Chapter 111 Just trust

'Blame Roselyn Fernandez for leaking information in Sandy's office." Clara read the message and there is no surprise or shock in her eyes as she already calculated this move when she stole the file from Sandy's room. She walked with a smile and her mannerism was changed. It's as if she is challenging the person to do more. It's as if she has thrown the fear emotion away from her body.

"Royal hospital" Alex messaged Clara and explained how Sandy's father was admitted due to the loss. Clara turned her route and drove her car toward the hospital where Alex was waiting for her already.

Clara entered the area and was shocked to see the state of Sandy. He was crying like a kid. Clara tried not to get emotional but she couldn't, as her eyes reflected some tears already.

The shocker of the universe came when Sandy hugged Alex. It was not at the peak of emotions or anything. Sandy knew what he was doing and he wanted to have Alex by his side. Maybe the absence of Alex's warmth during his mom's loss made him so stone-hearted.

Alex and Sandy's bond is something that no one could understand at a glance. Clara didn't waste a single second as she walked toward Rose and asked something that made the guys shocked.

"What do you mean?" Roselyn was more than shocked now.

"Why did you give that file to Daniel?" Clara asked in clarity as everything was muted for Sandy. Yes, the project was banged by Daniel who was about to get engaged to Rose back then.

"Why are you asking like this?" Roselyn is too naive to even get offended by this accusation. Her tears and words tore Clara alive. She doesn't want to hurt Rose. But at the same time, she can't afford to hurt anyone else also.

"Clara, stop it" Alex's words made Clara more vulnerable. Will he hate her now? Will he shout at her? Of course. She knew what Rose meant to him. Even he confessed that he married only for Rose. Clara could see a small break in their new budding relationship and that broke her completely.

"If you want to lie to everyone, it's your choice. But I can't lie." Clara turned to Sandy and Alex "It was Roselyn who gave the file to Daniel." Clara showed some pictures and Sandy froze to the spot. Rose was talking with Daniel in a cafe and they had that blue file on the table.

"Clara. Why are you doing this? I don't know what you are talking about" Roselyn grabbed her arms while Clara pushed Rose instantly, making her stumble back as Alex ran to his sister's side.

"Rose. Relax." Alex consoled his sister while he glared at Clara who cares least about it. "It's not the time for this. Let's focus on Uncle." Alex tries to make Clara stop her nonsense talks.

"John uncle is hospitalized because of Roselyn. Why did she do that?" Clara yelled again as Alex closed his eyes in frustration. Clara's uncertain actions always made Alex realize her vulnerable side. But today, he doesn't want to understand her. He doesn't want to support her. He won't forgive her if anything happens to Rose.

"Clara, get out of this hospital now. We shall talk later." Alex has never controlled his anger like this. But with Clara, everything is new to him and he didn't want to bash at her in front of everyone.

"Get out?" Clara mumbled in a low voice as she glared at Alex and Rose again and again.

"I never lie. You know, right?" Clara asked, playing another game now which was not the blackmailer's idea.

"I said leave" Alex screamed at the top of his lungs when he realized the shivering of Rose.

Rose was trembling not because of the accusations but because of Sandy's reactions. He was just staring at Clara as if he was believing everything. His eyes had so many questions and she knew that he wouldn't believe her now. Will he leave her again? The thought scared Rose to hell and she doesn't want to explain to anyone that she didn't do that.

"If I have to be with that person who is not even ready to believe my words, I guess there is no use to be with him" Clara's words shook everyone around her. It's not even an argument why does she have to drag it to this extent?

"Clara. What happened?" Alex ran to her side as he cupped her cheeks instantly. He knew that something was wrong with her. That's what made Clara more vulnerable. How can he see through her?

"It's just trust, Alex. I want you to trust me not to babysit your sister." Clara spoke without taking her gaze away from him. She has no idea what she is expecting from this fight. But she at least wishes to get away from his life so that this guy won't blackmail her more.

"Babysit?" Rose is not at all in the right state of mind as her eyes wavered to release drops of tears. Rose couldn't handle this betrayal from the only friend whom she considered as her sister for some days. It was as if stabbing right in her heart.

"Please. Just stop this, Clara. The situation is not right. Get back home. I will come." Alex begged Clara. He could see that something was bothering her. But he couldn't connect as why the hell is she targeting his sister?

"Not home, Alex. I will wait for you in the cafe." Clara spoke as she left the hospital.

All the while no one saw Sandy who was too startled to even react. Roselyn was damn scared to even open her mouth near him. Alex made her sit there as he walked to Sandy.

"When will the doctor be here?" Sandy asked stopping Alex to stop talking about the matter. Rose sobbed silently as she could guess already that Sandy is confused and is not ready to even question her or trust her.

"Kitty?" the old man gasped as he drank the whole matter bottle in one go. Elena crossed her legs in a dominating way as she smirked at the old guy who was sweating purposefully.

"Your Kitty." She added with a wink.

"What do you want?" The old man asked, checking his surroundings if anyone saw them or not.

"Just help me to migrate to another country and help to get a peaceful life there. So,

it's as simple as that." Elena kept her demand so simple but that old man is sure that it wouldn't be so simple.

"How much?" The old man asked directly.

"One million dollar" Elena didn't even flinch to say that amount as the old man gasped loudly.

"It's nothing compared to your status. I mean. My daughter, Bella could be your daughter too. If this gets into media, I don't know what will happen to your empire and what will happen to your sons?" Elena pressed the correct button as the old man drank water again. He is a well reputed businessman in the city and he can't afford to risk it. "You are lying." The guy retorted with sweats in his forehead. Elena laughed out loudly. "In the middle of summer, you were partying with your friends and even bought me. Remember?" Elena asked with so much confident in her tone and the more she talks, the more he was scared.

"Bella was born in January. Do you want to check it?" Elena is one smart lady when it comes to blackmailing a person. The old man was too old to even stand up. He was hovering visibly.

"I need you to book tickets first for coming Sunday to Uruguay. Then you can deposit all money in small installments as if repaying debt so that no one gets doubt." Elena stood up from the seat as if she was done talking. The old man regretted even getting attracted to that small girl back then in that club. Elena was one beautiful and energetic small girl back then and she always attracted guys. But only a few like this old man could buy her because of her high demand. And now he even regrets going to that club.

Elena walked towards her room and sat there in silence. She has never thought to cross paths with any of her pasts. But she has to do this. She felt humiliated to use her daughter in this. She loved her husband and Bella was her husband's daughter only. But right now, she has no option.

She took the sharp knife with tears in her eyes.

"I will kill you." She mumbled as she kept the knife under her drawer. Right now, she is

a wounded dog and she will do anything coming her way. Maybe she is more than a wounded dog.

Clara attended the call from the same number. The audacity of the guy to call her now.

It shows that he already knew that she was alone in that cafe.

"New drama?" His voice scared the shit out of her.

"But I like it. Continue being mad at him and torture him." Clara controlled her sobs as she heard his words.

"Divorcing him might be boring. Now this track will satisfy me. I guess you are improving a lot day by day to satisfy me. Well, done, doll" The guy complimented Clara

as she gathered her courage to at least ask one thing which was nagging her for days.

"Why are you doing this?" Clara managed to ask this at least.

"I love to see them cry" With that the guy hung up the call.

Clara sat there as she let the miseries fly away. She has to come up with a new plan.

She can't just cry and let him have his way, right? She is Clara and he has to know this.

This guy should be caught at any cost.

But what could she possibly do?
