture while the lady looked at the picture.

"The one who slapped me in front of all the people just because I tried to dance with her. This is her daughter, Clara. So, taking this opportunity to take revenge" the man was very clear of his actions. Stella and this man met a few times earlier in their college days. Stella was bold, courageous and what not. Every guy would die to be with her. But she always had this attitude to teach them a lesson if they crossed their line. She had no clue of this man when she slapped him.

The man didn't meet her after that but when he met Clara, he had this weird longing to end his revenge. Even though he had another dangerous plan to do, he couldn't leave Clara. She was an exact copy of Stella.

"We can't waste time. So, get back to the main problem we have" the lady reminded him as he took a deep breath. Enough of childish games. Time for real fun.

The priest gently asked the bride and groom to exchange the rings and that's when the audience shifted their gaze to the actual stars from Alex and Clara.

"Why did you create this drama here?" Alex asked as he knew that Clara is not someone to act recklessly. He felt something behind this action.

"Are you embarrassed?" Clara asked in her low voice.

"You are not aware of my thoughts on this. More than anyone here, I am the only person who could relate to your actions." His words are low and husky. Clara was stunned to know this for sure. Is he implying that he has no complaint about her actions? Is he implying that he can well connect to her behaviour?

"Mac used to say that he sometimes gets confused about who is who between us" Alex chuckled. Maybe everyone feels the same that Alex and Clara have the same nature.

"But my actions would have less sound and huge drama." Alex proudly raised his eyebrows.

"As in?" Clara asked to see what exactly he can do that she can't.

"I love to show my ways of payback to you" Alex spoke with puzzles in his words.

"Do you mind having some fun in this engagement?" Alex asked and Clara couldn't find any reason to deny such an offer. He had a weird smirk on his face and Clara could see the danger behind it already. She has already done enough damage. So, it would be good if she leaves the place peacefully.

"I don't want to create anything now. We shall leave the place." Clara is suddenly scared of his aura. His words and features were scaring the shit out of her.

"Do you know what I did with Sandy back then?" Alex asked leisurely while sitting beside her. Alex never opened up about this to anyone. He felt it so right to tell these to Clara. She won't judge him for sure.

"When he confessed that he did everything, I was the one to publish all articles related to him to slander his image." The moment Alex confessed to those; Clara was shocked. No one would do that to even his enemies. And here Sandy was his friend for God's sake.

Alex was too guilty and that's why he is not bothering Sandy now. Clara now could see what extent he could go if someone comes to his wrong side. When Sandy, who was his everything, could get such harsh punishment, Clara is not sure what he would do to other people.

"I was wrong. But I won't leave people if they hurt me or my family" The moment he told her the reason, Clara's eyes went wide in horror.

Before she could even connect the dots, the phones of Ron and Elsa rang at the same time while the big screen of the hall started playing on its own.

Clara was too shocked to react. Is it something related to Alex? Did he do something? But why does he have to do anything with Elsa and Ron?

"And You are my family" Alex whispered as her face went pale as chalk. She looked at Elsa and Ron who had a very horrified expression while Elena stood there like a corpse seeing the content on the screen.

"I will destroy everyone whoever hurt you" His words though made her feel safe, she was scared to death to imagine her family crumbling down because of her.
