Chapter 63 I didn’t do it

"Did you really not doubt me?" Clara asked once Alex settled on the bed to sleep.

"I believe that your ex-lists have standards and he was not a match there" Alex replied with a chuckle, making her annoyed.

"I don't have any exes. I don't even have a boyfriend. Dammit I don't even have a friend other than Jason" Clara yelled at him as she didn't like how he mentioned her exes. It was her way of rebelling against her statements. He can't use them like this.

Alex just laughed at her red-flared face. She looked like a cute bear whenever she got angry.

"About Noah" Clara started as Alex wanted to stop her. He didn't care to listen to any story about that person at all.

"He has no family. He was getting bullied by my classmates. So, I tried to help him and that's how he started leaning on me to escape bullies." Clara explained how she met Noah and how they knew each other.

"That picture where I wore a short dress. It was a function in our school. I wore jeans but my classmates spoiled them by spilling hot coffee. I had to remove them as it was burning my legs. Noah helped me there. I didn't know how the picture was clicked. It was" Clara trembled recalling all the old bullies she met in the school time. She made sure to fight for herself. But that time alone, it went overboard.

"And one day, Noah called me and said that he loves me." Clara explained further. Alex didn't want to stop her as she seemed to empty her heart.

"I denied him. But he" Clara couldn't tell anything more as she was taking deep breaths again and again.

"He locked me in a room even after knowing that I am scared of the locked room" Clara blinked away her tears. She couldn't believe how he could do that.

"He waited till the school ended and he wanted to force me." Clara wiped her tears continuously when she recalled those moments.

"Then?" Alex asked, fearing for what could have happened. She looked too scared to even open up about those moments.

"Did you forget what I did when you wanted to celebrate the first night?" Clara snapped at him, breaking his imaginary thoughts.

"I beat him black and blue till he becomes unconscious" Clara spoke and Alex couldn't stop his laughter. She was crying because of that dark room only. But Alex thought otherwise.

"Damn, I should have at least shown sympathy towards him," Alex said as he was continuously laughing.

"Even after that, he came here to get you. Such a brave person" He added as Clara threw a pillow to his side.

"Shut up" Clara warned him but he goes on laughing. She stood up and marched to his side and closed his mouth with her hands to stop his laughter.

"I will really kill you" She snapped at him, not able to hear his teasing laughs. Alex looked at her face which was just an inch away from his face. She too realized that and was paranoid with the sudden event. Her cheeks visibly turned red as she blinked. She gently took her hand and was just in a daze to look at his lips.

"Are you okay?" Alex asked as she came out from the trance. She widened her eyes when she realized that she would have kissed him if he didn't say anything.

"What the hell happened to me?" Clara asked as she straightened from the position. Damn the mission. How can she fulfil the mission to not fall for this person when she could barely stop herself from kissing him?

"I didn't do that. I have full trust in myself. I didn't do that. I didn't do that" Sandy yelled at Rose and marched to her side, fisting his hands to do anything forbidden. Roselyn closed her eyes in reflux.

"Stop it" John yelled at his son when he came to see them.

"One more time you hurt her; I will forget that you are my son" John yelled at the high pitch while pulling Sandy away from Roselyn's side.

"Rose dear. Just leave the home. I don't think he has been like a human ever since that day. I am sure he will do something to you" John spoke after a bit of silence.

"I will not leave the home till he signs the divorce papers. I want to marry Daniel and live happily in front of him" Roselyn snapped angrily looking at Sandy who started laughing like a maniac.

"I will not sign them. You can go to court and do whatever you want" Sandy snapped at her angrily and left the place.

Roselyn crushed down on the floor, closing her face in her palm. His words and actions started affecting her on a greater level. She couldn't think anything straight. Her loud sobs filled the entire house as John felt helpless. He touched her head affectionately and felt so sad for the girl there.

"I will make sure he signs. Don't hurt yourself. Get out of his home. I can't see you like this" John said as he cried. Rose hugged John as she sobbed more.

"This is my punishment for even loving such a person." She mumbled in a reply.

"Everything is because of me. Sorry dear" Edward said once they were alone in the

room.

"Whatever happens, happens. We should be happy that the mistake you did made us married today" Alina smiled at her new husband.

"Yeah, but bearing a child at a very young age, I shouldn't have done this to you" Edward is too emotional as he just can't seem to hurt Alina in any way. Alina just cupped his cheeks and kissed it.

"Don't regret anything. Our kid is not a mistake. It's our love." She replied as she hugged him. Edward smiled at her and caressed her hair.

"Do you remember our first meeting?" Alina asked with a huge grin. Flashback "What?" Edward asked irritated when he saw a girl following him for half an hour. He is used to these types of flirts. Girls always try to impress him either for his looks or for his Ferrari car. Though he looks like a playboy, he is not one. He is famous for insulting these types of girls.

The girl forwarded a greeting card to his side as Edward let out a loud chuckle. "Don't waste your time and mine. I don't like girls like you at all. So, snap out" Edward replied plainly. For the first time he didn't want to be so harsh. His friends too couldn't understand how can Edward reply so politely? But it was not for Alina. She was super offended with the way he told her. She clutched the paper in her hand and glared at him angrily.

"Don't give yourself too much importance," Alina yelled as she threw the gift to his side with so much force.

"Guess you have a lot of fans. Someone in my college is threatening my friend to give this to you. So, I got them to give it to you." Alina added with so much disgust and Edward couldn't come out from the shock of humiliation. He looked around and found that his friends were having a hard time controlling their laughter "I don't even get what was so special about you." Alina snapped at him angrily and left the place and it was too much to bear for Edward.

Alina was laughing like hell while Edward still couldn't get over that humiliation. But he just smiled recalling that small banter. That was the time which made Edward curious about Alina. Eventually he fell for her when he became friends with her.

"To be honest, when I came to give that gift to you, I was just" Alina mumbled contemplating on whether he should tell him or not. Some secrets are well hidden. "Just?" Edward asked, a little confused.

"You were too handsome and I didn't want to give that gift which was from Florida. I wanted to give them from my side" Alina blurted out with a huge pout and Edward widened his eyes at her words. He thought that she didn't give a damn about his handsome appearance at all. But it was the opposite.

"Those angry statements were from that frustration only," Alina added as she lowered her eyes.

"So, it was love at first sight for you and love at first fight for me?" Edward asked as he laughed out loudly with their dramatic meet.

Rose entered the room after taking a hell lot of time. She was shocked to see Sandy there in her room. He must have mistaken that to be his room in his drunken state. He was sleeping on the bed. Rose didn't want to even face him for at least two more days.

"Ma" His low mumble was heard as Rose stopped in her tracks. She turned to see him in tears. His face was full of sweat as he was mumming the same again and again twisting and turning his face from left to right. She couldn't help but walk to his side instantly.

"I didn't do that mom" Sandy mumbled the same thing again and again. And now Rose was as confused as hell about the thing that happened that day. He was not even

drunk that day and did everything. Why does he have to deny them now?

Rose checked his forehead and widened her eyes when she realized that he was burning like hell.
