Chapter 64 Shopping

A week passed by and no one in the home forgave Edward or Alina. Bella and Ron never contacted them showing their displeasure. Alina was one emotional girl when it came to her family. She couldn't handle the pressure. She walked to the kitchen as her eyes blurred due to the heaviness. She didn't want to fall as she was sure that she would hurt her kid if it happened. She clutched the nearby table when the blackness in her eyes increased and she sat there holding her head.

"Alina" Clara was the first one to notice it as she helped her sister. Everyone came there with a scream of Clara.

"I am fine" Alina mumbled but she couldn't even walk by herself and she closed her eyes, startling everyone. Edward came running and lifted her at once.

"It's because of the stress," the doctor told them the reason and everyone in the room felt guilty for the state of Alina. "She is too weak also. So, make sure to keep her healthy and stress-free" The doctor advised them as he prescribed some tablets and left the home.

"I am sorry. I didn't want you all to worry about me. I am fine" Alina mumbled with tears-filled eyes.

"We are upset and angry. But it doesn't mean that you can be careless and we will tolerate those." Grace said as she sat beside Alina and Alina hugged her instantly.

"Just be like how you all are with Clara. I too want to be one in your family" Alina pouted and they couldn't hold their anger anymore. Frank kept his hand over her head. Mathew too joined them. Sharon still couldn't accept this but she has to as she can't afford to lose her son in this.

"Clara, dear, get your sister out and shop for the reception party," Frank suggested while Alina got super excited about the plan. Maybe this little shopping will help her relieve some stress.

"Call Elsa too. She must be missing you both" Alina and Clara wanted to roll their eyes at Frank's words but couldn't do so. They silently called Elsa to join them in the mall.

"He is fine." The doctor said as he gave the reports. Rose checked them and looked at Sandy who was in deep sleep. Instead, he asked her to get lost and slept instantly. She just wanted to smash his head for real.

"Rose?" Rose turned to see Daniel with flowers. Sandy opened his one eye to see who was that.

"I went to Sandy's home but they said you are in hospital" he said as he came inside. "Thanks," Rose mumbled as she grabbed the flowers.

"There is a cafe nearby. Shall we?" Daniel asked and Rose has nothing to deny the offer though. She looked at Sandy who was pretending to sleep and scoffed at him. She could easily say that he was listening to their conversation. Such a bad actor.

"Let's go. Moreover, I don't have a hobby to stay where there is no respect" she snapped at Sandy directly and grabbed Daniel's arms to get away. Sandy fisted his hands seeing the clingy scene in front of him. He pulled the tube from his hand as he stood up to follow them.

"I know we have not been close as much as you are with Clara. But it doesn't mean that I don't care about you?" Elsa asked in a pained voice. She loves Alina to the moon but always envied how Alina mingles up with Clara. On the other hand, Alina didn't like how Elsa always taunts Clara. Other than that, Alina has no problem at all with her sister.

"If it's not for Clara, we would have been best friends. You know right?" Elsa asked in a low voice. Alina couldn't help but just gaze at her sister.

"You should at least ask for my help in this regard. If you didn't marry so suddenly, mom and dad would not be so mad" Elsa reasoned about Alina's mistake.

"Should we just have to blame each other for the past or are we going to shop?" Clara was pissed off completely with Elsa's acting skills. She knew that she loved Alina. But if Alina said this matter first to Elsa or Elena, they will make sure to do her abortion and even try to send her abroad.

Elsa walked to the mall ignoring Clara. Clara and Alina followed her. Though Clara is expert in designing dresses, she lacks the knowledge of shops. She never went shopping. So, Elsa is the one who would be choosing the shops. Alina and Clara entered the shop which has so many alluring designs in the entrance itself. Clara was amazed to see such collections all in one place.

"Mam, how are you?" Everyone in the store beamed happily seeing Elsa. They started inquiring about her health and next projects. Elsa happily announced to them that she was offered a lead role in a web series. The workers looked back at Elsa to see Alina and Clara. Seeing Clara, they knew who she was and they all scoffed visibly. Clara knew that instant that Elsa didn't just come to this shop that it had new innovative designs. Ignoring their judging gazes, Clara walked past to the light blue long frock which had a mermaid cut and glittering fabric. She touched the neckline and was amazed that it was not just a decoration thread but real silk thread. She checked the price and of course, she knew that it would cost more than she could imagine but found the tag empty. She has to ask the employee now. The urge to wear the dress to walk with Alex passes her orbs.

She has Grace's card though. Grace specifically told her that she should purchase through this card alone. But Clara chose to use that card only for Alina's dress.

"How much is this?" Clara asked them while they just ignored her question and walked away instantly. Clara rolled her eyes at their actions. She took the dresses and wanted to buy them because of their ignorant behaviour alone.

She walked to the billing section and kept the dress.

"It is costly and we are not selling this to you" The lady spoke in a pretty rude tone and Clara didn't expect this direct insult at all. Alina was busy trying out some designs so she didn't notice this commotion. Elsa giggled at the words as she walked towards the billing counter.

"Please, I insist. Don't be like that towards my sister" Elsa said politely.

Clara stood there looking at all who were enjoying the scene. She felt like slapping Elsa in front of everyone and walking away sassily. But she knew that it would add more

misery to her life. She controlled her rage and looked at the lady again.

"If I am polite, it doesn't mean that I am soft. Thanks for your warm gesture." Clara replied with a sweet smile and purposefully slipped the dress in the ground and stepped on it with a sweet smile.

"Oops. I am really sorry that I have spoiled your dress. I guess I should buy them now to compensate" Clara faked her guilt and the lady was hell angry with Clara now. "$20000" The lady said the amount not wanting to drag the matter. Their owner would come there anytime and would not even think twice to fire her.

Clara thought that it would be around 10-15 thousand dollars and hell never thought that it would be that costly. Maybe they have charged way more profits. She is totally screwed now. She doesn't have much money to buy this gown. Should she use Grace's card to avoid humiliation?

Elsa, who is aware of Clara's nature, knew that she wouldn't use Grace's card for sure. And also, she might not have much money to buy this dress. Elsa walked to the billing section.

"I will pay for my sister's dress" Her overly sweet voice made Clara grit her teeth. She would prefer to die than to get help from this venomous girl.

"Why did she even bother to enter the shop when she doesn't have enough money to even buy a single dress?" The taunts were too much for Clara to bear. She should have left the shop way before giving Elsa the chance to insult her. Clara walked to the entrance and the girl standing there didn't regret slipping Clara. Clara stumbled and turned to fall over the floor. She closed her eyes tightly and knew that it would be the worst day for her. But she didn't fall for her luck. She opened her eyes and met her recently favourite orbs. Alex caught her right before she fell down.
