Chapter 69 Robbed

Jason was so angry with Sandy for denying Clara's request. Even though Clara told him that she was okay, he knew that she was crying. Her voice was so dull. He walked to his restaurant. His father owned three restaurants in the city and he is managing one of them.

He saw a waiter carrying lasagna was not walking properly.

"Uncle, relax" Jason clutched the plate as he helped the old guy to sit there.

"Let me take this plate. You just rest here for a bit" Jason offered help as he took the plate to table 5.

Jason kept the plate and looked up to see Sana there. She didn't notice Jason. Her whole concentration was on her surroundings. She looked too uncomfortable as she was adjusting her hair and continuously checking here and there. Before he could call her, a bunch of girls came and sat beside her.

"Wow, our beautiful Sana is back with a full bang" One girl exclaimed as she pulled Sana from sideways. They seemed to be her friends but not in a good way though. Jason left the table a little and stood there.

"Heard that you managed to get your hands on our Sandy too?" one of the girls asked with a full jealous smile.

"We don't know what made Alex choose you. But guess it's not about looks or anything. It's just luck." Another girl beamed sadly.

"Our modern Cinderella is a little cunning and sl*t type" All the girls laughed as Sana didn't lift her head from the plate. Her tears dropped one by one as she just couldn't bear the humiliation anymore.

"Excuse me" She stood up and ran to the washroom while the girls laughed at her pathetic state and ate the lasagna.

Sana washed her face for the nth time and still, she felt hot tears rolling down.

"Are you okay?" Jason came inside while she was still in her position.

"Jason" He gave his hand for a shake and she ignored it. She was just wiping her face with her kerchief.

"They are taunting you, making fun of you, and want to see you cry. So do you really want to give them what they need?" Jason asked, unable to stop himself from giving a piece of advice.

"Oh, you are Clara's friend, right?" Sana gave a small smile ignoring his words though. Jason smiled at her attempt.

"Thanks for your advice. But I would appreciate it if you don't comment on anything unless you know about it" Sana snapped at him harshly and left the place. Jason sighed tiredly. Why does he always get surrounded by girls with problems? The main thing is why does he get affected by it? He couldn't shake her off like others. He wants to at least know her side. But it is impossible. He should focus on his work now. He went back to help his employees today with everything he could.

The journey would be refreshing to everyone there but the only thing that irritated them was how they all came to travel with the same airlines. Heavens play dirty sometimes.

The flight attendant was giving instructions while Alex leisurely took the magazines to read them and Clara shoved it off suddenly.

"Do you want to die?" Clara yelled at Alex and everyone looked at their side wide eyed.

"I mean, the attendant was explaining to us the things that could happen anytime and you are not at all listening to them?" Clara was astonished at how careless he had been. She knew that it was said on every trip. But sitting in the seat and hearing them can bring unknown fear, right?

"It's just a formality. Have you not travelled anywhere before?" The question was so sudden that Clara turned away instantly. The numerous memories came by where she was forced to stay back home by Elena.

Sandy who sat just opposite to them heard him. He looked at Clara and realized that the girl endured way more tortures than anyone could imagine. He was even aware of Taylor's endless trips to all over the world. But Clara was never a part of it.

Her face, when she asked for leave, came to his mind again and he felt so sad to have hurt her heart. Should he just apologise to her and grant her the leave? He mentally noted to convince her not to return on Sunday.

The loud screeching sound of the flight frightened Clara and she closed her eyes instantly and grabbed Alex's hands for support.

"Please please." She mumbled as she turned to his side and snuggled her face in his shoulders not wanting to show her brave facade anymore. Damn it's scarier than what she would always imagine.

Alex was so stunned to see her side. He didn't want to scare her more by asking if she is alright to not. He just wrapped his arms around her to calm down her nerves. She relaxed with his hold and the flight took off suddenly and she clutched his coat more tightly. She wondered how she would bear this fear till they land?

"It's alright" Alex pats her shoulders as she gets a bit relaxed. She lifted her head and was contemplating asking him if she could sit in the window seat or not. But will it look so childish? She has never shown her kid side to anyone. She is damn embarrassed to even voice out about her yearnings. She just stole glances towards the window where the clouds were too beautiful to look at. She wanted to take a picture of it. Seeing her curious eyes, Alex offered to sit there. She didn't say anything as she jumped to the window seat and was admiring the outside like a toddler who got a chance to travel abroad. Alex was so stunned to see her curiosity.

It was really a tiring journey but all the four had very different expressions on their faces.

As for Clara, she is hell excited for her first ever trip and now she really doesn't care about her feelings for Alex. She decides to just let it flow and will see if she really loves him or not.

As for Rose, her mind started rewinding every damn dialogue of Sandy and she wanted to reach the depth of the matter.

As for Alex, he is just happy to meet the person. And the same goes for Sandy. Both can even realize each other's monologue and it irritates them that they both share the same thought.

"Nitin Raj restaurant" Both Sandy and Alex exclaimed together as they bended to the same cab. Scoffing at their choices of nearby restaurants, both are pissed off now.

"Have you come here before?" Clara asked suddenly.

"Both have used google and they have a peculiar taste when it comes to cleanliness. So, they might have chosen that basis. It's our first time travelling to India" Rose replied with a huge scoff as Alex and Sandy turned away instantly. It's really an embarrassing moment to get caught off like a break up couple.

Some driver started negotiating with prices and no one could understand what he was talking about.

"English, please" Clara asked politely and the driver drove his car in response showing that he can't.

Someone came to their side.

"Brother, 1500 rupees." The driver spoke in broken English and Alex got inside the cab instantly while Sandy stood there wanting to take another cab.

And the drive was pretty cheap according to them. It would be barely 20-30$.

"Hard to get English-speaking drivers. So come" the driver insisted while they all are now seated inside. The driver was quite happy to fool them for just a hundred rupees ride for 1500 rupees fare.

The drive was filled with taunts and mocks and the driver came to know the rivalry between the guys.

Clara and Rose tried hard to make them calm but no one could succeed. They were just furious to see each other. It's at least good that they didn't grab the collar for a fight.

"Why did I even come with these crazy people?" Clara asked while Rose couldn't agree to it anymore.

In between the chaos, no one realised that the driver took the left side where the map said otherwise. He switched on the AC and put on his mask also. Soon Clara, Sandy, Alex, and Rose lose their consciousness.

"I will kill you both" Clara yelled at Sandy and Alex, right before she closed her eyes and both Alex and Sandy were not more alarmed by this sudden robbery than the threatening words of Clara.

Sandy and Alex struggled hard to open their eyes and at last they were awake and widened their eyes seeing their state. They suddenly turned to see that Clara and Rose were safe but just unconscious.

Now the girls sat there with so much anger.

"I just want to smash these useless heads" Clara snapped at them while Alex and Sandy were so much offended.

"Listen, the driver robbed us. What is our mistake? See he didn't even leave my suit. Thank God that your clothes are safe" Alex spoke annoyingly but regretted when Clara walked fast to his side as if she would slap him.

"He must not have done this if you both didn't fight with each other." Rose screamed at them pulling her hair out of frustration.

"Rose, I don't get it like how these two can be this much empty-headed?" Clara asked in frustration. Now the guys gaped at her level of insults. This girl must be the sole person who is not at all intimidated by Alex and Sandy.

"Now what are you looking for? You don't have money, phone or even any contact details. How will you meet that person?" Clara yelled again and she has a point though. How can they remember the contact details? But Alex smirked at them showing that he is the single person to save them from this mess. But more than that, he is happy to get points from Clara Infront of Sandy.
