Chapter 109 Accident

"Damn, it's 10." Alex was perplexed as he never misses his meetings or morning schedules. Clara who was sleeping in his arms groaned with his sudden movement. His lips curved up to a smile seeing her beautiful face.

"it's actually 12." Clara replied with a teasing smile without opening her eyes, startling Alex. He checked his phone and found out that his watch was not working. It's actually afternoon.

"Mac would be so mad" Alex mumbled as he tried to get up from the bed but Clara pulled him again with a glare.

"Choose. Me Mac" Her words made him dumbfounded. Is it Clara? Or some lover girl ghost?

"There are no options if it is you" Alex's words made her blush and she hugged him tightly.

"Today they will tease me for sure." Alex mumbled but had no heart to leave his new wife there.

"I will make sure no one teases you. It's Clara's promise" Alex giggled at her words.

"Fine. I am sorry" Sandy apologized to Rose instantly bringing a bright smile to her lips. She winked at him as she gave his keys to him.

"Next time, I won't forgive you. So, remember." Her threatening words made him sigh. She has changed a lot. She was so naive and soft back then. But now her actions are a little scary and Sandy knows that he can't have his way as always with her. He should check her mood and act accordingly.

"It seems your brother left our home already" Sandy changed the topic cleverly.

"No. He is here only" Rose exclaimed with a smile.

"I didn't see him at the breakfast table," Sandy asked instantly. If he is here, why didn't he come down to have their food?

Just when both Clara and Alex walked down having their hands intertwined.

"Are you here for breakfast?" Rose asked, gaping at them, seeing the clock which strikes 2 in the afternoon. Alex glared at his sister to stop her words while Clara couldn't lift her face to see them.

"What did you do to skip your breakfast?" Sandy couldn't keep his mouth shut when it came to teasing his new sister.

"Do you really want to know what we did?" Clara's yet another reply made the guys go crazy. Alex pressed her hand while she was in no mood to stop it now. No one should mess with her for sure.

"Should I explain how he made my day special? Or should I explain how we enjoyed our cute dinner or something more than that?" Clara asked as both Clara and Alex walked to his side while Sandy was numb with her bold words.

"We don't want to hear anything. Stop it" Rose screamed as she was smiling broadly seeing them together also how her brother was blushing hard with Clara's words. Clara has this power to make Alex blush.

"You should know, Rose." Clara grabbed her to her side.

"I mean, I am hundred percent sure that no one could make such efforts that Alex took

to impress his wife. I feel so special." Clara took a u turn already to pay back a little for her new brother with whatever he started.

"He is damn sweet. Who would prepare everything just for their wives?" Clara asked and Sandy smirked showing that she indeed failed in this attempt "It was originally Sunny's idea" Rose mumbled with pink shade cheeks.

"See that's the difference." Clara made Rose sit there with a smirk back at Sandy.

"I love getting pampered by Alex. And he knew that. But in your case, you would be even happier if it's between you and him. But Sandy always did what he felt was right. But Alex puts me in his priority" The moment Clara mentioned the difference, Sandy froze to the spot. He shouldn't have teased her in the first place. He slowly looked at his wife who was already at the verge of crying with fire eyes. Consoling rose is the worst work for anyone.

Alex started laughing out loud, making Sandy madder.

"Don't fly too high. Rose is my one and only love but, in your case, you are a second- hand product" Sandy didn't want to take this normal teasing into a war zone. But Alex's laughter makes the devil in him wake up.

"I don't mind not being his first love. But I would make sure I am the last one" Her words made Alex so special. She always positively takes everything and for some moments, Sandy felt so happy to see them together that he failed to notice his wife who went inside his room with a huge frown already.

"Guess we have to have our lunch alone. Our poor Sandy will be busy consoling his wife." Clara poked her tongue, making Alex laugh at Sandy more.

They are simply like Tom and Jerry types of siblings. Alex just wished that he could come inside this circle again so that they could have so much fun as before.

The hospital corridor was all silent till Bella came running inside with her loud sobs. Ron too followed her with a worried face.

Clara stood there shocked to even enter the room. Her face is of pure horror. Alex gently wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Don't worry. She is alright." Alex mumbled near her ears as he helped her to take her inside the room where Bella is crying continuously.

"Sister. I am fine" Alina beamed, giving enough hope to Bella and Clara who seemed to have lost their sane mind seeing Alina in this state.

"Are you nuts?" Clara yelled at Alina as she got to her side with tears in her eyes.

"What did you think when you came in front of the car?" Clara asked as tears rolled down her cheeks. Alina too sobbed as she couldn't keep her face unaffected for so long. It was indeed a terrific accident but thanks to God that Edward pulled her at the right moment and she was hurt a little only.

"I was scared when the car was about to hit our Paxton" Alina replied, closing her face with her hand. More than the scratch she got in her arms, she felt her head spinning like a wheel recalling that incident. She would never forgive herself if something happens to Paxton.

"Paxton?" Clara asked all shocked to even hear this.

"He is fine," Edward assured her.

"But Alina has to get hospitalised for some days till her blood pressure comes in control" Edward added with a painful tone as he sat beside Alina caressing her palm.

"Our baby is fine too. So don't worry." Edward added as he could see how much Clara is terrified with this incident. They shouldn't get scared so that they could help Alina come back to a normal state.

Alex got a cup of coffee for Clara and sat beside her.

"don't worry. Everything will be alright." Alex tried to console her but she hugged him suddenly as she sobbed a little.

"Alina and Paxton are my life. I wouldn't exist if it was not for Alina and Paxton. I am scared now." Clara genuinely spoke as Alex gently stroked her hair.

"I will personally check on them from now on. Happy?" He asked as she blinked many times to recall his words. That can't be happening. He is one busy person and there is no way he would do something like this.

"There is nothing important when it is for you." His words made her believe that actually her happy peaceful days started in her life and she would cherish each and every moment of it.

"I love you" She mumbled as she pecked his lips again and Alex just smiled at her.

Clara entered the washroom and washed her face after an exhausting crying session. If Edward didn't save Alina, she would have gotten into a serious accident and Clara shivered with the thought itself. The baby inside her womb would have got hurt. It's really their good deed that saved Alina today.

Clara wiped her face and checked the mirror and suddenly the lights went off startling her. She hates darkness and she started shivering as the light didn't come even after some seconds. She touched the wall and tried to get out of the washroom before her condition worsens.

But a strong pull made her fall flat over the tiles with a thud. Clara was so startled that she screamed out of fear. But her mouth was closed instantly.

"Relax Doll" The voice was deep and it screamed danger every inch of it. Clara was so shocked and she was paralyzed for a moment.

"You did wrong by challenging me." His words made her widen her eyes. Is it the same guy who was blackmailing her earlier? Clara starts wriggling in his arms but he has no idea to free her.

"If I drive the car, the target wouldn't be missed. Thank my driver who has poor eyesight" The moment the words hit her ears; she froze to the spot. Clara couldn't react for anything. Is it all planned? This guy seemed dangerous but that instant she realized that he is not just dangerous but a psycho. Who the hell would have the heart to hurt a kid or a pregnant lady?

"Here is your new phone. Answer my call without any delay. Because next time, I won't miss the target" He mumbled and pushed her in force. Soon the lights came back. But Clara sat there hyperventilating. She thought that Elena was one devil. But she realized that Elena is nothing before this guy.
