Chapter 83 Buddy?

Seeing her in this state was so hard for Sandy. He knew that she could never forgive herself for not standing with him. He even knew that she would give up on her life. He was aware of this before. But he couldn't save her. The mere thought made him vulnerable as his tears didn't stop anytime.

More than the shock by Rose's sudden state, Alex was startled by the same intensity of love Sandy had for Rose. Why didn't he see this before? Why couldn't he find his old buddy living inside this dark facade? Alex took two minutes to gather himself as he got inside his car to drive while Sandy and Rose were seated in the back seat.

"Rose, wake up" Sandy was continuously slapping her cheeks. But she looked paler than before and didn't even breathe. It scared the shit out of them.

Sandy smashed his lips over hers without any second thought to help her at least breathe. The best thing was that she responded to the kiss after a few seconds and started breathing slowly.

"Can't you even drive fast?" Sandy yelled at Alex who was equally scared of Rose.

"That is always fast if you drive with your mouth" Alex snapped at Sandy angrily. The give between them gave the old memories but both shrugged their thoughts.

"Yeah, so shut your mouth and drive fast" Sandy replied shouting and Alex stepped on the accelerator even more. Clara clutched the seat as she closed her eyes in fear. These guys are just insane. They can also get admitted along with Rose if they drive like this.

"Stay with me, Rose" Sandy said as his tears painted her cheeks. She couldn't open her eyes but she too started crying as her breaths became uneven and faster.

They placed Rose on a stretcher and Alex went to the reception area to call their doctor uncle while Sandy got her straight to the doctor's cabin. Clara looked at both and knew that they would burn the hospital if the doctor didn't come there right now.

In exactly five minutes, the doctor came there once the nurse did her first aid.

"What happened to her suddenly?" Dr.Jordan asked them plainly as he already concluded about what has caused her this. Jordan was Frank's friend and he loves all the kids like him. He didn't like Rose being admitted in hospital like this at all.

"Uncle, she was just upset for a few days. But she is fine physically. She is having her food and sleeps on time." Alex explained to him in a single line not being able to understand the cause of her sudden collapse. Jordan raised his eyebrows with sharp arryer." That was tortutte expirartorile expected. "Eating her food?" Sandy mocked Alex with a scoff. He looked away not wanting to snap at him more. For them, Rose's state is their priority. Sandy chose to tell everything he noticed in that short period of time.

"I noticed just now that she had her sandwich and with no gap, she drank her orange juice too. She didn't even gulp them properly but she started eating veg starters. She even had some bread in between with lots of side dishes which she usually doesn't like. She had not taken water even once. She was eating as if she couldn't realize that her stomach would burst out anytime" Sandy recited everything in one go.

Alex, Frank, and Grace stood there shocked. Did they notice this? Hell no. They were happy that Rose was eating her food normally and taking care of her health in this emotional time.

Clara was stunned to see the level of care Sandy had for Rose. Can such people live in this era? Can anyone love the other like this? Her heart started beating radically thinking that if Alex would give such selfless love to her?

"Her Blood pressure shoots up to an unbelievable range. And she even had lots of uneven food." Dr.Jordan spoke in a single line. He scratched his forehead, not able to get them to the details to scare them more. It's indeed a scary situation for a young girl.

"She has to be hospitalized for today. Let's monitor her." Dr.Jordan prescribed some medicines to the nurse to ask her to give them to Rose instantly to bring down her BP. He even asked them to put saline drops for her. He just told them that she would be fine and there is nothing to worry. But Jordan knew it better that she has to try if she wants to get well soon. Maybe he would talk to them once she regains it.

It was so hard for them to even sit there as Rose still didn't open her eyes. The doctor said that she is fine. But they couldn't accept that till they saw her all fine.

She struggled to open her eyes and everyone surrounding her instantly.

"Are you fine?" The words are the same as they all asked her. She couldn't see anyone properly as she closed her eyes again.

"Rose" They called her and this time she slowly opened her eyes and scanned the room. The first person to her right was Sandy who didn't mind leaving the place at all. He was holding her hands for support.

She just wanted to empty her heart now. She doesn't want to hide anything more.

"I want to talk with him" Rose mumbled under her breath and didn't dare to look at anyone.

"We can talk to him later. First focus on getting well soon" Alex snapped at Rose all angry. Right now, it's not important to console Sandy or anything.

"Get out" Sandy snapped at Alex as he stood before him tall. What's his problem if his wife wants to talk to him? Can't he show some manners and leave them?

"I won't," Alex replied, shrugging off his shoulders. Alex didn't want to fight with Sandy for this. But everyone agrees with Alex now that Rose shouldn't get emotional at this moment but Sandy has other plans.

"Sister, if you don't want your husband's handsome face to get ruined, get him outside" Sandy said to Clara who already started grabbing Alex outside. She is the single person to control Alex like a pro. Frank and Grace too followed them with no options.

"Don't make her cry." Alex yelled from outside while Sandy slammed the door on his face showing that he has no say in it.

Sandy walked to the bed and sat there. He didn't say anything. Instead, he gave her enough time to let her talk first.

She struggled to sit and Sandy helped her to sit there comfortably. When he was about to take his hands away, she clutched them tightly, having her eyes glued to the floor and tears rolling down like a heavy rainfall. Sandy's heart burned to see her like this. But isn't that what she has brought upon?

"I don't have anything other than Sorry" She mumbled and tried to look at his face.

"I am sorry" she said to them as she broke into tears. She couldn't hold herself as she grabbed him to hug. She hugged him tightly with loud screams of cries. Seeing her like this was not a pleasant one. Sandy would rather die to see her like this. She was too naive and innocent for this pain.

"I couldn't bear this." She added while Sandy hugged her back with tears. How did he wish for this moment to come in his life?

"I don't know what I should do to erase everything" She asked him with a loud wailing.

"Let's just forget everything." Sandy's words startled her. She expected his cold behaviour. Or at least his silence. But never expected him to say this.

"It was hell of pain for me too" His words broke in between to show his vulnerability. That made her condition even worse.

"Let's just forget" He added again as they both hugged each other tightly to let the pain vanish away.

Alex and everyone entered the room after a while and was surprised to see Sandy and Rose hugging each other.

"He is not angry with us anymore" Rose said to Alex who stood there shocked to see the new face of Sandy. The face which he couldn't read that he is acting or telling the truth? The face he is not sure if it belongs to his same friend or not.

"Buddy?" Alex called Sandy in a low voice and Sandy slowly turned to his side.

"I am sorr" before Alex could complete his sentence, Sandy pulled him for a hug, startling everyone. They didn't expect this so soon. Maybe Sandy have endured a lot without them.
