Chapter 94 A little stunt

Baffled by the happenings, everyone chose to have their breakfast in silence. Alex was sitting there with no words. That was not just a miracle but an impossible thing which Clara just did. No one can make Alex do anything, at least not when he is in his bad mood. But Clara is Clara.

As he munched the waffles and Chicken, his eyes showed surprise. He didn't expect tasty food for sure. He didn't expect her to be an amazing cook. She really tried a lot to impress him.

"Is it nice?" Clara asked with her sparkling eyes. Looking at her bright face, he so damn wished to just throw this anger mask and wanted to be like before only if she didn't confess her feelings.

"I am done" Alex stood up and left the home as her face dropped instantly. She shouldn't have expressed her heart. Maybe he would have at least been by her side as always.

But she won't regret her actions as said by Jason. She silently had her breakfast.

Alex loosened his tie and sat inside the car with thoughts full of Clara. Why does she have to be like this? His normal life was not at all normal anymore. Her actions, her stares, her words, everything started scaring Alex and he didn't like that effect at all. He gritted his teeth and decided to teach her a lesson. A bad lesson so that she thinks thousand times before messing with him.

"How dare you side up with Clara?" Elena barked in the call.

"I have never sided with you," Kriya replied calmly.

"You blackmailed me back then showing my son's picture taking drugs. That's why I gave false reports about Clara. But now, I am not scared of you" Kriya spoke confidently and hung up the call. Elena scrawled over it as she threw the phone in anger.

When Sharon discovered Clara meeting with doctor Kriya for many times, she teamed up with Elena to take advantage of it.

Kriya's son was just sixteen years and Elena got hold of his bad habits. She took pictures and blackmailed Kriya.

Kriya felt so guilty to betray Clara like that.

Kriya closed her eyes as a lone tear escaped. She remembered how Clara was about to end her life that day.

Flashback Hallucinations.

Your mom is suffering from an illness. So, we won't allow you to live with her.

Clara heard the words as her surroundings started dancing on its own. Her sweat and terrified face was so horrible to watch as she looked around to get anything to end her life. She didn't want to live. She didn't want to get haunted by this dream again. Now a similar situation came in her life too. She is done with everything. Her courage, boldness, everything was crushed down completely. All she is left with are regrets and pains.

"Breath in" Kriya's words made her more vulnerable. The person who betrayed her. The person who made her lose hope in trust. The person who pulled the last string which Clara was holding on to.

"Breathe in. Please. Don't give up. Your mom gave up. But you are her brave princess" Her words made Clara remember another incident with her mother. Her mom would always call her as brave princess and she always advised her not to give up at any moment.

Slowly the black and red scary room faded away as she could see Kriya's worried face. Soon realization hits her hard as Clara pushes Kriya with so much force.

"I trusted you. I trusted you." Clara blabbered those again and again as she threw all the things towards her side with no gap. Kriya has never left her patient's side and has always helped all her patients. Clara was the first one who took so much time to open up to her. She felt so sad that she betrayed her.

"I am sorry" Kriya could say only that again and again. Jason came at the right moment stopping Clara to hurt Kriya more. Jason was the one who admitted Clara to this hospital and even informed Kriya to come.

After pacifying Clara, Jason explained how Elena trapped Kriya and blackmailed her to say those.

"I am not a saint to forgive her. She betrayed me and that's it. I don't want to hear any explanations" Clara yelled at Kriya as she threw another vase towards her in her vulnerable state.

"Sister. I am so sorry. It was because of me" Clara's eyes softened with the little voice from the entrance. There stood a boy who might be a little elder to Paxton. The thought of Paxton made her calm down seeing the boy.

"My mom wanted to save me." The boy's cries melted her heart instantly as she grabbed the boy to hug her. Clara was reminded of Paxton and she could relate to Kriya now. If anything, sort of this happened with Paxton, Clara would have done the

same.

Kriya always admired Clara's Fighting with her depression and anger disorder. She is really a hard-working person and always wished to have a normal happy life like others. Kriya wanted to help the little girl to give that soon.

"If you want to ask sorry, do it properly" Clara snapped at Kriya as she wiped her tears.

"Treat me properly. I don't want to have nightmares anymore. I don't want to fall weak. I want to be myself again. I want to destroy Elena completely" Clara's determined words made Jason amused. This girl is really something. She is as weak as a toddler but her will power and courage is something which no one can even measure with anything. Clara is really a unique girl and no one can destroy her unless she lets them do it.

Flashback ends.

Kriya had that proud smile now. Out of all patients she has treated, she had a special place for Clara. No one had this strong determination to get cured fast. No one was like Clara.

"Elena would never be able to defeat Clara now." Kriya mumbled as she packed her stuff to leave the city. Elena is one vile lady and she can't afford to get caught by her.

As they all finished their breakfast, Clara looked at Edward who was dressed up formally. She never saw Edward in this attire.

"Are you going somewhere?" Clara asked curiously.

"I am handling the main projects now. Uncle and dad thought that brother needed some break." Edward replied with a smile. And Clara knew at that instant whose idea it might be. Elena and Sharon cleverly eliminated Alex from all major projects to get all directors on their side to make Edward CEO.

"Now I am back and I will make sure Alex is not on break anymore" Clara's words made Edward laugh.

Clara silently called Elena from her mobile and kept them on the table for her to listen to the conversation.

"Alina is young and she might be mentally exhausted with the pregnancy changes in her body. I don't think you should do all these now." Clara stated them as a matter of fact. Her smirk grew wider when she saw Elena pick up the call.

"So, you should just stay beside your family. Just let Alex handle everything as usual" Clara's words made Elena shocked.

"Just say that loud enough." Alina beamed as she was too happy. Clara excused herself as she went to the wash basin to wash her hand, leaving them to discuss it.

"My dear Grandma, I hope you enjoyed my gift." Clara spoke as Elena couldn't control her anger.

"Just wait and watch. You will be left all alone in this war and I will make sure to pay back for everything. Even for my mom's suffering" Clara's words were so dangerous that Elena could feel Stella's voice behind. Elena still remembers Stella's brave actions back then.

"Do you even know how your mother died?" Elena asked as she smirked through the call. Clara's blood stopped right at the moment. Her mom's death is something which she still doesn't want to talk about.

"Just wait a little. I will make sure you see that in person and have the same death" Elena's voice sent shivers to Clara's spine.

"Did you think that your little stunt would crush me?" Elena laughed in the call.

"You are just a beginner while I made this game." Elena hung up the call as Clara stood there with so much anger in her orbs. She thought that it would be easy with just her courageous stunts but it will take hell a lot of effort to make Elena beg on her knees. "Who will tell my brother about this?" Edward's voice helped Clara to come out from her monologue. She smiled and ran to his side "When Clara is there, why to fear?" Clara's cheerful words made them smile automatically. They could see her positive change in her attitude and they are grateful for that.

Clara took her purse and left home only with one mission to see her love. She smiled recalling his flustered face in the morning. She didn't know where she got this naughty idea to tease him but she started enjoying it already.
