Chapter 112 Good job

It'd been 10 hours and they were still waiting for the doctor to give good news. And at last, the doctor told them that John is out of danger. Sandy took back steps as he hit the wall in force. He closed his face with his palm as he gave a loud sob to the people around it. A cry to fill their heart with agony. He was too scared. Alex hugged him again so that he wouldn't break down.

Alex took the tray of some snacks and coffee to Sandy and Rose who were sitting there like strangers.

"I am not hungry. Ask Sunny to eat." Rose said as she stood up to leave. She couldn't bear the weight of hatred anymore. Sandy didn't say even a word to her. The sound of her heart breaking into pieces made her vulnerable.

"Rose, have this" Sandy spoke as she turned to his side with eyes full of tears.

"I didn't do it, Sunny" She sobbed hard. Sandy just pulled her for a hug and pats her back.

"I know more about you than you could imagine." Sandy's words are overwhelming and Alex felt so low in front of Sandy. Why didn't he have this confidence back then? Why should he believe that Sana?

"But, Clara." She added as Sandy stroked her hair softly.

"Don't worry about anything. Have this and take a rest." Sandy instructed.

"You can leave. Sorry for wasting your time, Mr. Alexander" Sandy is back to his mode and now Alex is more than sure about what depth of pain he has given to his friend. The vulnerable state of Sandy showed how much he would have suffered back then without them. Alex felt so damn guilty that he is not even ready to look at Sandy's eyes.

Alex walked away instantly not wanting to interfere more. He is happy at least that Sandy is fine now and even didn't let Clara's words affect their relationship.

The thought of Clara made him snap open his eyes.

He ran to the cafe that was near the hospital.

He sat in front of her and watched her sleeping on the table. She must be waiting for him. The anger he had just vanished seeing her pure innocent face. He is not sure how she can melt his anger just like that. But at the same time, he knew that this small argument won't end for good.

"Alex?" Clara opened her eyes and was baffled by the dark surroundings. She was left alone in a big room and there was a mirror all around. She could see her reflection but was not able to leave the room.

"See, no one is with you now." Elena was laughing at one corner and Clara was paralysed for a moment to see Elena there.

"It's not reality" She mumbled again and again and tried to wake up from her dream. That's when the surrounding mirror got shattered and slowly the cafe reappeared.

She felt some grip over her waist as she widened her eyes.

"Relax, it's me" Alex whispered near her ears and she was too shocked to realize that she was sitting on his lap.

"Why am I sitting here?" Clara is perplexed "You were calling for me in your sleep. So, I thought I could help you to have a nice sleep." Alex replied nonchalantly as he was hugging her.

"Fine. Leave me now" Clara struggled but he had no idea to leave her.

"Stay like this, please" His words made her stop whining. He was snuggling in her neck like a kid as he exhaled.

"Sandy was so scared." Alex spoke recalling the full day's incident.

"Won't you ask me about my statement for Rose?" Clara asked directly. She is just impatient to go round and round. She wants to end this game and at least have a peaceful sleep.

"I see that you are in a mood to fight. But I won't fight." Alex replied and was kissing her earlobe. How she wishes to respond to his kisses.

"In that case, I have nothing to discuss." Clara stood up suddenly and his face fell with her action.

"Is there anything I should know?" Alex asked with a hope that she would open up to him.

"It's just trust, Alex. I hope you understand them soon" Clara left the place as Alex was very shocked with her attitude. What happened all of a sudden?

Two days passed by with the same confusion, fights, arguments and what not. Alex is super pissed off with her nonchalant replies and sarcastic comments. Did he miss anything?

But Clara was determined to fight with him and leave his life soon. She is scared of the next message from the black mailer. She is scared that he might order something which she couldn't fulfil and the consequences scared the shit out of her.

Alex and Clara reached the hospital to check on Sandy, Rose, and John. But again, their simple argument took a u turn when Clara had no filter in her mouth at all. She did cross her limit when she mentioned Sana and Alex.

"You believed her and now you don't believe me?" Clara asked with her annoyed tone and Alex was too shocked to even react. Clara can be anything but insensitive?

"Of course. She is your first love and she holds such a precious place in your heart, right?" Clara crossed her arms in a dominating way and now even Sandy could see the change in her tone and attitude and even he is getting hyper with the way she mentioned about Alex. That was so rude.

"What do you actually want?" Sandy asked, interfering with the conversation.

"I am done with your drama. Seriously. If you all hate each other. Do it properly. Or don't do this acting. She wants to destroy you and at the same time, she loves you. Here, you hate Alex and at the same time you hugged him when you were shattered." Clara shouted at Sandy and now Rose was glaring at her with heavy anger.

"One more word, I will forget that little concern I had for you" Rose poked her finger at Clara.

Alex walked towards Clara with an intriguing glare.

"If this is what your love or hate is, please stay away from me." Clara snapped at Rose angrily and that's it. Alex lost his temperament.

"Stop it, Clara. Your uncertain decision and actions made me fall for you. But I think I am" Alex paused as he took a deep breath. He didn't scream or shout at her. But his words were calm and composed and that's why it scares the shit out of her.

"I am tired of it already. So can you just stop these and leave?" Alex pleaded through his eyes and Clara took slow steps backwards as her eyes lined up with tears.

"From?" She asked with a hope to end it right here. Because she wouldn't be able to bear the pain anymore.

Alex looked at her with shock. What does she even mean? Is she going to leave him again? The thought made him so mad that he grabbed her arms harshly with a force. "If you wish, I will leave your life forever. Trust me. It's best for both of us" Clara felt the words weigh more than anything on her chest.

"If you leave, I will never run back to you ever. Trust me. It will be the end for us" Sandy and Rose we're shocked with Alex's words. They didn't think that it would drag in such a way. Rose tried to stop their fight but both were glaring at each other with so much hatred in their eyes.

Clara walked as fast as she could as Alex stood there all shattered. He didn't expect her to leave like this. Why does he have to hold onto her every time? Why does she have to be so harsh all the time? Why can't they live like a normal couple? Sandy wanted to hug him, console him. But he turned away, not able to see his tears. "Don't fight because of me. She might have misunderstood my meeting with Daniel. Please. Go and talk to her. If she blames me, just let her do it. Don't fight with her" Rose begged her brother but Alex was nowhere to listen to her words. It's not about Rose anymore. It's about the trust and respect between them.

Clara entered the girl's washroom in that same Cafe and washed her face again and again. Soon she got a message from the guy.

"Good job!" She read the message and finally she could breathe. She looked at her reflection and was worked up for another round.

She entered the toilet and closed the door. Soon she was caged by HIM in a corner as her lips were sealed by him.

"Punishment to call Sana as my first love." Alex spoke in-between the kiss as she couldn't even deny it. The kiss was very intimidating and dominating that Clara knew that she did cross the line today.

"I hope you don't end with a kiss." Clara's words awaken the dark desire of Alex. He peppered so many kisses to her face and travelled to her neck.

"You have an audience here" Both were startled by another member in that small

room.
