Chapter 11 Dare You Touch Me

So many betrayals, so many miseries. But life must still move on. Clara looked at the dark sky with no energy left inside her. Her father didn't even find it necessary to inform her about the company. He didn't even care to check if she was fine here or not. All of a sudden, she felt so lonely that she wanted to end her life. The thought was overwhelming but she knew that she won't give up that easily.

She stood up with a smile. She is happy about the victory in the interview. She wanted to believe that her good days were yet to come and it had begun this way.

Clara entered her room and stumbled suddenly. She put the lights on and widened her eyes looking at the arrangements. There was rose and rose and rose, everywhere. The candles in the room made them appear like about perfect romantic date.

The wall glitters with stars as the large frame in the centre highlights the arrangement. Her marriage picture where they exchanged rings. Alex's words rang in her ears as she stood there shocked. He is not serious, isn't it?

"Don't be sad, dear. Alex will be here in an hour. It's just formality. We don't want to skip any function just because the marriage didn't happen as we wished for." Grace spoke as she grabbed Clara from her thoughts.

"Don't push away happiness. Embrace them with a smile." Grace kissed her forehead and left the room.

After some time.

Clara was dressed up in a silver shining knee-length gown gifted by Rose. If she hadn't snapped at him like that, he wouldn't have blackmailed her. Isn't it? Clara cursed herself like hell. But nothing can be done now. She heard his car sound. Okay, that is too bad now. He is already there.

Alex walked to his home in a soulful mood. Meeting Sandy after years is not doing good for his mood. And the conversation was too much to bear. His words were ringing inside his head and his heart constrained painfully.

He didn't even notice the darkness of his room as he dashed inside as his hand grabbed his tie to loosen his shirt. It is suffocating for sure.

Soon he was grabbed into a corner with force, making him widen his eyes. Did he come somewhere else?

"Who the hell?" Alex snarled loudly as if pouring his anger out with his words.

The lights went on as he knew the two-way switch which was just behind his shoulders where he was cornered. He widened his eyes looking at the petite frame trying to do something to him. For a moment he just examined her actions.

Clara was trying to tie Alex with a large rope and her hair went messy with her actions which covered her face. Her cute eyes peeped out occasionally and Alex just went blank with her actions. He didn't wriggle or try to escape as he let her do anything. He wanted to tuck those hair behind her ears but his hands were already tied up by his fierce wife.

Her shining attire looked too cute and her perfect curves made him lose his senses for a while.

But why is she doing this?

"Are you mad?" Alex asked in a low voice and for some seconds she was scared to even reply to him. This guy surely has a strong aura.

"Dare you touch me." She snapped and that's when he remembered his talks with her early in the morning. Alex couldn't help but smile at her actions and soon his smile changed to laughter.

"You think that you have properly tied me?" Alex asked as in a flap of seconds, he dodged the rope and grabbed her waist to his side. She widened her eyes with his fast action but before she could come out from the shock, he lifted her and reached the bed.

"Do you still want to see my dare to touch you?" He asked, fanning her cheeks as her whole face turned flushed.

"Leave me" Clara yelled as she wriggled in his arms.

"I will shout and call everyone here. Leave me" Clara was continuously wriggling in his

arms.

"I want to see how they all react if you call them. Come on." Alex kept her carefully in the bed as he didn't leave her both hands. She looked at him shocked as she realised how she was locked by him. She neither can try to escape nor can kick him.

"If you don't leave me now, trust me you will regret it." Clara snapped angrily as she started trembling a bit realizing that he was way stronger than him.

Seeing her state, he loosened his grip and stood away from the bed. He is not an evil person to do anything. He was just pulling her legs but it does go overboard now.

"I am neither interested in you nor marriage" Alex spoke after a long pause. He needs to get this clear.

"Why did you even marry me then? To play ludo?" Clara can't keep her mouth shut especially when someone is talking nonsense like this.

"Not Ludo. If you say, we can play something else" Alex kind of liked to pull her legs. He wanted to see how she replied. He found it interesting to see her nose flare up in anger when his words reached her tiny brain.

"Yeah, maybe a haunted game? You just lay down in a box and wait till I open them" Clara yelled at him as Alex laughed softly. She is really a package. He didn't remember the last time he had such laughter.

"Do you snap at everyone like this?" Alex is amused by her way of talking. She is extremely opposite to Elsa and Alina. Elsa always finds an opportunity to flirt with him and Alina is a perfect cute little sister who always pampers him and gets pampered by him.

"Not everyone. Only people like you" Clara yelled at him as everything took a toll on her. She finally had a chance to show her anger. She knew that here no one was like Elena who would punish her evilly.

"If it's not you, I would be still in my home and my company would be " Clara stopped abruptly. He doesn't need to know the details for sure. She has never opened up about her miseries even with Jason. Why should she tell them to him?

"If you are so desperate to marry, you should have chosen Elsa's grandmother. She is single and trust me, she would be a perfect match for you" Clara doesn't know what she is saying as losing her company to Elsa made her like a mad girl. And Alex is her target now.

"I don't see any difference now" Alex smirked at her as her nose flared up in anger with his words. Does she look like that old cunning grandma to him?

"Of course, you don't even know who was your bride and who was her sister back then. Such a " Clara again stopped using any language. She knew for sure that this man was very bad if she came on his wrong side.

Alex raised his eyebrows at her words. Of course, that's what their first meeting was. But wait a second.

Did she know that Alex was about to put the necklace over her neck? Alex felt so stupid to get caught like that.

"Such an?" Alex asked dangerously as he closed near Clara. She is one hell of a girl who has communicated with him this long and that too without any fear. Did he just give the vibe of a good guy till now? Should he show how dangerous he can be? Clara blinked away from him as her state right now is very vulnerable and she doesn't want to cry in front of this man ever.
