Chapter 42 Visiting Taylor's home

"What are you doing?" Sharon asked when she saw Clara in the kitchen.

"Baking cake for Paxton and Alina" She is hell-excited to see her sister and brother. If it costs her to meet that old lady, be it.

"It smells great" Sharon for the first-time complimented Clara for something. Clara smiled in response.

"I guess they are here" Sharon left to welcome the guests and Clara hastily decorated her cake.

"Thanks for coming," Frank greeted them with a warm smile.

"It's our pleasure. We were missing Clara too." Elena spoke as she grabbed Clara's hands with so much love. For the first time, Clara felt a little less intimidated by Elena. Maybe she is getting a little brave living with Alex. Even that locked room incident seemed to have less effect on her.

Clara mentally noted to meet Kriya Blair later the week to tell her about the great improvement in her mental health.

"Didn't you want to meet me even once?" Bella asked in a low voice which was filled with sadness. She expected Clara to call her at least once to ask about Paxton. But Clara never called her.

"Sorry, I didn't intend to make you uncomfortable. It's just I missed you " Bella replied instantly when she saw Clara's face. She always looked uneasy with Bella's concern. But Bella can't help but love her.

Alex heard their conversation and felt it was too odd for Clara to behave like that. There is something between them. Should he ask Clara directly?

The dinner went by smoothly with Frank talking about the culprit who kidnapped Elsa.

"He was arrested and told us that he was working in your company." Frank felt so sad for Elsa.

"To take revenge, he kidnapped Elsa" That was news to Elsa. She didn't expect someone to accept that she was kidnapped. What was happening?

"Christian?" Ron exclaimed shockingly.

"I never thought that Christian out of all would do this." Ron pretends to be so mad at that person whom he has set to accept the crime so that the case gets closed without any more drama. But Elsa on the other hand was just shivering with the new event. "May I see his picture?" Clara asked softly. Frank showed her the picture.

"I would like to invite Clara and Alex to stay with us for some days. My friends and relatives would want to meet them." Elena kept her demand politely as Clara widened her eyes. She hell never would want to return to that place again to live like that. She prayed hard that Alex would deny the offer.

"Sure. I mean we can stay there for a week." He replied instantly. Clara never complained that she is missing her family. So, the least he could do is to let her stay with them for a week. Even he can stay with them.

"Thank you so much" Elena's smirk was only visible to Clara whose hands became chilly with the sudden turn of events.

"Sign the papers, I will be out of your sight." Rose spoke, crossing her arms in a dominating way.

"Oh wow. Impressive. But do you know what?" Sandy asked as he dangerously neared her.

"You can try anything and everything. I am not going to sign this and let you live happily" Sandy's words made her laugh.

"Of course, I won't live happily as I will be living with you, my husband" Her words made him grit his eyes. She has a full proof plan already and he could see the danger lurking around him.

"Wow. I don't think I would let you live in my home that easily?" Sandy spoke with a chuckle.

"Well, I don't think I need your permission" Rose replied and went straight to her room with her luggage leaving Sandy behind to get even more madder than she could think.

Clara and Alex entered the Taylors home as Elena wanted to take them that day itself. After a warm welcome, both left for Clara's room.

Clara widened her eyes seeing the state of the room. Her dresses and all things were scattered here and there.

"Wow," Alex said as he saw the worst room.

"I will clean them" She started taking all the things and kept them in a box. Alex walked

to the couch and sat there as he took remaining clothes from the couch.

"Are these also yours?" he asked as the cloth seemed to be too small. He unfolded them to see it as she enlarged her eyes.

"Don't touch it." She screamed as she grabbed her inner.

"Why are you shouting like this? Relax and clean them" Alex replied as he was not aware of the inner, he was holding. Before she could grab them, her light pink colour panty fell over his head from the fan, startling her. She just wished some earthquake to swallow her right away.

He slowly takes them.

"Aww" He screamed once he saw it. He threw it instantly with so much embarrassment.

"Can you get out? I will call you once I clean them" Clara just wanted him to disappear at least for some time. Alex left the place without any replies. How can anyone keep such a room? She didn't even organize her things. But Clara knew who did these all.

Relishing the dish, Sandy made sure to eat it slowly and diligently in front of Rose who was expecting her food delivery in half an hour.

"Xavier, you can eat the remaining or trash it. Dare you share this food with anyone" Sandy is in full form to make Rose's life hell till she is there. Rose smiled at his childish attempt.

"In case you are expecting your food delivery, let me tell you that they came and went away," Sandy replied with a chuckle. Rose didn't think that it could be this way.

"You wanted me to sleep on an empty stomach?" Rose asked unbelievably. Whatever may happen, how can he do this? He knew that she couldn't sleep on an empty stomach. She always makes a fuss if she doesn't get food.

"Living with me would be like living in hell" He whispered near her ears as he grabbed some girl from behind, startling her.

"You can sleep anywhere here. But my room is busy tonight" Saying so, he smuggled into that girl's neck making Rose close her eyes in disgust. She hell never imagine Sandy like this. He was the best guy she ever knew. How can he be like this?

"Did you use lavender soap?" Sandy asked as if he were licking her neck. Rose walked fast upstairs not wanting to hear anything more. It makes her skin crawl and her heart bleed.

"It's a little small bed compared to yours," Clara said when Alex found it hard to adjust

in that small bed and even Clara couldn't get her space to sleep there.

"We can't even sleep on the floor as there is no comforter here. And we can't ask for it, "she added so embarrassingly.

"It's okay. I am fine" Alex replied with a smile.

Clara gets to the kitchen to bring water.

"How can you blame me for everything that happens with Clara?" Elsa screamed, grabbing Alex's attention.

"She was very upset that her room was shattered. And she believes that it is done by me." Elena spoke with a heavy heart. Anyone who sees this would surely feel bad for this old woman.

"We should make her happy like always. Why are you getting angry? She is your sister. You have to be nice to her." Elena was advising Elsa who was stomping her foot in anger.

"She always makes the outsider believe that we are torturing her. Why are you all still pampering her?" Elsa asked, throwing the vase.

Their conversation was pretty clear that Clara is an attention seeker and she creates scenarios to make everyone believe that she is being bullied here. Alex was hell confused as to what to believe. The scene with Sandy also was not that impressive. "Look at these" Elena showed some reports to Elsa.

"She is suffering from an ulcer. She even hid that from us. I thought she would love spicy food as always. I shouldn't have given her that food. She would be so sad and that's why she left the dining table that day." Elena is one smart lady to connects every dot to portray a very clever story. Alex couldn't believe what he was hearing. Clara is different and he doesn't want to believe Elena's words. But at the same time, everything can't fit this perfectly unless there is truth.

Clara entered the room breaking his thoughts.

Both were on either side of the bed and no one could sleep because of the conservative place they are sharing.

"This late?" Alex heard someone talking from the balcony. Same with Clara.

"No no no. Please I will get caught" Clara widened her eyes with the voice.

"Alina?" Clara peeped to see whom she was talking with.

"You know, I love you. How many times should I tell you this?" Alina pouted in the call

as Clara was super shocked.

"Okay, let's meet now then" Alina was happy to sneak out from her home. She didn't think twice as she jumped off from the balcony making Clara's heart jump out from her

body.

"Okay, I have some work. I will come soon" Clara literally ran to the entrance to follow Alina to see if she is at least safe or not. She didn't even wait to see Alex as he was super shocked by her sudden run. He doesn't feel safe to leave her alone this late night. Guess the night is going to be adventurous.
