Chapter 126 Friend

Alex closed his eyes shut and he could realize that those words were his words. But whom is he saying? He could see a girl in front of him and he was confused if that was Sana or not. Did he say these to someone else?

"Alex?" Sana's voice brought him back from the mission to find the girl beside him at that time.

"Are you okay?" She asked pressing his shoulders little tightly.

Alex looked at Sana and studied her features. Why didn't he see this earlier? Her features totally changed. The eyes which he loved the most are not there. It lost some spark or he couldn't see the spark anymore.

He widened his eyes when he realized that those words which he just imagined him speaking, were not with Sana for sure. He knew that instant that it was not for Sana.

So much confusion and so many questions. He is little sure that he wouldn't cheat on Sana, right? Maybe there is something more that happened in these five years.

"I am confused." Alex replied honestly and turned to her side to have a little open conversation.

"You can ask me anything, Alex. It will not hurt me." Sana gave enough strength that Alex tried to at least ask about them.

"Back then, when we go out or be together, I used to flirt a lot with you, right?" Alex asked while Sana nodded yes with a little tears in her eyes.

"But now, I feel like we are not the same. I am not the same Alex. You are not the same Sana. I don't know why?" Alex wanted to say more but he knew that those words would hurt Sana more. He chose to just highlight some points to get answers.

"These five years, our lives changed entirely. It has destroyed something but given many things." Sana's words gave a little warning to Alex. Destroyed? What was destroyed?

"Right now, just do what you feel right. I am here as a friend to support all your decisions. So don't deny anything keeping me in your mind." Sana stood up and left the place instantly. What does it mean? Friend? Alex could feel that she gave a signal to follow his questions which leads to that mysterious strange new girl.

Alex decided to shrug off his thoughts. He won't think about every single word of Sana. It gives him migraine only. So, he will just let the things flow as per it's wish. Maybe he should have an open conversation with Clara too.

"Are you stupid?" Lian snarled at Jackson who is not in his sane mind.

"If she slaps Jackson, she should know what could happen to her" Jackson replied calmly as he watched Clara drinking the juice which he spiked earlier.

"This way, I will show Alexandar Fernandez that who is the boss" Jackson gave a sinister smile to Lian who was not so in involved in this plan. He can't earn Alex's hatred. Everyone knew what would happen if we come to Alex's hatred list.

Clara gulped the juice and showed thumbs up to Sana. Clara's heart pained every time he tries to remember their moments. He forgot everything because of her enemies on the first place. She brought a baggage with her to his life. The thought is eating her alive and she didn't want those thoughts to ruin her happiness now. She is too smart to think that she needs to get away from Alex.

Man, she is Clara not any typical girl to think about other's happiness before her. She knew that Alex will be happy only with her. So, everything comes next.

Oh damn, she couldn't see everything. Her eyes became damn se*y all of a sudden with a light orange shade as her tipsy walk adds more hotness to her look. Clara knew that something is not right as she clutched the table nearby to stabilize herself.

She looked at the glass in her hand and widened her eyes when she realized that someone spiked her drink. She rubbed her eyes swiftly. She needs to act fast before she gets into trouble. Clara didn't panic as she took the mobile to send a message to anyone in her list so that they know she is in danger.

She couldn't see the message properly. She couldn't even record voice note. She pressed the call button in panic as she could feel that someone is already there Infront of her.

"L.e.a.v.e.m.e" She couldn't even shout. What the hell he mixed in her drinks. She struggled hard not to fall asleep. She pinched herself hard to open her eyes with its effect and saw Jackson there. Dammit.

"How about I actually misbehave with you so that I can get another slap?" His creepy words scared the shit out of her as he traced his forefinger on her face. Clara pinched herself again and looked around to see that she is already in a dark room. He might have dragged her to the nearby room only.

More than panic, she felt rage to kick him hard but her body felt too trapped to even move a muscle.

"You need to drug me before even to stand in front of me" Clara laughed out loudly as she snapped those words, making him madder. She can't fight him with her energy but she can at least try with her words.

"If you are a man, come back when I am in full conscious." She tried her luck but Jackson laughed out loudly.

"Your fierce side is as sexy as you. Leave Alex and come to me." Jackson whispered near her ears as he slides his hands to her waist, making her shredder with his touch.

This can't be worse than this. Tears formed in her eyes. She will kill him with anything she could grab. She pushed him with all her force and turned to run but her legs gave up as she collapsed over the floor.

Jackson kept his phone on the table there and started the record button. He turned to see Clara there in her worst state. Her hair was fully messed and her dress was full of dust and mud.

"It's a gift for Alex from my side," Jackson said as he grabbed her shoulders swiftly.

Jackson bends down to kiss her. More than revenge, he felt the urge to kiss her since he laid eyes on her at her wedding. But he never thought that he would get an opportunity like this. He was too excited to fulfil his desires that he failed to notice the crackling sound of the door.

Clara had a very rough path till now but never in her life she thought to give up. She always tackled everything gracefully and even punished those diligently. But if anything happens to her today, she knew that she would give up on her life. She won't be able to have the same courage to face anyone. But before she gives up on her life, she will kill this guy with her bare hands. She will give him a painful death before she even thinks to do suicide. He should know whom he is messing up with.

His face almost touched the tip of her nose. She lost her full energy to even shake her head. But she struggled to punch her hard again with a little hope that someone will help her.

A loud punch over Jackson's face made him fly to her left side as she smiled at last through her tears. God has helped her many times even on the verge of snatching everything from her. She finally believed that God is there watching her from far away.

"How dare you touch her?" Alex screamed at the top of his lungs as he grabbed her with so much rage. Jackson was too scared to even see his eyes. Alex never lost his temper like this. He always acts cool and calm and makes his action speaks louder. But today, he seemed to not care about his image or reputation. All he knew was that Clara is hurt and this guy should die right now.

"You are mistaken. She is drunk and she only forced me" Jackson screamed and soon a punch landed on his face making his lips bleed.

"Dare you even open your mouth to say her name," Alex screamed again and soon Sandy and Edward came running inside to stop Alex from further fights.

"Take Clara and go home." Sandy grabbed Alex and that's when Alex turned off see the vulnerable Clara. She was hugging her knees close to her chest and her state was too tipsy that she could not move an inch. Alex scooped her in his arms and left the place instantly not wanting her even to feel the air around Jackson.

Clara was sobbing silently in his arms grabbing his collar so tightly. Her lips wobbled to say many things but she couldn't form any words.

"Relax. You are with me." The moment Alex said those, she kissed him right there. She wanted to pour her emotions through her kiss and it felt so right for Alex. He didn't back off as he gently stroked her hair.
