Chapter 48 Are you okay?

The dark room and lots of bruises made Sandy sweat purposefully. His state couldn't be explained by anyone even though they could understand him.

"I didn't do it," Sandy mumbled again and again but Alex's punches were so deep that it hurt his pride, heart, soul, and everything. Five damn years passed but still Sandy could feel that insult, humiliation, broken trust everything just like it is happening with him now.

Seeing Sana again in front of him made him vulnerable. The girl was too pure and innocent. Sandy always protected her like his sister. He is not sure what happened that day. He neither tried to contact Sana to know anymore.

Sandy doesn't want to meet anyone right now. But Rose has other plans and that is just to do what he is not.

"Hubby" She chirped happily as she came inside while putting on the lights. His messy hair and full sweaty face shocked her. She wanted to run and ask if he was fine or not. But her ego wanted to enjoy his state.

"Get out" Sandy commented in a hoarse voice but Rose walked slowly to his side.

"Are you okay?" Rose asked, still ignoring her ego. He may stoop low to hurt her but she is still that old soft fragile Rose who can't see his tears. She still loves him to the moon. She still could do anything to reverse the time to stop those moments from happening.

"No" Sandy yelled, grabbing her suddenly, making her flinch with his actions.

"I am not okay. Thanks to you and your brother. I am in hell pain." He screamed out of his lungs as she was just shocked with his outbursts.

"Now that little snake is back, I am feeling even more miserable now. Thanks to my own father" Sandy yelled, pushing her hard to make her fall over the couch.

Rose is shocked when he calls Sana like that. Rose knew how much he adored Sana. Did he turn into a complete monster now?

"Isn't everyone suffering now and the reason, is you?" Rose asked what she wanted to ask him since that day but she feared his reply. She was scared to face reality.

"Yes. I did everything. You know what? I will do more. Do you want to see?" he asked, standing up from his position.

"You want to play this good wife, right? Why don't we just do it right?" Sandy asked, walking dangerously closer to her side. A warning bell rang inside her head but she was too shocked to even react.

"Let me show you what I did with that Sana. Let me show you how she was crying that night" Sandy is now turned into a full animal as Rose's eyes were of pure horror. She never expected her to be in such a situation where she would be scared of Sandy. The one who never ever made anyone hurt her.

"Stop your crap" Rose wanted to sound confident. She stood up to walk away but he grabbed her swiftly and lifted her without giving any warning.

"Don't you dare" Rose's words died when he didn't pay her any heed.

"Oh, she is the girl," Sana asked, composing herself in a short span of five minutes.

"Is there any problem?" Clara asked, crossing her arms in a very dominating way and Sana couldn't find any reason as how can Alex be so calm and bear such an attitude? The eye war between them was too much for Alex to even breathe. Did she feel the same between Sandy and Alex?

"Jenny" Clara screamed suddenly as Jenny came running to the room.

"Did you finish the third design?" Clara asked as Jenny glared at her with anger. They are working on first only and there is no way they could even start on second itself. And here Clara asking about the third clearly indicates that she is in a great mood to fight with someone.

"Tomorrow morning the soft copy will be ready" Jenny is one smart headed person and that's how she could survive with Clara back then.

Clara now wanted to yell at someone and Jenny smartly saved herself. Clara looked around and Alex didn't want to prolong this meeting.

Sana left the room as Alex gently grabbed her outside not wanting to get into bad lights of Clara again.

"I didn't know her. I am sorry" Sana said with a smile.

Alex didn't reply to anything. He is happy to see Sana back. But when Clara and Sana came face to face. He felt as if he had wronged them. Clearing his thoughts, he walked beside Sana in silence.

"She is beautiful" Sana mumbled with a hope that Alex would tell something more about her. But Alex was silent as they walked side by side.

Clara threw the package in anger and sat there with so much disappointment. "Anything wrong, miss. Talyor?" Jenny asked in her usual tone. She would always call her Mam earlier but now; she can't call by that name and neither can she call her by her first name.

"Mrs. Fernendez. Why the hell no one understands this?" Clara yelled as Jenny jumped in fear. Is that even a problem to get this much angry?

Jenny smiled at her and grabbed all the materials in one go.

"Let's get a coffee" Jenny grabbed Clara to the canteen where everyone was enjoying themselves.

"It's Miss. D'Cruz's treat for us today" Someone informed Clara and she knew who D'Cruz is now. The hatred for Sana grew thousand-fold more.

"It's your portion" Someone gave Clara a burger and coffee.

"Are you angry with Sana or something?" Jenny guessed her expressions already. That's helped Clara to pull herself together. She took the box and coffee with no drama.

She looked at Alex who didn't leave Sana even for a second. If he was going to do this, why the hell did he tagged her all the way till now? Clara felt like dragging Alex away and plucking his hair one by one till she got satisfied with his blood-dripping head.

Her tears dried as her eyes swelled. She looked at the dark room where there is no trace of Sandy. His actions earlier made her cry more. She hell never thought that he would do something to her. She checked her wrist which turned dark red in colour. "Do you know what? You are not even worthy to get my hatred or revenge" She remembered Sandy's words when he lifted her to their bed. He just threw her in the bed as if he was disgusted by her presence. He left the room instantly. Rose couldn't handle the pain in her chest.

Sandy sat outside of the room. He is hurt with everything around him. The worst part is he couldn't get that happiness by hurting them. Why the hell are they affecting him too much? Rose's little sobs were heard. Did he go overboard? Should he just beg before her and hug her till he could find peace again?

Rose got up from the floor wiping her tears. She won't sit and cry as he expects. She will make him cry a thousand times more. She typed something in her phone with a smirk and sent a message.

"Time for payback" Rose mumbled as she surfed her dresses to wear.

Clara picked up the Latte glass and walked towards Alex. She knew that she was not herself. But she doesn't care now.

"Your coffee" Clara forwarded the glass to Alex who is shocked. Has Clara given anything to him till now? She even has never given him a glass of water. Alex received the glass hesitantly with confusion.

"Hi, my apologies for acting that way. I didn't know that you are his wife" Sana shook hands with Clara. Her soft voice and her perfect mannerism made Clara feel a little low on how she reacted with her. So, she gently took the hands and shook with a smile.

"By the way, Alex never drinks Latte." Sana commented with a chuckle as soon as Alex took a sip. He didn't realise that it was Latte. So as soon as the taste hits his tongue, he spits them.

"Don't tell me that you don't even know this" Elsa asked, faking her shock. Wow. Now she is also here. Clara rolled her eyes at her comment.

What an irony. One side is Alex's ex-lover. Other side is his ex-fiancée. Clara wanted to leave the place not having any time to even play this show.

"Even I knew that he doesn't drink Latte. I mean, he hates that taste" Elsa commented. Sana looked at her and wondered about her relationship with Alex and Clara.

Now Elsa looked at Sana and Alex. Did the completion upgrade to the next level?

Alex now looked at the three girls and went back to Latte. He shouldn't have come to the office today. Such a bad day.
