Chapter 93 I love you, Alex

His harsh words made her heart bleed. But his pain was visible to her. And the fact that it was because of her, made her vulnerable. She didn't want to make him cry. She didn't want to cause any trouble to him. She wanted to cherish his presence in her life.

Seeing him so close, she damn wanted to empty her heart. But is it the right time to say all those? Clara is always unpredictable and her replies amuses him in every situation. But he hell never thought that there would be this day when he would get this uncertain shock from her words.

"I love you, Alex" Clara felt so light expressing her feelings but Alex went blank with those words. It's just he didn't expect her to fall for him ever. She was very unique and different from all the girls he met. On one hand, his little heart got excited with her words but his other side warned him to not fall for her innocent face. He has trusted Sana and got a big betrayal from her side and he hell never would want such a thing again. And here it's Clara. She even left him unannounced. He couldn't afford to have another heartache because of her.

As his mind is full of conflicts, she kisses his forehead stopping all his thoughts. He has never felt this nervous in his entire life.

"Stop it" he snapped instantly as he pushed her harshly.

"Stop your drama and get out of my room." Alex grabbed her arms and pushed her outside. Clara didn't say anything as she silently walked out. Alex closed the door and sat there taking deep breaths.

"I love you, Alex" Her words made him more nervous as he drank the whole bottle of water.

"You idiot. Your stupid advice made me do this. I will kill you, Jason" Clara barked in the phone call as she was walking here and there all angrily.

"What happened?" Jason asked calmly, rubbing his eyes. It's one at night and this girl didn't even bother to check the time before calling him.

"You asked me to confess my feelings to him, right? And I did it already. And guess what? He chased me out of his room" Clara yelled in the call while Jason opened his eyes wide. She can't be serious. Can she?

"Wow." Jason replied as he sat straight in his bed with a wide grin.

"Tell me in detail." Jason beamed happily.

"I will kill you, Jason. He chased me out of his room." Clara screamed all annoyed. But Jason was laughing in the call.

"Listen. Do you regret loving him?" Jason asked in his serious tone.

"Never" Clara replied as she pouted.

"So never regret anything you do or say to him" Jason's words made her silent. She hung up the call as her mind was full of the words of Jason. Why should she feel embarrassed? She smiled as if she realized what she should do now.

The full night was the same for Clara and Alex. Sleepless night. But Clara was happy while Alex was confused and conflicted. Clara has new determination now which is not pleasant for Alex for sure.

Clara entered the room as soon as Alex opened the door.

"I know you were startled yesterday. But don't do this mistake of chasing me out again"

Her words were very domineering that Alex found himself numb.

"Between, I am sorry" Clara mumbled as Alex looked at her surprised.

"I knew it. It was just to make me shut my mouth, right?" Alex asked as everything fits

in that perfectly. Clara must have said those only to stop his harsh behaviour. She is now apologising to him for that only. Alex smiled realising that there is nothing to worry about.

"Let's just forget everything and be like before. There is no need for saying sorry" Alex added as he really wanted to end everything and wants Clara to be like before.

Clara looked at him as she neared him with slow steps.

"I am sorry" she said again and that's when his face showed relief. That was just a prank of her.

"For kissing you without your permission. Not for confession my love." She added as his face lost its colour.

"I am happy that Elsa ran away that day. I am happy that you blackmailed us. I am happy that I was forced to marry you." She spoke as she stood before him and he was blank with her honest words.

"You are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me" she said as she stood extremely close to him and hearing those words, he felt his heart jump in joy that those words are for him. But is he ready to let this girl come in his heart?

He is now scared of everything. He is scared to let this girl play with his heart. He became too sensitive now when it comes to trusting a girl with his life. He took a deep breath as he looked at her amber eyes.

"Let me be clear. I don't want to ruin our little friendship. I am angry that you left me without a word. You are still special to me. But love?" Alex spoke, taking a few steps away from her proximity.

"I can't and I won't ever fall in love with anyone." His words were firm and she could see the intensity of it. But she didn't get hurt by his words. Instead, she felt so special to think about what it would feel like if he fell in love with her.

"Did I even ask you?" She asked all amused. Once again, her words confused him like hell.

"I love you and I am so happy to find love in my life. I thought I would never be able to trust anyone or love anyone. But finally, I am here. So just enjoy that girl like me is madly in love with you." Clara's sassy words made him weak in the knees.

"Just take a deep breath and find yourself lucky" Clara smirked at his flustered face as she turned her heels to get freshen up.

It was so new to him. He has never seen such positive energy from Clara like this. She looked confident and her eyes sparkled with new determination.

Everyone assembled to have breakfast. Grace and Frank were too happy to have Clara back in their home. They were angry but she explained to them how she got treated in a hospital and she wanted to be alright when she comes back. They had to accept her explanations.

Sharon and Mathew didn't like how she made everyone dance to her tunes. Clara could see the difference in the home in her absence. Elena made Edward handle the head projects of the enterprise while Alex could take a rest for a while. Alex too didn't bother much as he was in his world of despair.

A hell of silence at the breakfast table when Joe kept all the dishes. Alex looked at the table with all his favourite items. What's this new drama now?

"I didn't ask you to prepare these all" Alex snapped at Joe in his dangerous tone.

"I didn't prepare these all," Joe replied, lowering his head.

"I wanted to prepare breakfast for you all." Clara's words made them surprised and happy.

"But why do I see only my brother's favourite items?" Edward's words made Alex alarmed. No one noticed that till now. Everyone had curious eyes now making Alex roll his eyes.

"Should you mention this?" Clara asked back with a gasp. She didn't expect anyone to mention this at all. It was an instant reply.

"Brother was really missing you these days. Guess finally we got our brother back." Edward wanted to say these to Clara. Clara couldn't hide her smile hearing those words while Alex widened his eyes at his remark.

"He even joined the breakfast table after a long time" Alex was shocked with Frank's remark. It was indeed a fact but Alex didn't realize that. Clara lowered her eyes as her smile didn't stop anytime. Alex wanted some magic to make him disappear right at this moment. Why does he have to come to have breakfast?

"Omg. What's this?" Alina gasped loudly standing up from the chair, startling everyone. She stood up and walked towards Clara as everyone was nervous now to see what happened suddenly.

"What's this?" Alina asked again, touching Clara's cheeks while Clara had no clue of what she was talking about.

"I have never seen my sister blushing for anything" Alina said as a matter of fact while Clara's cheeks became redder visible to all. It was pretty obvious now. Alex also noticed her pink cheeks.

"Omg. So finally, we have another love couple to compete?" Edward asked with a smirk and now Clara was blank to get caught like this. She couldn't mask her emotions like usual. It was new and she couldn't hide her blush anymore. Damn her cheeks. "Can you stop your nonsense?" Alex snapped at Edward as he stood up to leave the table.

"Can you stop this? He didn't even have his breakfast" Clara replied instantly trying to make Alex have her handmade food. She prepared everything for the first time and it's especially for him only.

"I am not hungry" Alex tried to leave the place. He is not ready for any teasing session now. He wants to stay away from Clara now.

"Sit here and have this breakfast silently." Clara spoke in her dominating voice as she came to Clara mode. The people there became silent to see the drama already.

"I said I am not hungry" Alex stressed all words again as he looked straight at her eyes. She didn't wait a second to grab his arms as she stood there extremely close to him. It was a pretty bold move from her side in front of all.

"Just sit and have it. Or else I won't hesitate a second to say it in front of all that I said to you yesterday." Clara's threat was very clear and loud enough for Alex to get intimidated for sure. He can't risk it as he knows that this girl is unpredictable and she won't sit back if he leaves the house now.

No one heard her words but they can tell that she pulled some string to control Alex.

Her smirk was something new and Alex for the very first time regretted even blackmailing to marry her.
