Time flew by and it's only 3 days left for their engagement. Invitations are already distributed among the close family and friends and the preparation of the upcoming function is going smoothly. West wing of the Rathore Mansion was getting dolled up as extended family of Rathores is arriving for Udaipur today.

•Rathore Mansion•

"Badi ma , kya bana rhe ho. Badi aachi khushboo aa rhi h." , Jay said while entering the kitchen along with Sanaya.

"Gajar ka halwa." , Saloni said while garnishing it with dryfruits.

"Ma'am , Rajmata has summoned everyone in the living room." , A maid cut off their conversation and said while bowing.

"Ji. Aap jaaiye. Hm aa rhe h.", She turned off the flame and made her way towards the living room followed by both Jay and Sanaya.

"Bhaiya and bhabhi and their family are about to reach within 10 minutes. Is everything settled?", Aarti asked everyone present there.

"Dadi don't take this much tension. Everything is perfect. And if something isn't then it won't make any difference. They are our family." , Sanaya consoled her by putting her hand on her shoulders.

"Bacche you knew they are close to Abhiraj, and he will not like if they face any problem here." , Aarti muttered sadly.

"Don't get upset dadi, I don't like it.", Jay hugged her and gave a kiss on her cheek to which Aarti frowned and wiped it off.

"Dadi , why you wiped it of. You don't love me now?" , Jay made dramatic faces and uttered.

Before she can reply, they got a call from head security informing that they are here. Jay and Sanaya was first to run towards the doorstep and opened the gate only to see their extended family standing there waiting for them to open the door.

They touched the feet of elders and hugged their cousins. Time passed and now they all were seated in the lawn chatting happily.

"Where is Chachu papa?" , 5 year old Abhay asked his father Mahir Rathore in his cute voice.

"I don't know bub. Lemme ask my chachu. Hmm.", Mahir bumped his nose with his finger and turned his attention towards Abhiraj's father asking, "Where is Bhai chote papa?"

•Meeting Room, Rathore Empire •

Abhiraj entered inside the meeting room for the meeting with Elites. Everyone stood up in respect and once he took his seat at the head of the table, others soon joined him and the meeting began.

"The khanaa family has signed a peace treaty with us.", Ritvik, one of the Elite spoke, his voice clear and smooth. "They are now under our protection too. The business is ofcourse going to split with 75% profit coming to Rathore Account."

Turning to his left Abhiraj addressed another Elite, "How goes the business of our hotels and casinos in foreign?"

Clearing his throat he replied, "Everything is well boss. The profits were showing an upward trend day by day and no one has tried to create any type of mess there. So we are in the clear."

"Good", Abhiraj nodded in approval.

Afterwards Raghav connected the projector with the screen, an insta profile popped up on that which diverted Elites attention towards it.

They all have their questions but they knew better than to open their mouth.

"This is the Queen of the Rathore Empire.", Listening the statement of Abhiraj, everyone eyes widened out of shock but they didn't utter a word. "And Miss.Samaira I want you to put the Rathore firewall system around her every social media. Is that clear?"

All the files having any important information regarding Rathore Empire were blocked with the most secure and complex systems, designed by Abhiraj himself. Ishika is now the part of the Rathore Empire and Abhiraj don't want his enemies to target his queen. Though he is more powerful than any of them combine but that didn't stop him to take some measures to protect her and her privacy.

Samaira, one of the tech genius of Rathore Empire nodded her head positively and said ," Yes boss."

"And this information must not be out from these four walls, otherwise I am sure you won't like the consequences.", His voice was sharp and unforgiving. He raked his through all of them and a dark look covered on his face looking at the man named vyom who was still has eyes focused on the Instagram profile popped up on the screen with some lusty look.

Abhiraj took out his gun out and shoot Vyom's left shoulder earning a loud scream from him. Everyone flinched at his sudden act and a shiver ran down to their back seeing Abhiraj standing up and walking towards him.

He put the barrel of the gun on the wound and pressed it hardly deepening it more. His eyes were ruthless and completely blackened. He lean down to his ear and whispered menacingly , "I never wanted to losse a technician, unfortunately I have to."

Whispering this he spinned his chair and held his mouth in a tight grip.  A whimpered left his throat when Abhiraj growled, "How dare you to lust over my queen?"

His eyes were blazing fire while his inner beast was ready to tore him apart, who dare to lust over his woman.

He left his mouth and didn't give him any time to react as he directly shoot into his eyes snatching the life from his body in an instant. No remorse, no regret was in his eyes looking at the lifeless body laid upon the chair. And for the Elites they were in the state of shock, they knew he is ruthless and completely aware about his ways but this was the first time they saw him inflicting the pain on Elite this painfully.

His eyes then snapped towards another Elites and he affirmed, "Remember Rule no.1 , Never disrespect my queen in any way. She is my queen, my choosen."

Saying this he stormed out of  the room leaving the Elites terrified beyond anyone's imagination in the meeting room but a single thought was swirling inside all of their minds was ,

"Whoever is she, is the sanity of this beast and only she can keep him sane."

~At Night~

Abhiraj entered inside the Rathore Mansion early in order to see his family but he didn't find his extended family there so he directly made his way towards his floor.

After freshning up, he went to the home theatre on the second floor and his lips twitched upwards seeing his cousins laying on the couches with snacks in their hands watching some horror series.

Darsh eyes unconsciously move towards the door and he squealed loudly when he saw him standing there, leaned across the door. "bhaiyaa". His squeal grabbed everyone's attention and in next moment they all were squeezing him in a tight hug despite knowing the fact he didn't like to be touched.

"Leave me in 2 seconds unless you want me to chop your hands off." , They all instantly leave him and pout but Abhiraj royally ignored their pout. The only pout and puppy eyes he can't ignore is his queen.

"You all are looking like Chimpanzee. Quit making that face.", He affirmed

"Bhai you are scary, i wonder how bhabhi is going to handle you." , Shalini uttered but Abhiraj just smacked her head and said,"Shut up!".

"You are wrong here Shalu. Only bhabhi can handle this beast here. Right bhai?", A smirk formed on Aashish face but gone as soon as it comes when he received a hard glare in return.

"Where is my muchkins of the elders?" , Abhiraj asked when he didn't find them there.

"Have you seen the time bhai. It's 1 am, they've already slept. And we were also awake just to meet you. But his highness had no time for us.", Anushka replied putting her head on Aashish shoulder.

"I just same early to meet you all.", Abhiraj defended himself and he received an eye roll from Devika who retorted, "Yeah 1 AM is early."

"Whatever! Have some sleep guys. You must be tired from your journey. We'll talk in morning. Good night." , Saying them night, he stepped inside the balcony of his room and the cool air slapped his face. He felt serene but there was pain swirling inside his grey orbs. His heart clenched remembering his childhood memories. He took out his phone and gazed at the wallpaper of his queen to calm his heart and  whispered softly

" you are the light shining through my darkest moments, making it better. I love you My Queen."
