Chapter 96 New drama

Elsa walked back home after a long tiring day. Lately, everything looked empty for her. She couldn't understand where her life was taking her to. Her life was controlled by Elena in all terms. Elsa never felt that she was trapped in a cage. But now, she is feeling suffocated. Elena's ideology to live a grand life made her mad. Why does she have to marry such a person just because of money?

When Alex's alliance came, she liked Alex and always dreamt to be a part of their family. But now it's not possible. She has had many boyfriends but she didn't feel that much connectivity to continue her relationship. But with Jake, she knew that she was so happy.

Jake was her classmate and her boyfriend for a long time. She even got pregnant with his child. But with the fear of Elena, she aborted it and broke up with Jake.

"Hi, Elsa" Jake's voice brought Elsa back from her deep thoughts. She was not at all bothered by the separation from Jake. But when he was appointed as her manager for the series, she is taking part in, she could do nothing but recall her old days with him.

"Tomorrow, we have to shoot abroad. They changed the plan at the last minute. I ran here to inform you" Jake informed her with his charming smile. Elsa looked at his face and she realized how much she was attracted to him earlier.

"You could have just messaged me." Elsa snapped at him as if she is not okay to see him every then and there.

"But I couldn't have seen you" He replied instantly and left the place. For Jake, Elsa was his first love and he is not able to move on. But for Elsa, she is not even sure if she loves him or not.

She came back home to see Elena's sour mood. Since Clara is back, Elsa knew that her grandma would be grumpier than ever.

"Mr. Scott wants to be a part of our family" Ron beamed as he announced them. Elena and Elsa stood there not able to understand his words while Bella smiled at her husband.

"He wants Elsa to marry his elder son" the words made Elena happy while Elsa's face fell down instantly. She didn't know why she is not happy now. Who didn't know about Scott? They are a well reputed family and their elder son means its George Scott. He is a super-hot bachelor in the city. Elsa even has seen him in some parties and wanted to at least have a selfie with him. But hearing this news, she is not sure she wants this. "That was great" Bella beamed happily as she gave sweets to all to celebrate this news. "Can I meet him before we decide anything?" Elsa asked hoping for a positive answer but Ron glared at his daughter "You can meet him but I guess you won't disappoint me like your sister" Ron's words sent chills to Elsa. She knew that if she did anything, Ron would surely lose his patience.

Alex stood there looking at her red face. She was exhausted after just revealing one incident. Alex could never relate to what she must have gone through.

"But" Alex's voice choked in between as he was not able to believe those.

"I am sorry that I didn't trust you enough. I was scared." Clara broke down completely as her sobs got heavier.

Alex could do nothing but to grab her for a hug. A hug to comfort her. A hug to convey that she is not alone anymore. His eyes became a red shot realizing what happened with her till now. Alex doesn't want to reason about his anger.

"relax" His words came as a whisper as he couldn't say anything anymore. Clara felt his warmth as she snuggled more. She couldn't ask for more. Her only priority is Alex now. She doesn't care about anything.

He stayed there like that as she calmed down really quickly. Mac entered the room and was startled to see the scene in front of him.

"Did I come at the wrong time?" Mac asked as Alex left Clara instantly and looked at his friend and wife now.

"You should be named as bear." Clara snapped at Mac and was hell angry with him. Alex looked at her wide eyed. This is not Clara. She must be someone else.

"Did I miss anything? I mean, you were often not interested in him. Then?" Mac suddenly asked, unable to understand the real reason.

"I am his wife and I want to spend some alone time with him. Why is it so hard to understand?" Clara yelled at Mac as she reached her peak. Why can't she just have this pastry with him?

When she saw his shock, she realized how her mouth sold her this time too. She closed her eyes in frustration and she didn't have to look at Alex now as she was sure of his shocked face.

"Even I want to spend some alone-time with my buddy." Mac is persistent to hear the exact words which he already guessed but was super shocked to realize that to happen this soon.

"Will you both stop it?" Alex yelled at both while they jumped visibly with the loud voice alone. Clara looked at Alex and saw that the sympathetic look he had a few minutes ago was all gone. Thanks to her mouth.

Clara's mobile rang at the right moment as she ran away from the cabin to attend the call. Alex took a deep breath. He damn needs some time to adjust to the sudden change of her behaviour while Mac is on cloud nine to see this version of Clara who easily makes Alex silent and also blush.

"Be there. I am on the way" Clara spoke and hung up the call. Her next mission was on the way as she took her belongings carefully and caught the cab to reach her destination.

"I haven't forgiven you yet. But still." Sandy spoke as he bent down to take a bowl of salad to keep them in front of his mom's portrait.

"It's been 6 years since you left me." He said as he touched the portrait with so much love.

"Your favourite salad. I prepared them for you." he added as he kissed her mom's forehead in the portrait. This single loss is enough for his lifetime. He is not able to move on from the past. He is stuck there forever and he is even okay to lock his happiness there.

He heard footsteps behind as he turned to see the cause of his pain, Roselyn, and another guest.

"Hello, brother" Clara beamed as Sandy became dumbfounded with the word alone.

"Are you not happy seeing me?" she asked with her innocent doe eyes battling again and again.

"You can come inside but alone." Sandy snapped at her angrily as he is not in the mood to entertain anyone at least today when he is at his worst.

"Why?" Clara dared to ask them as she crossed her arms dominating.

"You stopped her marriage showing that you didn't sign your divorce papers, right?" Clara asked without averting her gaze from Sandy while grabbing Rose to his side. "Now same trick" Clara winked at Sandy while he looked shocked.

"Yes, I didn't sign the papers. So, I am your wife. I will stay here only" Rose snapped at him angrily with a new determination in her eyes which was so new to Sandy. As far as Sandy knew about Rose, she would beg for his forgiveness and even apologize till her death. But this criminal move should be Clara's idea. Clara had that proud smile while Sandy looked at her with anger.

"Rose, don't be a snob. Go and serve lunch to your husband" Clara winked at Rose while she happily got inside the kitchen to take the containers already.

"I didn't want to be like before with you" Sandy sounded so scary that Clara gulped visibly.

"Just have fun hurting them from so close" Her words shook Sandy. She did this so that he could hurt Rose even more?

"Why? Don't you want to?" Clara asked as she turned to his side with so much confidence "I want to see how far your hatred can go." She spoke as she called Alex in the call with a smirk.

"Your sister is inviting you to lunch in her home. Her husband's home. Won't you come?" Clara asked in the call while Sandy fisted his hands in anger "What?" Alex was shocked with the new drama now. Sandy never misses an opportunity to insult Rose and Alex and now it would be damn more painful for Rose.

Alex didn't even hear her rest of the words as he dragged his car keys to reach the place as soon as possible.
