Chapter 72 Is it that easy?

It was quite some time since Sandy stood there behind Clara who had no idea of his presence. She was just enjoying the breeze and was mulling over many things that had been happening around her. She is now hell scared of Elena's next move. Though she asked Grace to take good care of Alina, she is restless thinking what if Elena hurts Alina? About Paxton, she is damn sure that Ron will take good care of him now. Because as per the will of her grandma, if anything happens to Paxton, the property would go to trust.

Her thoughts were clouded too much and she didn't realize when Sandy pulled her suddenly.

"Thanks," Sandy mumbled as he bent to her knees, taking her hands in his palms. The gesture was too much to bear for Clara. He was crying loudly in her palms, wetting her fingers.

"Don't mind me being like this, please" His words were so damn hurt but he doesn't want to hold his emotions more. She seemed to be the right person to get to see him like this.

"What happened?" Clara managed to ask him as she came out of shock.

Sandy sat there after composing himself. Clara waited for about five minutes to get her answer "Five years. I am living with this name. No one has ever thought the way you think." Sandy gave a painful chuckle.

"Not even my wife or my friend were ready to support me. Even my father believed those." Sandy added and Clara felt so sad hearing about it.

"I became emotional when I heard your words for me." Sandy expressed the reason for his breakdown. He is not regretting though to show this side to her.

"Let me be clear first. I was not there when these all happened. So, it's just I feel that you are not that bad to do such things" Clara was very bad at consoling people. Her words made him smile.

"Can I ask you about what happened that day?" Clara asked, coming straight to the point.

"Just for you" Sandy replied taking a deep breath to open up something which he always wanted to tell them to Rose and Alex.

Everyone went back to their bed not meaning to drag anything more. It will be uncomfortable for Ananya's family too. Alex and Sandy spent time with Ananya, asking about her studies and everything. Ananya didn't like how they both talk like adults. She wanted them to be like the past, like to fight for lollipops or anything. But Sandy and Alex tried to not mingle with each other in any conversation.

Ananya smirked at them as she finally hatched a plan to execute in the next day's event. She will surely make them like before. Her tiny brain is not at all aware of their differences.

Rose didn't talk with Sana at all. Rose is hurt, angry and what not with Sana. Because she knew that Rose had always been there for Sana in the past. She can't blame Rose for this matter at all.

Alex tried to make Sana calm down and asked her to join them on this trip.

"Finally, nice to meet you, Mr" Jason gave his hands to Sandy with so much annoyance and Sandy took the hand with no idea of it.

"Let me come straight to the point. My father is one of the business partners of your AK constructions. So, I am not threatening you. But you can take this as a warning also" Jason's words were alien to Sandy as he couldn't comprehend what he wanted to tell through this?

"Grand Clara a week holiday. Or else I don't know what I will do" Jason spoke and that's when Sandy remembered how cruel he was to Clara. But wait, is this guy threatening for just a week holiday?

"Are you using this card for just a holiday for that girl?" Sandy asked, astonished about their relationship.

"It can be just a holiday for you. But for Clara, she has never been anywhere." His words were too hurt and Sandy could only curse himself to vent out his anger at Clara earlier.

"Don't make me repeat myself. Go and tell Clara that she can enjoy this trip" Jason warned Sandy before leaving the room.

Next day Everyone came out and was so surprised to see the arrangements. It was like they were having a party but all were wearing some old white colour dress. No one has done makeup or anything. There were large containers filled with drinks and there were so many sweets.

Clara was so excited and surprised to see Alex in a very different state. His milk face was covered with orange, green and blue colour powder while he was constantly smiling which was a rare sight to see. She wished to take those colours and smash them over his face like all doing. Without any hesitation, she took a handful of red colours and walked towards Alex.

"Happy Holi" She mumbled as she took the opportunity to colour his cheeks. Alex was little surprised to see her but he smiled in response as he took royal blue colour and gently rubbed her cheeks to hide those natural pink blushes. She didn't know that there is a festival like this which can be this romantic.

There was sudden chaos and they saw Ananya playing with Jason. He was very energetic and was matching the levels of kids there. His charm attracted everyone around there and now even Rose ran around him to beat him up in this game to colour him. No one has coloured him till now and he was very smart to escape everyone. Ananya was very excited to play this.

Now Clara teamed up with Rose and started targeting Jason.

Alex and Sandy stood there all annoyed. What was there even to play like this? They didn't like how every girl was running around Jason. Now Ananya is not even sparing a glance towards Alex or Sandy. Even their wives are very busy with Jason.

"Is he a kid?" Alex grumbled like a kid.

"Of course. Who does play like this?" Sandy added as he stood with Alex. Both agreed to each other and they didn't realise that they were talking with each other.

Rose took a bucket of coloured water and started running behind Jason. He cleverly grabbed Sana and made her bathe in water while she gaped at him.

"You idiot" Now Sana took a gun there which was filled with water to pour them towards Jason. Jason comes and hides behind Alex and Sandy resulting in Sana's target becomes Alex and Rose stood before Sandy.

Rose splashed the water purposefully over Sandy and started laughing like hell. Now it's a payback time for real. Sandy started running behind her and at last grabbed her

He bends and takes the red colour powder in his face and in seconds, he rubbed his face in her face as she gaped at his actions. Both were surprised with their actions but Sandy didn't stop as he rubbed her neck too. Though Sandy loosened his grip, Rose didn't struggle to get away. She closed her eyes and was just still.

Sandy cupped her cheeks and bent to her face without minding anything. Right now, she is his wife and he has been waiting for this moment for so long.

Slowly he pecked her lips and Rose snapped open her eyes as she pushed him instantly. She looked at him wide eyed. Sandy didn't regret his actions at all but looking at her expressions, he felt rage to even think about it.

Before they could come into another round of argument, Alex poured water over them from the slab and Sandy was startled with the sudden attack. He took a tray of colours and followed Alex to win.

Ananya looked at them and was really happy to see her superhero and partner back. They were really enjoying themselves like before. Both of them forgot the present at all and were playing as if they were in their college days.

"Let's play here." Sandy grabbed Jason in the centre.

"Why are you always hanging out with girls? Are you allergic to boys?" Alex asked as both Sandy and Alex laughed out loudly giving high five.

How come they both were playing as if they forgot everything in the recent times? Rose and Clara had no clue of how this little game made them forget everything.

Alex and Sandy were too involved with each other. The presence of Ananya made them feel like they were in that time period when they literally can't live without each other. But is it that easy to forget the pain?
