Chapter 113 Riddles

Flashback.

"It's just about Trust, Alex," Clara mumbled again. She left the hospital, leaving the guys to get shocked on their own.

"Something is not right with her." Alex is worried about Clara now. But what could possibly be wrong with her?

The doctor from India came and started treating John. Alex and Sandy get relieved to know that John had no serious issues.

"There was no need to call for me." The doctor is annoyed with how Alex kidnapped the doctor without his consent. Alex smiled sheepishly while the doctor just smiled, understanding their concern.

"He is perfectly fine. You can discharge him today also. But I would suggest you keep him here for at least one day." The doctor took his items. He hurriedly left the place to catch his flight back to India.

"Sorry for wasting your time, Mr Alexandar. You can leave. I can handle my problems." Sandy was back to square one. Alex didn't even deny his words as he turned to leave the place without any sound.

In a cafe.

Clara left the place once she made her point clear. Alex sat there all worried about the sudden break in their relationship. It was not at all necessary.

From the conversation, Alex felt like it was not a simple fight. And Clara is so firm in her anger. Alex felt trapped in a web where he couldn't find the way out.

Sandy couldn't help but listen to their conversation.

"Is she mad or what?" Sandy came there, after hearing about her words. He was about

to buy coffee for Rose and himself but couldn't stop hearing her baseless words.

"I don't know why she is mad?" Alex threw his hands up in frustration.

"I am talking about this alone" Sandy commented as he took the pendant, she dropped there that he gifted her on her birthday.

"How can she miss this pendant.? Doesn't she know how precious this was?" Sandy was screaming and was hell angry with Clara. Alex rolled his eyes at him.

"If you are here to make fun of me, just leave" Alex snapped at him. Alex turned away angrily.

"Why did she scribble here?" Sandy asked as he bent to pick up the pendent from the floor and saw some words there as if someone scribbled something with the help of sauce there.

'It's just Trust' both Alex and Sandy exclaimed together. What's this?

"She has gone mad completely as she was living with you." Sandy commented and Alex is just not sure what she is up to. Why is it feeling so weird all of a sudden?

"She even broke my pendant?" Sandy is now super grumpy. It was not just a pendant to him. The fact that she threw them just like that made him so sad and mad. She could have at least picked up the broken pendant.

"I will never give her anything" Sandy mumbled and Alex is at his limit. Sandy is just testing his patience.

Sandy starts searching for the other half of the heart-shaped locket of that pendant while Alex has no idea to join him.

"Dude" Sandy gasped loudly and Alex was shocked with how he called him.

"What was written there with that sauce?" Sandy asked with a panic ridden face as Alex walked towards him.

"Just trust" Alex replied instantly and looked at the other half of the pendant locket hanging in that rack of books where there was a book named 'Just Trust'.

"Did she want to tell us something?" Sandy asked to connect the dots and Alex was too startled. It's as if they entered some crime thriller novel and the most worrying thing is Clara is trapped alone and she had gone through hell to convey to them.

"Do you trust me?" Sandy whispered the highlighted line of that novel page where she parted the page with a paper.

"Yes, means my favourite food. No means your favourite food." Alex read the content.

"White sauce pasta?" Alex ran to the food recipe section to search for what she had kept there while Sandy moved towards the Pizza recipe to see what she would have kept if it was a No.

"Get the hell out of here and never see my face" Sandy read the content. He started laughing like a maniac. She is surely one-piece material.

"It's serious man. Stop laughing." Alex snapped at him angrily as he grabbed him towards the white sauce pasta book where she marked a page. They opened it and saw some highlighted words and they joined them to see what she was trying to say.

"Do follow my steps if you trust me." They read the content and again there were so many riddles. Both started collecting all papers and sat there inside the washroom as she mentioned clearly that someone is following every steps.

"Someone is following her and blackmailing her?" Sandy is just paralysed with the news. If Clara is scared, that guy should be a hell of a dangerous guy. No one can scare Clara just like that, right?

"We should not ask her any questions." Alex started summarizing all the points she mentioned there.

"We should not try to help her also" Sandy added another important point.

"She will tell us the next step." Sandy said to Alex.

"In her washroom, she will leave a note inside her shampoo bottle," Sandy explained to Alex.

"I am also reading this and I know very well what she meant" Alex is annoyed now. Why is he behaving as if Alex is a kid?

The note in the shampoo bottle made Alex freeze. The guy wanted Alex and Clara to get separated. Alex can never think of that even if it's a game. He fisted his hands till his knuckles changed to white as chalk.

"I will kill you" Alex punched the wall there.

He and Sandy acted accordingly and let Clara have her way of insulting them.

Flashback ends.

Clara, Alex, and Sandy became clear that the guy is not aware of what would be happening inside the washroom. So, they chose the only place to have communication. Inside the washroom:

Alex was showing how mad he is with Clara. She shouldn't have called Sana as his first love. She knew what she meant to him and still, she used this trick. She cannot deny it but she should have a filter in her mouth.

"I just wanted to be natural" Clara replied with a pout but Alex kissed her again to stop her talking.

"You have an audience." Sandy's words made them stop their kiss in the middle.

"Such a nuisance audience" Alex is super annoyed.

"If I was not there, your husband would never have found out about your notes. You chose him to find those?" Sandy asked Clara. Alex gaped at his words.

"I mean, he is not even ready to see that message you left on the floor" Sandy was going on complaining and all the while Clara was just happy that she is not alone anymore and she trusts Sandy and Alex in this matter. They will save everyone and even catch that fellow.

"It was me who found out about all the riddles." Sandy is so proud of himself. "Thanks" Clara thanked him instantly. Alex is not okay with this but he too knew that it was a fact.

Jason was waiting for Sana for one whole day but she is not at all opening the door for him.

"Sana. Please. I will not ask anything. Just let me inside. I need to pee." Jason begged her and he knew that this trick would work for sure. The door was unlocked and Jason dashed inside the washroom to finish his job.

Jason came outside to have a talk with Sana.

"If you are unable to trace out a person, it means that person is hiding with a purpose.

You shouldn't chase them down." Sana's words made Jason stop his track.

"If it's hurting, you shouldn't do it. That's how simple I am. I will not do anything to hurt myself." Jason's words made her eyes glitter with tears instantly. How did she wish to run away from everything and have a normal life? How did she wish to at least have Alex as a friend in her life? Is it even possible now?

"It's not about myself anymore." Sana mumbled as her sobs increased more.

"You should leave before I lose my control. Get out." Sana screamed out of her lungs. Jason jumped in anticipation. She was scared all of a sudden.

Elena was too startled to even lift her eyes at that manager.

"He knew that you would come and ask about him." Andrew said. He took a bowl of some dark-coloured soup and kept it in front of Elena.

"You should finish this soup if you want to know who he was" Andrew's words made her snap her eyes open.

She didn't waste a second to drink them. But the first droplet of the soup gave an electric shock to her bones. The chillies were used mercilessly and it burnt her throat while travelling towards her stomach. Who the hell is he?

"Here is the letter for you" Andrew kept the letter there and left the place.

Elena drank the water like an animal to get rid of the spiciness but it's of no use.

As she could barely manage herself, she took some minutes to calm down before she

read the letter.

She opened the letter.

'It's just 10% of what you were giving my Clara.' The single line made her baffled. So,

her doubt was damn right. But it's not Clara but Alex.

Elena let out a loud laughter to fill that silent room.

"Didn't your Clara tell you how scary I can be?" Elena asked with a sinister laugh. She

wiped her tears which was because of the spiciness.

"Just wait a little bit. I have a bad habit of repaying everything with interest" Elena screamed. She tore the letter into pieces and left the place.
